Work. Usual. Didn't get much calls. =\ Packed week. Tuition tomorrow. After work, went City Hall to meet XW! Walked to the shuttle bus stop. It was 7 and luckily I knew they came at half hour intervals. =) Went to Funan IT Mall to walk about. I gave her one of the yummy delicious beancurd egg tarts I got from this place near my office. I'm going to buy one box for you guys next time. XW agreed it was nice!

Took the shuttle to Flyer and went in. Enjoyed the view and talked the entire ride. =) Once in the cabin, updated Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, and geotagged my tweet. So geek. LOL. Just trying out the different functions. It was a nice ride. =) While waiting for the shuttle bus, I saw a Hummer. Yeah. A frickin' Hummer. Hummer H2, civilian version of the American Humvee. In Singapore. It was badass. Can you imagine the U-turns this guy makes? And cornering? BIG badass. I totally wanted to take photos of/with it. It's like a car and a half wide.

It was some big shot because they even had security. Some guy in a black polo. Walkie-talkie: The car has been parked. Then I saw the door open and some guy stepped out and was escorted to the flyerg. Ever watch Zombieland? Yellow badass Hummer? That one. Wonder if it really has guns in the back too.

We went to Raffles City, and an amazing water sign. Zomg. These tiny shutters opened and closed at a really high speed to release streams of water drops that FORM WORDS. XW ended her stuff early today so I didn't go home to pick up my camera. Darn. And her camera ran outta batt. Maybe it's a bit wonky like my battery life sensor. Walked around and then I sent her home and took 43 back. Showered and dinner!

Didn't run today. Too lazy when I got home. Oh no...haven't run in a week le. Rar. Tues flyer, Wed tuition, Thurs work, Fri movie. RAR. See if I can squeeze it in on Friday. Cos of work and stuff, I have like 5 unread issues of Time mag. All my money going to waste. =.= Work as per usual today. This is a short week. Yay! =D Now what shall I do? Watch Big Bang Theory.

Went to Val's place in the morning for tuition. Left at 11 plus today. Stayed till 4pm then left. Nothing much. Sunday going, going, gone. Shawn passed me two Singapore Flyer tix. He and his GF were supposed to be going today but she fell sick and they expire on 31 Mar. I treated him one Macs meal (A single $10 note.) So I'm hoping to find someone to go with me, or else it'll really be a waste of the tickets (And my money!). But I have a feeling my $10 will be wasted. Sigh.

Sad that in my life, I can't think of anyone to ask along. =\ As in, single ones. Because if you ask anyone attached, there's a chance they might get the wrong idea, and their BF might go o_O - >:( - HULK SMASH! Ok actually in this category there's only one I can think of. I did ask my colleague but it sounds a little funny lah. =.= This leaves leaves attached girls I am close to, which means you guys. And since ben can't go, XW + tak hasn't replied, val won't be back until tonight, I'm $10 short and stuck with 2 flyer tickets worth $60 bucks that expire in 3 days. =.=

I came across something on Facebook the other day. You will never read this, but I just wanted to say I will never forgive you for what you did to me. And I will never know.

Today we had sudden breakfast! XW just happened to be in the neighbourhood (literally) so she asked ben and I if we wanted to have breakfast together. She picked us up and headed to Compass Point. Had breakfast for a while then left. Went home, stoned till about 2 then headed out.

Went to watch How To Train Your Dragon today. It was nice! The ending was all PEW PEW PEW KABOOSH! FWACKOOM! ROARRR. Liked it. After that went down to eHub at DT East to meet Braye. We went to the arcade to play! They uh, gave me the wrong change. So we went to try this Ford racing VROOM VROOM that I totally got owned like 30 seconds in. =.= Too realistic.

Then went to play Daytona, which I totally won the first time thanks to my precision handling. On easy mode. On advanced, ben won. I can't really drift properly. =\ On expert, NX somehow won thanks to...o_O When we crash-ended, we were like OMG she's first! This guy beside me played easy mode the somehow I got switched to easy mode too wth. And dammit I nearly defeated him except at the last stretch he overtook me WTH. =.=

Mario Kart was a dismal failure. JEEZ. Kids play this shit man. I was so far back I was alone. WTF. Steering oversensitive, turning radius larger that an ocean supertanker and sharp curves made it a very insanely confusing cartoony driving experience. =.=

Then played House of the Dead. One. Very tiring on the arms. =\ After that we had dinner at the food court and waited like 2 hours to play bowling. At least we had two games. I didn't do very good. Occasionally there were flashes of the skill once there, but I'm rusty. Need to start picking up spares properly. I took pictures! Too tired to upload. Tmr.

