I'm sleepy. Slept at like 5am last night. Then nearly overslept. I nearly forgot I was going to watch Law Abiding Citizen. I woke at 845, then went back to sleep and woke at 10am. Hmm...something wasn't right. OH! The movie! Thank goodness it was still early. I left to go collect the tickets. Met Sixu and had Subway. YM joined us later.
The movie was...cool in a certain sense, but not exactly what I expected. They didn't show how exactly he did all those cool stuff, but some of it is a little too overblown I guess. Was very tired on the way back. Forgot to charge my iPhone! But it managed to last the entire trip. Came home...now I'm bored. Going back in is....irritating. Almost to the end. 10 days! And...I guess I might...go to bed now?
UPDATE
---
RAH. This is annoying. Tues, I have an interview at 3 at Alexandra. I also have driving at 11-1230. So...I'm stuck! Making the 1 hour journey home won't get me there in time, but taking the direct bus down will leave me there quite early. But...okay if I throw in like 15 min or so for walking and/or waiting, I guess I can be there all right. Maybe I bring clothes to change too. Need to start finding my old work stuff. Shoes and the bag.
Musing, rants and observations from life around me. May contain a lack of verisimilitude.

Woke up, FBed a bit, went driving. Was quite alright I guess. Haha. I start driving like I already own the car...trying to do funny stuff like trying to tag along behind the bus and beat the green light. =.= (while turning right) Should be more careful next time. Real-life driving is for real-life.
Got home, ate and then left for tamp to meet ben and raye. Bought Stasia's gift, a Wii. (Whee! Wee! Still can't beat the iPad...hahaha), then wrapped it in (half a roll(?) of duct tape) before going down to downtown. (Pun unintended.) Reached, and passed her the gift. She was playing Wii nonstop for a few hours! Hahaha. I see the making of a legendary gamer. Unfortunately, she didn't really display the amazing 1337 pWnz0r skillz in game, like I expected. But that could be atttributed to the new console and interface. Just give her a few days.
I still find it amazing she was playing L4D and Halo years before this. and she's only 6! Hung about for a while, played http://www.nooooooooooooooo.com/ a few times, read explosm.net, and watched ben and his bro play Blackshot, before leaving at about 11. Oh, and back home in Mousehunt I finally was able to collect my fixed Mousoleum map, buy curds and whey on the way(pun STILL unintended), buy crafting ingredients at the bazaar and training grounds, craft new cheese, and acquire 2 master shards. It's a long and complicated process that involved calculating exactly how much of each ingredient I needed to buy to craft everything. Lol. (DAMN still haven got the last shard!)

Quite tired when I woke up today. But considering I slept at 2 or so...took the train down to Harbourfront. It was freezing. Then again I was clad in just PT kit and the army FBTs. I felt terribly exposed. Both phyically, and in the STOMP sense. Lol. Got on the bus down to Labrador Park. Using lots of resources, (gothere.sg, my iPhone's Maps and Street View), I was able to reasonably be sure of where to get off. Haha. Then prepared for the long walk in...
But then CPT A was driving in then, so he stopped to give me a ride. Um...I wasn't and am not a huge fan of his, but I'm grateful for that though. Didn't reach late. It's pretty damn far in. =.= Then the usual pre-run stuff, and ran. It was alright I guess. It's actually a pretty interesting place. I'd admire the history of the stuff there, except I'd prefer not to be panting and sweating heavily while I'm doing so. If it's a nice walk, sure. Sea view was interesting though. Lol.
Went HarbourFront KFC for breakfast, discussed ORD phones, then went home. think some of them went to watch movie. I wanna watch Law Abiding citizen. Lol. Came home, FBed, then went job hunting. Searched for quite a bit. Phew i'm tired. Sigh. Dunno how many hours I sat there and looked through jobs and filled in lines and sent out applications. Need a break.
Been progressing well in RoE. Wish money would come faster though, but I'm expanding well. Thinking of building up my buildings first(Hurry up!) and then expanding my army. The scary part is PVP though. I'm still under protection but it expires 5 days after you join. So have to build up fast. I hope i'm isolated enough to just set up my little area. I'm at the very edge of the map. Not very into PVP, but I don't mind hitting NPCs.

