Sitex day. Supposed to meet up with YM at Compass Point, but it was inauspicious for him to take public transport today. First it rained so he left later, and then he just missed the train and then the next train was delayed. Nevertheless, we managed to get there. I'd forgotten how crowded Expo could be. They were having 3 exhibitions all at once. A John Little Sale, Big Boys Toyz, and Sitex 2006.


Sitex was pretty good, lots of stuff to see. I nearly wanted to take part in a MapleStory Q and A quiz to get a poster which I could use to gloat at my sister. But I didn't. =P We also went into the Big Boys Toyz Exhibiton to take a look. Before you think of anything funny...the exhibiton consists of lots and lots of cars. C-A-R-S. Cars. Soooo many pretty cars...but my phone was low batt. Damn. =[


Judging from the ERP units present, these cars are owned and driven by people in Singapore. Like a Rolls-Royce and a Ferrari. Some have stuffed the back full of speakers, like in the US lol. YM spied a $800 drum set too. There was a TV set playing a real drift race in Japan. Totally cool. Hehs.


When his mum came, it was time to purchase his MacBook Pro. But, it was an inauspicious time to buy one. First there was some messup, during which many employees repeatedly apologised to his mum, and before she was about to pay, there was a power cut to the Apple booth. Hence had to wait some more. Finally at night, on MSN he told me that he totally didn't know how to use Apple. Hahahaha...