Work as per usual. Friday! Spent it at home though. Sob. I did OT again, because, well, it's kinda the best choice so whatever. Till 8PM on a Friday. Didn't go anywhere when I got home either. =\ Then went online.Watching How To Train Your Dragon tomorrow. It's the new It movie now. Haha. Seems nice. After that meeting Ben and Raye at eHub to go play bowling. She want to challenge me to arcade racing. o_O I'm a safe driver leh. And I do better at PSP racing. KNS the first time I played Daytona in M'sia it was totally BAD.

Having close friends puts a really big power in their hands. The power to hurt you really badly. But that's a risk we have to take.

Well. Work as per normal today. Read a lot of MLIA and LML. Yest read a lot of FML. Tomorrow is Friday which is exciting, simply because it is Friday. Yay! Still hoping to find excitement on the weekends. Will see what I can come up with. Unfortunately my sources of fun seem to be intent on following the curvature of a 1/x graph-going down, down, down, to (negative) infinity and beyond! More on that later.

Anyway Val asked me to come by her place since Ben was dropping by to pick up the Nexus One and I agreed. Then I realised I had agreed to go for dinner with my colleagues. Er. Damn. Either I have to run from place to place or invent a cloning machine in 6 hours. Or. I could just forfeit one. I chose the latter since the materials for making a functional clone were not easily available in the office. And seriously, I don't know how I'd deal with another me. LOL.

Becuase going to vals place meant reaching at 7 and then leaving a short while later, I opted to go home, shower and leave. Much more comfortable and relaxing. My clan in RoE has merged with the #1 clan in my realm so we are now officially awesome. Or part of it, at least. I am happier now but still hope to get my village back. That was a major freaking loss of points to me. =.= Now under the top clan's name, I feel safer and can try to build up more and keep strong.

Went to 313@Somerset. It's complicated but by going I'm also helping my colleague, so yeah, I guess that makes up for not being able to join val and ben. Dinner at Marche. $13.80! Cheapest Marche meal evar! For me at least. Porkloin and soup. Fantastic. Seriously watching my spending after I bought my lappy. Considering how I used to have (and sometimes still have) $50 meals, a $13.80 Marche is wow. $50 meals can range from a tall German beer and assorted Germanic delights, to an alcoholic drink and a few small sized tapas...


After dinner, got a sundae at Macs and went home. Work tomorrow. And well, XW pulled a tak on us. No offence there, tak. It's just...how I would describe the situation that's all. But seriously though, if you feel offended then tell me and I'll go think of a witty name for...this. =X De-friendment? De-friendestration? Nice.

On the bright side...at least she informed us about it first. So yeah. The gist of the sms convo I had with ben was so how? Like that lor. We'll deal with this and carry on as per normal. Like its all fine and dandy. Hey we've been though this rollercoaster once already right? It sure as hell beats the shit out of the one at Universal Studios. That one pulls Gs and makes you blow chunks. This one pulls nerves and makes everyone blow up.

So yeah. I suppose there's a good reason for it, so y'all just do whatever y'all want then. Then we'll try to sort things out later. One Facebook group goes: I'm done trying to be in your life. Naturally my first reaction was [WHOA TOTAL DEJA VU - sth happened to tak then to xw and I was blogging about it] surprise, disappointment, and dejection. Contrary to my jokes and witticisms, I am an actual human capable of feeling negative emotions. NO SRSLY? Chu stunt again? Ok lor. To rationalise, there probably was a valid reason for her to do something like this, but when we do this kinda shit to each other. Man. Pretty much I think our friendship won't be affected by this, but currently it's sitting (quite steadily, I might add) on the fence between Not Cool and This Sucks. Maybe sometimes the grass isn't greener on the other side. Maybe it's just a little less dead. I am rambling at 2am. =.=

Yeah. We'll just see how this goes. And go on as per normal. Actually we did speak to XW just a little bit on MSN earlier. (Sssh...don't let you-know-who see this or her cover's blown!) Just FYI, when it's my turn to pull this stunt, I won't delete you all cos it's gonna be damn troublesome to add back lah. And I call dibs on the line: "It's not you. It's me."! Work, as per usual. Then tuition. 1st Apr going NUS for medical. I was gonna apply 1 day. Maybe sleep at val's then go down NUS. My...sorta superior sorta convinced me not to waste it but to attend work in the morning then go NUS and work late so I dun need to use leave. Uh. Okay I guess. Guess that plan is scrap now. =\ I'm going to bring another set of clothes. I'm not going NUS in work attires. So many slopes and stuff. =S Feeling a little sleepy. Tomorrow is Thursday!