Man, feeling kinda tired now. Today was quite a bad day. Dammit. Just on a day when I had to come back. I think nothing good every happens when...
Theory of When Nothing Good Happens
1)When you're the minority in camp
2)When you have to come back for just ONE day
3)When everyone is booking out then
1-When you're the minority, any flying shit/arrow hits all of you and is distributed resulting in a larger quantity per person. =.=
2-This JUST happens. No reason why.
3-When everyone is booking out, it's like Na'vi open season. HAHAHA DEFENCELESS BLUE PEOPLE RATATATATATATA BLAM BLAM BLAM.
Starting from the beginning...was lying in bed resting, (ok fine, I was about to sleep.) when the door opened. Saw someone in green. Was wondering who it was. Put on my specs HOLYSHIT it's the Emperor knockin' at our door. (He was pretty much inside our room at this point.) He asked me not to sleep and waste my life but surf internet of go read a book. Err. Okay.
Went lunch, came back. Found out ALL the mess coms are spoilt. (So much for internet huh?) Wow. One more reason to be glad I'm going. As the days go by, this place gives me more and more reasons to be happy to leave. Haha. In bunk, a little bird told us Vader would be coming by. We set about tidying up the place. While we went about this -cue Imperial March- Vader swept in. Together with one of his Minions, packing a camera. Say it together with me. WHATTHEF*CK?! Yes. So his minion was commanded to take photos of the state of the room.
DUDE. I KNOW YOU F*CKING LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY, BUT ISN'T THIS CARRYING IT A LITTLE TOO FAR? AND YOU JUST SNAPPING SHOTS OF OUR BUNK LIKE THAT. WTF. THIS IS WHY THIS PLACE IS MESSED UP. HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF I BURST INTO YOUR ROOM AND STARTED TAKING PICTUREs OF ALL YOUR SHIT MAN.
Oh yes Vaderforce chok knocked us down. First time in like 1year 3 month since I've had to do it. =.= He says we did so because we failed to still the room and greet him. Well, he didn't give us much time in the first place. When you're a big shot bursting into people's rooms with a minion and taking pictures of their shit, you have to allow some time for them to react, you know? =.=
We figured it was still because the bunk was kinda messy. So I guess we gotta clean the bunk for the next (might I add, less than) two weeks we're sleeping in it, which will then be abandoned for the next few months. Brilliant. Then he said we should make better use of our time, like cohesion. GREAT. YES. Why not, let's all go on cohesion from morning itll night, then book in to sleep? I don't mind. Staying here only exposes us to shit, even when we're not doing anything.
It's not frickin' safe. Think next week gotta hide somewhere in camp already. Lucky I'm leaving the Grand Army of the Republic. Find a rebel moon base to hide out on first. See what I mean about this place giving me more reasons to be happy I'm leaving? Lucky it's all surfacing now.
So, today we didn't have dinner for the clone troopers, but inspection was held at 1845, because 1900 is the latest they can hold us without dinner. Brilliant right? Such measures are wonderful, because you seem to forget people remember the bad points more than the positive ones. Thus, try as you might to create a "positive NS experience", stuff like this is more inclined to remain in people's memory, so your quest will ultimately fail. For within evil are contained the seeds of its very own destruction.
Book out at past 7, walked that 1.2km to the busstop, waited 12 mins for the bus. BY that time, it was 740 already. And I only just boarded the bus. Tomorrow, gotta go for outcamp run. At Labrador park. A frickin' ulu place. you might as well put it on Pandora can? =.= It's a so-called 鸟不生蛋 (Where birds don't even lay eggs)place. There's no direct bus, but buses that pass by. I have to walk 683m in! That's how sad the place is. They seem to think every one has a car or bike or maybe a jetpack.
Rawr. Go to such an inconvenient place to run 4km and travel back home. Meh. Oh well, at least it is still an outcamp run. =.=
BTW I just started playing Realm of Empires (RoE) on FB. Anyone interested? It's a RTS game! Let me know, I send invites, and we can start off near each other's village. They have a proper map and such.

WEDnesday
Feeling sleepy. Just got back from driving. Had coffee before. It helps. Feel more alert. Haha. Going to start drinking it before every lesson. Coffee coffee buzzbuzzbuzz. Currently being bored at home. Thinking of stuff to do. Sigh. No one is online, I want to play L4D, don't want to watch movie. Sleep? I will wake up very messed up if I sleep in the afternoon.
Not having found a job or not being contacted by any company is taking it's toll on me. It's all very frustrating. Hello! Unemployed person here! (Well technically not yet...but details, details...) I need to find something soon. I'm still waiting for XW's friend who supposedly has an opening for a $7 per hour job. Still no news? And I also really need tutees. Most likely on the weekends. Tuition is flexible, and I still can keep on doing it in uni. That's critical. I suppose if all else fails, I can sign up with tuition agencies when I ORD. Gotta have a plan B.
Need to book in today for less than 24 hours. Stupid rule. Once each week. =.= Well...at least it is less than 24 hours but it is a pain. RAR. MUST. Endure. As it gets closer to the end it gets more and more painful to go back in, even though existence inside is anything but. It's all mental I guess, the "so close, yet so far", combined with the burst of OUTSIDE! FREEDOM! with stints of INSIDE! TRAPPED!

