Forget

Forget
Cherish what you have now, this is what it's gonna be.
Forever.
Forget all your hopes and dreams, forget all your wishes.
Figments of your imagination, illusons of reality.
This is how it's gonna be, it can't go forward, only back.

Keep it this way, and it'll be ok.
Dreams fade into nothingness, wake up to the harsh reality.
As the bright light stabs into your eyes, you know it can never be.
You wish so hard, no matter how possible it seems,
in the end, it is all a dream.

Yet it is so hard to forget.
forget what you once thought,
forget what you once wished.
And still nothing can change the stark painful realization,
and you have to accept it.
Sadness rules the world.

Decided to try taking the bus to my JC today. 45 cent LRT ride of one stop, to the no. 89 busstop. Figured out I should probably ride to school...haven't used my bike in a long while. Took about 20 mins to get there, but I hit the button too late, and I get to get off at the next stop. Nevermind. As I got off, I watched an 89 leave from the opposite bus. More waiting. That's how life is. You wait. And you wait. And you wait. But what you want hardly ever comes. Sat there in the scorching heat for about 20 mins. I was grateful for the shelter of the busstop. Strangely, there was quite a strong wind blowing. I sat there, and watched the heat waves rise off the asphalt, and the trees rustle reluctantly in the heat. Watching people. Watching traffic. The bus eventually came, and the air-conditioned inside was a relief. Not too cold, not too warm. Sat there, watching the world roll by. It felt really peaceful and calm. There were very little vehicles on the highway, so it was pretty quiet too...just the trees, and the fields of grass. I felt so at peace. In transit, away from the rigors of school, and the boredom of home. Just me, myself and the bus. As the bus approached sengkang, I watched the neighbourhoods go by. The playgrounds, the sculpted gardens, the blocks. So many familiar places Compassvale Sec, where I attended Chinese B lessons for a couple of months, before choosing to be exempt XD. And of course Compass Point. In my secondary school days, there was hardly a week when I did not visit Compass Point at least once. I took the LRT home there after school, went there for dinner on weekends...I HAD to go there whenever I wanted to take the MRT. Also the busstop outside, where I used to take the bus to Pasir Ris or East Coast *flash of anger* with my class for BBQs or chalet. Times have passed so quickly, and we ar all going to separate JCs(or polys) remaining in contact electronically, or not at all even. Which reminds me, Gina you ps me go buy your wallet le. I nv ask my fren to go buy wif cos cos I dowan ps u leh! >:[ lol...anyway I'll see when it the next best time I can go get it...haixzs. Reached home at 2.25, exactly 1 hour after I set out. Riding my way to the busstop tomorrow...thats should give me sonme exercise everyday. =D