I'm going to try and download something awesome on my computer. Don't tell you all what it is. Only ben knows. It will blow your socks off once we get it working. Lol. Today, work as usual. Less calls. Mon was actually not as bad as I expected, which was a blessing I guess. I woke up not feeling very tired today. I slept at 1 plus, but I guess I've reactivated my old cheat-sleep method. I set the alarm at time = t. Snooze it till t+n where n>0

I used to let n=5. I would wake up, hit snooze, and that extra 5 mins would seem really long in the tran-sleep zone. Now my iPhone's snooze is 10 mins, its lovely. It seems to jerk you out of sleep, let you settle into a more comfortable light sleep zone, and yank you out again feeling not rudely awakened and less tired.

After work, went for another run again. Came home, online. Tomorrow is Wed! Damn I forgot to give homework. I keep forgetting...

Also, they seem to be asking me to work 8-5. Er. Okay. This would totally suck because given my totally incurable habit of staying up late, this just means I'll not not get enough sleep and spend 1 hour extra stoning each evening. RAR. Don't tell me to change my schedule because I WON'T. I'm 21 and I have a LIFE. Maybe for you working adults its ok to slowly shift and sleep an hour earlier, but I have Facebook and friends and shit. I don't do sleeping earlier. I get my fill of socialising and then sleep.

Meh. When that time starts, I'm probably going to die. =.=

The RoE thing is bugging me. A little messed up. I have a feeling I'm going to be attacked. Just get it over with. I've held off counter attacking because I've tried to contact his clan but news has not been forthcoming. Sigh. Oh well, when it's over, one less thing to worry about. I think the only game I'll stick to from now on is Mousehunt. Getting weary of FB games. Furthermore they'll only take away my time in uni.

Life seems to be settling down into a routine, with the opening of school and my new job. Weekdays work, go home, online, repeat x5, Weekends go out try to find whatever fun I can with people studying still and then Mon comes along. Need to bear with this till August. Also...I just realised I signed contract till 31 July. What about all the pre-uni admin stuff and camps? Gee. =\ I might have to end early. Somehow. When does all these activities begin?

Came home kinda tired, thanks to last night attack. Slept at 1 plus. I lost 1 village. I think I just wanna sleep till close to 10 and go online from then on.

PS. I just got invited to my friend's 21st. First of this year. Either everyone I know (that remembers me) has very late birthdays, or I have a serious social circle problem going on here.

PPS. Self-deprecating humour, or just self-deprecating? A little bit of both, I guess, if that's possible.

Someone's attacking me in Realm of Empires! =( I never really like PVP fights, not this protracted.(First attack landing in 4 hours.) Sigh. Furthermore on a Monday morning. But I really have to sleep and go to work. Smart or coincidence? I don't know how the outcome is going to be. I'm requesting support from my clan. I hope we drive him off. In any case if the worst occurs, I can comfort myself by saying 1, it's a game, 2, I was reaching the peak and gameplay was slowing down. 3, I'll have one less thing to worry about, 4, it was a game well played. (By ME, duh.)

Gosh. While I love my empire as much as the next king, and really put in time and effort, it was not a lot of excruciating time and effort and it provided quite some enjoyment for me in the end so at least the journey was fun. Tomorrow's going to look real bad. That, and its Monday.

Wanted to meet up with Xw today but then because bel was asleep, had to delay till they picked me up at 1245, not 1030. =( Thus dragged until something came up at home and Xw couldn't go out. Bummer. =( Went tuition, stayed at val's place. She left to settle stuff and I amused myself for the afternoon by going on one of those addictive chain-link sites that results in me opening a gabillion tabs. Ben came. Then Val returned. Stayed till 11, then she sent us home and bought us prata on the way back. =)

Tomorrow will be hell. I've over 20 pending cases (I hate unfinished business), leftover tasks to get back to people on from Sat (=.=), there's bound to be non-stop calls because our ads are on Mondays, a lot of people to call, a lot of people to chase for payment, and my villages are under attack. Geez. Life's hectic enough already. I should just quit FB games and stay home and watch movies. Less stress, more doing nothing.

