Went out bowling today. Wasn't that pleasant. Both lanes beside us had n00bz. I DO NOT discriminate against people who hardly play. I call them so because they do not have basic courtesy. Since a noob is "someone who has played the game for a while but is not good at it", isn't it common sense to know when someone is bowling, you should wait? 2 people going at once distracts both of them.
So it's like I'm on the lane, and just as I take my first step, they rush on to the lane and bowl. Then I had to stop, and return to my starting position again. They also like to wander onto other people's lanes and such...They have an "Aura of Confusion" about them to befuddle people on other lanes.
I have decided to change my definition of bowling n00b. It is, as of now, someone who "behaves with bad etiquette on the lanes, and/or disturbs othes." Well, these n00bs despite having an "Aura of Confusion", they also have "DoubleShot", and (newly-discovered today!!!) "TripleShot" skills, along with LaneSteal. These skills have no other effect than to irritate and distract other people, and demonstrate their general lack of intelligence.
First of all, let me recount events as they happened. Well, a few lanes over were this group of Malay youths. They were shouting and screaming and sitting on the lanes, and making a nuisance of themselves. Later on, the manager came and talked to the two younger boys in the group, mentioning something about a "student pass".
Later they did TripleShot, which was something I had never seen before because most n00bz we saw were not so retarded. After one guy bowled, 2 guys bowled 2 balls into the lane after it. Hence, they hit the barrier which came down after the first ball went in, leaving 2 balls in the gutters. As the management came over to remove their balls (from the lane), another one of the idiots bowled another ball into the lane...
Later, after the lane next to us packed up to leave, they TOOK CONTROL of that lane. Somehow, that lane was not shut down, and still had the names of the previous bowlers, and they kept bowling there. I sure hope they're made to pay for the frames they bowled. =.= Cos now they were bowling next to us, and they just kept standing on the lane. Hello? The chairs are built there for a reason! Then comes the dangerous part.
Shawn bowled a very nice ball. Sweet-looking and all(high rev, nice hook, blah, blah). Hit the pocket(the right spot). 7-10 split. (Hardest spilt in the game) As he was like wtf-ing at the moment, one of the boys ran in front and slid on the floor infront of him. Whoa. You shoulda seen the look on his face. Total I'm-so-gonna-slaughter-you-you-little-prick-and-use-your-head-as-the-ball-RAWRRRR. As he walked back, he glared at that boy. If looks could kill, that kid would just be a smoldering patch of floor right now.
Thankfully our old coach was chating with us, and coach, me, and terence told him to relax. Shawn told me if coach weren't there, he'd have shoved the guy. He did it on me to demonstrate, and it hurt! Thanks goodness he didn't push that guy though. We were outnumbered. Haha. Where's Sixu and Siwei when you need them? They're our version of the Matrix's dreadlocked twins. Skilled in Wushu and Ninjado. Great guys.
Anyway, they bowled for a while, then another of our old coaches came along too! Cos we said those lanes might not be theirs, he asked them, but they said yes...=.= Anyway, they were such troublemakers, I think the management chased them out later. We requested to be shifted, so we shifted lanes waaaaay over to the other side. Peace, quiet, and no n00bz. Until later. But those that came later were waaaay better than those loutish boys...even though they did a DoubleShot once. Geniuses.
