In all honesty i like what i do and i enjoy it. I still do. But this has been one of THE CRAZIEST SEM EVER. AND I HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY SWAMPED WITH SO MANY THINGS AND EVERYDAY I GO TO SCHOOL. THATS THE THING ABOUT PROJECTS. YOU CANT DO SHIT INDIVIDUALLY (not all the time) SO YOU END UP IN SCHOOL DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY. And eventually you just get so sick and tired of it.
I consider myself lucky. In the slums that is our studio I have a table to call my own. It ha been hardwon, staked out, and beaten into the collective concsciousness. The jungle. When we shifted studios we weren't supposed to have personal table. But NO I needed a space to put my things. Especially my sleeping bag and safari bed. So I kept returning to that table and claiming that chair until it was MINE. Automatically mine. When studio started kicking in and models littered the entire place and people complained about not having places to work, my table was still mine.
I have a safari bed and sleeping bag. Combined, they are the height of luxury, the Ritz-Carlton to the Holiday Inn of the hard surface of the tables. Comfy and blocks out light. And yet, despite these possessions and this territory, I tire of this place. EVERYDAY. I CANNOT STRESS HOW MUCH IT HAS TAKEN A TOLL ON MY SANITY. I THINK I AM ONLY FEELING IT NOW. I WANT OUT. TODAY I WAS HERE AGAIN.
I thought tomorrow I could meet outside. Edit our book. Then print it and be done with it. But NOOOOOOOOO we have to shift it back to school to meet again. AGAIN? AGAIN. YES FUCKING AGAIN. BECAUSE SCHOOL IS MORE CONVENIEN. Convenient how? Convenient in the sense that both of us have to travel 1 hour each JUST to meet in this hellish flourescent-lit dungeon where cell reception enters a black hole and no natural light enters and there is no night nor no day nor no concept of time. This is hell(physical environment-wise) compared to other people's school.
SEE.
I think it's a miracle we can even do creative things here in such a monotonous environment. I think I've finally had enough of it this semester. I seriously need to get away; to get out of here. I still have to endure until Tuesday. Tomorrow once we are done I AM GETTING THE FUCK OUT OF THERE AS FAST AS MY LEGS CAN CARRY ME. THEN TUESDAY I WILL FINISH MY PRESENTATION AND GET THE FUCK OUT. I DUNNO HOW MUCH LONGER I CAN STAND THAT TIMELESS BLACK HOLE.