Nearly went crazy at work earlier. Can't remember how many calls I answered this week but it is a lot. OT for the whole or Thurs and also today means I spent almost 2 full days in the office this week. I started to get really annoyed when the phone rang. Last night, I went with YM and Shawm and his GF to have supper at Jalan Kayu. Nostalgia. The bus stop where I used to take 103 into camp and the long walks in, time and time again.

It's not something I miss, you understand but after making that journey in so many times twice a week for so long, it gets imprinted on you. How much of your life and time wasted there. Anyway the curry that came with the prata was really bad and watery. Went to Shawn's GF's house to play Wii. Played some silly wrestling game and then Mysims Racing. Lol! I got second! Returned home and slept at 3.

Came down to work, opened up the place, and sat there. Really all sorts of things happened today. Someone who was supposed to collect her cert last year came in =.=, I had walk-ins, someone whom I think was waiting for an interview, the printer ran out of toner....zzz. I had to call other people for phone numbers and to help me find stuff. Also, a LOT of multitasking. Answering a call while looking for cert, following by calling Joanna and unlocking the projector room.

So much stuff happened and it was only 10am. Dragged all the way till 230pm. I was only supposed to stay till 1. But someone came and was using the office so I couldn't feasibly up and leave in any way. As time passed and the calls came in my mood became progressively worse and worse until I was in a positively foul mood when I left. Good grief I was probably going to cry or something if I sat there another hour.

Even the curiosities of online sites like Oddee and Geekologie slowly lost their appeal. When I first came I opened like over 20 tabs. Twice. Now, I was slowly closing them one by one. Sitting there, getting a call every few mins, interrupting my reading. Listening to the same few questions over and over again in different orders. Trying to decipher what some of them were jabbering. Lack of sleep and overwork contributed to a very very unhappy me.

I was half mad from wanting to leave the place. But I couldn't. -Sob- Then after that I had no place to go. Val was in NUS and XW hardly replied my texts. I did consider going to NUS, but it was kinda far. XW was also having a bad week I guess. She also didn't reply my last message. So I went home. This being alone thing, sometimes it's a real pain you know. Even if you've lived with it for 21 years.

Never made a significant impression in anyones' life, ever. To be a major part of someone's life. A good friend, at most but no more. That's what you give and thats what you get in return. Sometimes, you have to admit the returns aren't what you'd like them to be. That more favourable terms of 'emotional returns' are only available with a certain type of plan. Currently unavailable to the subscriber, you. You don't sign up for them, you will never experience the investment returns others get to enjoy. Ever. Something I haven't gotten. Never made enough of a difference for anyone to majorly care about me. Aw shit.

So I went home. I hadn't eaten since morning, except for a puny pack of 6 biscuits I kept in my drawer for instances such as these. And had a small styrofoam cup of Milo. I reached home at about 330 I guess. Cooked a bowl of noodles. FBed, watched some YT to try to entertain myself. What do you do when you feel really shitty and there's no one to talk to? Sleep. God knows I need it. Slept really little for the past two weeks. Slept from 5 plus till close to 10. Woke up, and ate a little. Thought I'd find some entertainment online. WELL YOU THOUGHT WRONG DUMBASS. Val's studying in school, and not in the best of moods. XW has disappeared into the 9th dimension via sms again, and surprisingly ben is not online. What to do? SLEEP.

Screw this. This weekend sucks. What a complete waste.

Work. Friday. Surprisingly quite a few calls today. =( I spammed coffee this morning. Two cups of mocha. Calls, calls. Signed up quite a few people. Gosh. Now got so many unfinished cases. Need to wait for them to pay. I hate unfinished busiess.... Was damn glad when work was over. Felt free for the first time this week. After OT last night. MY week is over. Sort of. OT tomorrow morning till afternoon again. So many cases. This is such a long week. Roar. Going Jalan Kayu for supper later. Tomorrow afternoon wonder if I can meet anyone in town or something after I get off work. Heh. I shold bring my hard drive to watch BBT.

I know my blog entries have been rather boring and run-of-the-mill as of late (as if they weren't before) but by the time I get home, I'm simply too tired to put a lot of effort into them. I sleep late, wake up early, and did OT. I can't really think that much. I feel like I should write more but the juice is not flowing. Hmm.

Kinda sleepy. Zz. Slept at 1 plus last night, then someone called in sick last min today. =.= I did OT till 10. Ok I guess. Extra $ at least. Work as usual, then stayed back past 6 to man the office (roar) till 10. People were having classes. Still quite a few calls. =\ Finally the classes ended and I closed up shop. Man, the lifts sure are really loud and noisy when you're alone on the floor at night. Back to work tomorrow morning again...

Home. Ran again today. Didn't feel I exerted as much as I did before. Strange. Oh well. Work as usual, but much better today. However I should be working this Sat morning. Tomorrow is Wed. Got tuition but at least half the week will be over! Can't wait for the weekend. Lol. Probably run again on Thurs. Probably going to get around to find my iTunes artwork. ROAR. I think it didn't get transferred from my iPhone. But it transferred okay to XW when I copied from hard disk. =\ Need to find out how to fix it.

Today I was swamped at work omg. The morning was a killer. Early in the beginning of the week, wham wham wham. Call after call after call. It was a non-stop flood. Furthermore, I had a computer problem that caused me to be unable to enter the system until I contacted our IT guys. Troublesome. =.= Eventually got it working though, and then it was business as usual. Came home, wanted to sleep. Went for a run, then had dinner. Too full to sleep. Continued installation of stuff into my new laptop. Only need to transfer my songs over for it to be complete. =)

Will wait for MS Office 2010 release to get it. And Probably get the latest version of Photoshop from Ben. Industrial Design, here I come!

Tied. Got a headache from lack of sleep. Meh. Not enough sleep on the weekdays, cause I stay up late, then I also stay up late on the weekends. I slept at 3 plus last night to set up my new laptop, then woke up at 10 to go for tuition at val's place. After tuition, headed down to watch Green Zone as PS with YM and the twins.

Unfortunately I was so tired I actually slipped into sleep a few times for a few seconds during the movie. =( Definitely need to get more rest. After that they left for home and I went back to vals place. Got a little lost but found my way to the bus stop to take bus to her place. Had dinner, ordered pizza and had Maggi mee. Gosh. Ben came but Xw couldn't make it. =( Came home. Going to try and sleep earlier tonight...

IT Fair. New laptop. Left in the afternoon, made my way down. Really crowded. Worst place for zombie invasion. Ever. Squeeze-queueed up to the 6th floor to meet braye and her mum. She had already gotten her lappy. We went upstairs to hunt for some stuff she wanted but couldn't find it. One of the escalators was down, so the entire seething mass of humanity had to migrate to the only working one. At least there was no chaos. (Not until later.)

We redeemed lucky draw coupons upstairs and proceeded to make paper offerings to the Lucky Draw God's Lucky Draw Box. =D Then went down, entered the Toshiba booth. I slowly considered, and finally decided to get the Toshiba over the HP. Specs are similar so here's the list of differences.

HP is nice and small and light and a tablet-touchscreen (OMG!!!) BUT it's small. So...working on it might be a little tricky. Plus if I get a small new laptop and have a 15" clunky old one it'll be...er....=\ Functionality is impressive but at least the Toshiba has a touchscreen. I can get a capacitative stylus and use it as a tablet. That can't swivel. Even now I'm trying to get used to the 14" screen. It's as wide as my old one, but shorter. Well at least the resolution is higher too.

Got the Toshiba, went to make my own offering to the Lucky Draw God. 1 piece at a time scattered around the perimeter of the box. Some people dumped the whole stack in. Without faith! Without commitment to the Lucky Draw spirit! So lazy. you must spearate your tickets. Naturally stuck together, they will sink to the bottom.

After that, went down to the 2nd floor where Xw met up with us, and we redeemed our stuff from the Toshiba counter before heading for dinner at Kenny Rogers. Someone from a brokerage firm doing a road show approached us and we signed up for a free account with them. Cool. Could this be a sign? Hmm. Oh and I had deja vu again. I think I really can see the future in my dreams. Seriously. =X

Work as usual. Unusually hectic, considering it was a Friday. Was quite busy throughout. The weekend is here! Later will possibly be going to watch Green Zone with the guys. Not confirmed since it depends on YM's book out time. =/ After that helping XW queue for tickets to Super Junior's concert. =.=

Originally she had like 10 people willing to queue, so she promised her friend. Then they backed out at the last minute so she needs at least 4 or 5 people to help queue. I roped in one of my friends who says he's only doing it to help me so that's good, considering he's the only one who can make it. Going to pack my bag later. Water bag, jacket, field chair, laptop and accessories, etc. Pity my laptop battery is in really bad shape. Probably will last all of two hours. Charging my iPhone to full batt now. Considering sleeping bag. I have a four man tent! 12AM till 10AM tomorrow.

They better really pay me! I most likely will be live tweeting and blogging from the event. Lol.

Hmm. Tomorrow is Friday. Yay! Haha. Today at work was okay. Met Ben and Val after work. I waited for nearly an hour at Bugis MRT because Val didn't tell me she would be late. =( Went to NYDC for dinner. sat there for quite a quite and talked. Then headed home. Watched Chuck Ep8! work again tomorrow, then going home for dinner. After that, watch movie with the guys. That's about it for now I guess. Time to go to sleep. Sure yawn again tomorrow. LOL.

Man I'm tired. Yesterday worked whole day till 6, then went for OT cos they wanted me to. Till 10 plus. Got home at 11 or so. Slept at 1 plus. Woke up at 750, work today, then went down to Val's place for tuition. Reached at about 7. Her dad bought food, I had dinner till about 730. Taught her till 930 plus. Left at 10pm. Two long days. My run is overdue. Next earliest date might be Friday.

Today at work was ok. I'm glad tomorrow is Thurs. Closer to the weekend. And Casual Friday. Hahaha. It finally rained today. Thank heavens. Literally. Weather's been horrible lately. Meeting Ben Val and possibly XW for dinner(?) tomorrow after work. Yay. Going down to IT fair on Sat, look and quite possibly get a new laptop. Mine is painfully slow. I think I shall go to bed now.

I'm having problems logging into Country Story again. Sigh. I should really quit this crappy game. When it keeps on having these recurring connection problems, it's obvious the game quality is severely lacking in this area. I don't get why people are still so forgiving. IT SUCKS when you can't connect!

Waited for everyone to take the test. Bored. Everyone came out and book their lesson slots. Busy. Hectic. Sigh. On the job practice. Think it was ok. Haven't done it before. Did till about 10 plus. Waited for cab, took it to Serangoon with one of the permstaff. charged that to the company. Thank goodness. Had dinner at 2325. I refused to eat outside. got dinner at home. Work tomorrow. Gah.

Ouh noes! I have got nothing to do! Today at work was okay. There's a new girl. Well, not really new. More of, standing-in-for-someone-while-that-someone-goes-on-holiday-new. Her name is Sarina. Also not really new because she came last week and I didn't get the chance to say hi. Other than that, work was as per usual.

You'll never believe how many places in Singapore are fun to traverse on Google's Street View. I visited the cemeteries at Lim Chu Kang. =D Today I also read about lighthouses in Singapore on Wikipedia. Did you know in Bedok there is a lighthouse situated on top of a 25 storey apartment block? Neither did I.

Came home after work...nothing else to do. Not many people online yet. Movie time I guess. Tomorrow I'm going down to Redhill after work. -Sigh- Supposedly to learn more about what I do. I already know what I do, I just don't have all the required experience to deal with all eventualities. That takes time.

Somehow they sometimes think I know nothing at all, when I actually have had 3 months experience working in a call centre. The pay was much less, though the environment was...more fun. Just too bad it's damn far. And...I'm regaining my skills again! Multitasking better than before, (Though not at full potential yet.) typing faster, memorising numbers short-term faster. Just once glance to split a phone number into 2, tap it out on the phone, delete from memory, repeat.

What shall I watch tonight?

Woke up at close to 12. Had breakfast. Watched HIMYM with XW. Nothing to do, nowhere to go. Sigh. Watched the Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. It is seriously... Not as much of an acid trip as Alice in Wonderland, but pretty WTH. My friend who watched it when it came out told me: "No wonder Heath Ledger go and commit suicide while filming this movie. It's totally siao one."

I think without reading the summary on IMDB, it would be pretty hard to get the story. I know I did. LOL. Went for a run. Watched Casablanca. It was nice! There's just something about watching classic films. I know a lot of people won't give it a try, and I don't blame them but it is such a pity because it really is a very interesting movie. It follows the overwrought Hollywood convention but still manages to be great. After that...going to bed. Work tomorrow.

Damn pissed off now. I wanted to get a hair cut at Compass Point, and was going to go with Shawn cos he wanted one too. Was going to meet at 515pm. I knew he'd be late. He is very nearly always late. I can only remember one occasion in the recently in which he actually waited for me, instead of the other way around. Well, so i took my time.

At 520, I was on the train to CP when he called me. He asked me to go have dinner first because he's going to be late. Apparently his gf is having some issues and he need to send her to tuition and what not. WALAO INFORM ME EARLIER LA. If you know something is going to crop up, and the other party is always punctual (well, more punctual than you at any rate) then at least have the decency to inform them appropriately. They don't use the same timezone as you: GMT+LATE. =.=

SO I went all the way to Compass Point, and took the return train back. Honestly. what am I going to for an hour at Compass Point? =.= So. 50 mins to go. I am going to call him and tell him I am leaving my place to confirm he will be there and to make sure nothing else is going to come up. =.=

Didn't do much today. Long-awaited weekend finally rolls around and suddenly I realise I don't have much to do...movies I guess. Saving BBT for my daily commute.

After my haircut went down to vivo to meet ym and Sixu. Had dinner at Brotzeit. Theres goes 50 bucks. Then after that went to PS to cathc From Paris With Love. Haha. It was a nice show. Both funny and exciting. liked it a lot. Not bad. Dunno what to do tomorrow.

My first thought when I woke up today was: TGIF. =) Yay for casual Friday. I really don't like wearing shirts. Work was ok. A little busy at times. I wanted to charge my phone at work today, so I brought the plug. Guess what I forgot to bring? My cable. =.= SO I managed to keep it alive till about 7pm from 13% at 9 in the morning. Thats was switching off 3G, GPS, and using it as little as possible. Lol.

After work, went to meet Val at City Hall. She needed to go Flyer tocollect stuff so we went. We waited damn long for the bus, which only comes at half-hour intervals. =.= I also took a really long circuitous route to get there. Plus jam. I felt really bad cos I was supposed to meet my colleague Anna but went for this first. Sitting at the bus stop, I noticed a Porsche and a cab stopped in the lane next to it. From that special angle. It looked like the TAXI sign was on top of the Porsche. Damn cool le! Hahahaha. DAMN. My iPhone was dead, couldn't take photo. ARGH. Would've been cool.

After flyer, walked to Marina Sq to meet Anna and her bf. Wanted to watch Alice in wonderland, but cos me and val didn't mind 2nd from the front seat but they did, we ended up watching different shows. They watched the new Jack Neo movie...which we weren't really interested it. After that wanted to call Xw to hang out but no answer. So went home. =(

Today is going to be a pretty serious and personal blog post. I don't intend for it to offend anyone, but am merely expressing my personal opinion. I have always thought of writing this. A few times, in fact. I have thought of it and often decided it was not worth the effort. But I really feel I have to say it out now. I have to say how I feel about certain issues. I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY dislike it when people make sexist statements. Broad, general, sweeping statements about the opposite gender, be it guy or girl. It gets on my nerves. A lot.

Beside guys or girls, both sexes have their flaws. We are ALL human. Pretty much none of you are fucking saints. That goes for me as well. That gives none of us the right to makes such comments against the entire opposite gender. Naturally, sexist comment against girls are taboo (in most places). But then again, so should comments against guys. All guys are pigs. All guys are liars. Lovely, innit? It unfairly encompasses all of us into one general derogatory sentence.

I practice what I preach, so I never make any kind of sexist comments at all, which is why I so greatly dislike such actions. It really gets to my nerves why as people, when we can't get along enough already, we have to hate the opposite sex. C'mon, they share then other 50% (or so) of the world with us (kind of). You may think I'm exaggerating, but I genuinely feel hurt. Especially when such remarks are made by one of my close friends. People have their pet peeves. I guess this is one of mine.

Even though I'm speaking from the point of view of someone who has never been in a relationship before, I feel unfairly lumped together with all the rest of the assholes who give us a bad name. The criminals, the murderers, the rapists, the cheaters, the playboys. Look at me in the face. And tell me. Do I deserve to be one of them then? I don't know why, but I really am affected by this. It just is.

As someone who has always been your friend, tried to give you encouragement for your studies and tried to make life easier for you through the good and bad times. Thanks. There's no need to respond to this, I'm just a 'sperm donor'. BTW, this is not a honest and open declaration of anything. I will still try and be your friend. Your friendship does mean a lot to me. Unfortunately, I'm just a sperm donor to you.

Today was a much better day. Less business. Could relax a bit. It was quite ok. Tomorrow is Friday! Weekend's coming! Yay. Casual Friday. Haha. Came home and went for a run. I need a good rest. Today is quite okay. Until I saw the thing above on Fb. Yeah. I just feel maligned. That's all. Sigh.

Nothing much going on now. Not a lot of people are online and nothing much going on in FB. Wondering if I should slp now and catch some shut eye. I need it. After burning my weekend and taking this job straight after, I also have been sleeping late the past few days, and going to work with 6 or so hours of sleep. Plus, I've also gone running twice this week.

ARGH DAMMIT WTF. I can't connect to FB AT ALL. I dunno why but it's ONLY FB. WTH la! Can't load the page but other pages can! I don't understand it at all! This probably means its not my internet. Other people have no problems with Facebook, SO WHY CAN'T I LOGIN??? =.= Oh wait it's back up. But I don't know for how long. I'm bloody irritated. Xw laso having problems. It's so strange! =.=

FB KEEPS GIVING ME ERROR MESSAGES RAR.

Today at work was okay. I handled quite a few calls but most were ok. See, 3rd day and I'm pretty ok already. I brought toys! It's fun to have something to fiddle with on your desk. Haha. Kinda relaxing. and tomorrow is Thurs. Weekend is coming! Can't wait. Plus people's exams are coming to an end! =D Other that that, today was uneventful. I'm slowly picking up the skills of multitasking (better than I could before), keeping track of various issues at once, typing faster, memorising and dialing phone numbers faster. All useful skills I used to have before I went into army. =.=

Day 2. Okay. I kinda miss CrimsonLogic. Not that here's a bad place, but the Chinese is a pain in the ass. and the content is really quite confusing. Software I can deal with, but this scheduling and booking of timeslots I can't do because I have no password! Furthermore, we offer a huge variety of courses and a wide array of services so sometimes I get call that I really cannot handle. Right now I'm learning the basic but when they call they can be asking about absolutely anything under the sun (of our courses), stuff that only experience can answer.

It's not that I want to transfer calls but if the customer wants to speak to the girl who spoke to her earlier then? Besides, that person is most likely to have her records and registered her what. =.= And workers from China. Sometimes they speak so fast and with that accent, I really don't understand what the ching chong they are talking about. Totally incomprehensible, furthermore its over the phone.

Then I got a call before i was about to leave. Had no idea it was about 6. Anna asked me to transfer to Jocelyn cos i was leaving. Someone asked me to register the person as experience. I registered two people le! I know how to write on carbon copy in triplicate! I don't even have my login for the system so I can't use my com to add them to the database anyway. Anna saved me and just asked me to transfer. I know how how to ask for your birthday in ching chong. I just can't handle the more intricate question about the system , and sometimes I just don't understand some words they use. =(

First day at work. Work where I'll be for the next 4 months. It's alright I guess, quite a nice place. Only I'll probably have to speak mainly Chinese when dealing with customers. But I'll just take it as an opportunity to practice I guess. See, we're offering English lessons to those with lesser advantages in the work force. It's pretty similar to what i was doing at CrimsonLogic, but hard in the sense that I have to pick up completely different content and their system is a little confusing.

Still, today my email wasn't set up, so I just listened and tried to pick up the ropes. I hope I'll get used to it soon enough. Think I'll start picking up calls tomorrow. The procedures I understand, just that it's mostly in Chinese over the phone. =S Might need some getting used to. A bit weird to think, I've got work tomorrow. And the day after. And the day after. And the day after. Best not to think about it. Furthermore, I burned my weekend last week le. =(

Most of my colleagues are quite mature(i.e. older than us), with the exceptions of Anna, through which I got this job in the first place. Over lunch, it is a little disconcerting to hear them talk about bowls and plates and other stuff your mother-in-law gives you when you get married. Two of them are married. (Married married, not to each other married.) and it is a little scary to think that a part-time job for you is the ACTUAL job of working adults. Well, I finally have my own table, which I didn't have in CrimsonLogic, and internet and FB too, so that part's good.

Ah, well, another day of work tomorrow. I can't wait for the weekend! I've had two weeks of work! =( And the girls haven added me on Fb yet...

Day 4! Pretty much the same as Day 3. Except for one thing. I asked the girls for a photo. =D Haha. After looking after their bags for the past few days (not that I minded) it's the least they could do. =P Pity the guy didn't let my iPhone focus properly. As with the first photo with 2 of the girls. =( The girls brought camera but I hope they actually can find and add me on FB like they said they would. Because I only know 2 of their names, and I can't find them. I think. The iPhone's camera is actually quite decent, but when unfocused...=(

930, managed to pack everything up by 10 or so...then brought everything back to the office, unloaded it all, brought some stuff to the van, and went to the storage place (They rent a room to store stuff.) and loaded more stuff into the van before I was sent home. Got home at 12, sweaty and tired. And I totally forgot my last meal was at 3. got work tomorrow. I better go sleep.