Played Left 4 Dead's second campaign, having completed the first yesterday. My game keeps crashing! I dunno why. Even at the lowest settings. =.= I managed to make it through quite a fair bit at one point though. Before crashing at the finale. Roar. And...just like that, most of the day is gone. =\ 5pm already. Tomorrow is the (kinda) last day of my break because need to book in at night. and book in the next day. RAHH. Book in once a week. =.= At least Fri outcamp run.

mon-DAY.
me bored. me at home. Hmm. Today, woke up, start hunting mice. Played a little Country Story. Moped about online. Using my sis com cos I'm doing some Photoshop stuff. Snuck a peek at my sis' blog. Not much. Our online lives are largely separate now, consider how much we fought in the past, even online. So now, distance is the best. And thanks to army (I guess), the long periods of absence have allowed us to both move on in our own ways, and things are much cooler now. Much more peaceful. My creative streak seemsto have rubbed off some, which is pretty cool. She makes her own blogskins. Maybe learning things is easier when you're younger.
Alas, I haven't designed blogskins in a while, but somehow the drive is not there (yet?) I like my current one a lot cos it was one of the nicest but I kinda been thinkin of making a new one (If I can bear to leave the old one behind, that is. Need to brush up on my coding skills at least. I'm kinda out at sea now...
EDIT.
Yup, I'm going to think about a new blogskin....but I need some practice first. First I'll also have to immortalise this skin somewhere before moving on. Time to hot wire up those creative cells
bzzt.
Should I try livejournal? It appars a LOT more complex but allows a lot of interesting things. BUT all my posts are here. I think I'll stick with bs.

Got picked up, used my GPS to help na'vi (lol) them to YH's place then went down to Val's place. Had breakfast and lunch. Tuition. Then stayed there till 6 before going back. And nth to do at hm. Hmm. Movie when I run out of ppl to talk to?
Saturday, January 23, 2010
Went out to meet Shawn and SW in the evening. Went ION Orchard cos the former wanted to shop. Walked around, and paid for a hundred and seventy dollar shirt cos he had no money. Well, it was a hundred after discount. After that went home for a late dinner (I was so preoccupied with looking for a job I forgot to eat =.=) then went to YM's place. Went to People Like Us a late night game/cafe thing and ordered beer and food. I lost at Uno. Twice. Meh.
Went back to crach at Ym's place, came home, searched for more jobs, then went to watch Objectified, a docu-movie about industrial design. Intro-ed by someone who took Id in poly! Haha. It was pretty nice. Now...bored at home. Bleah.

Mm...made a bowl of macaroni and cheese with tuna. quite yummy. Darn should have added in the tinned cocktail sausages. too. Cooking it requires a lot of supervision though...it nearly boiled over. Anyway, woke up early this morning to book in. It started raining on the LRT. I only have a small umbrella so my shoes and socks got wet. Changed and took the test. Hooray for reference materials. And ctrl-f!
But it's still not easy. Passing mark is 85%! After ctrl-effing (lol) my way through the test, careless mistakes and tikaming those questions which I couldn't find the reference materials for, I scraped through with 68/80. =X One mark less would have done me in. For yet another 40 questions, 30 minutes, and 20 swear words.
Once I passed, I got the hell out, returned some equipment I needed to, and left in my wet shoes, and new socks, which became wet 5 mins later. =.= Well at least I'm home now...

UPDATE.
Went to Tamp to meet Ben and Raye for dinner. Had dinner at Popeyes! Yum! I like the mashed potato! Maybe cos of the contractile tissue in it. A lot of stuff tastes better with contractile tissue in it. Walked around TM. It was fun. Haha. I guess you could say it was a very surfy-inspired day. =P
Anyway tak, here is the history of your cube.
Late Pre-birthday: Hey that looks like a nice gift! We could paint it!
Pre-birthday: Oh no...we don't have time to pass it around to decorate it...next year?
Post-birthday: In Xiwen's care, design of bottom and her side.
Pre-Xmas: Visited my place and dropped off the cube.
Pre-Xmas: Finished drawing the mini drawing on my side.
The day before your birthday: Finished my side, the rest finished theirs at Val's place.
Morning of your birthday: I measured and drew out the companion cube. XW and I painted it!
Was hoping you'd take pictures and post it up...cos I like the top. =X
Meh...gotta book in tomorrow morning and spoil my break thanks to some incompetent idiot. Book in for that test I'm not even supposed to take in the fist place. WASTE MY TIME. Well, the faster I'm done with it, the faster I can go home. Haha. I hope I can quickly pass it.
---
In the morning, had breakfast at Val's place and went to XW's place to get some paint and stuff for our cube. Finished the cube, then cabbed down to NUS. We saw [text missing] and then went down to tak's table. Gave her the cube and her gift. Val came by too. Exchanged a few words and then left. Crashed XW's tuition. I was introduced as Chuck! Hahaha. I was going to help them install apps into their iPod touch. The dad bought them for his sons. Did I mention they have no internet and no computer? Well, not a working one at least. And the iPod had almost 900 songs inside. How? Well, it was bought second hand, and the owner was a certain Mogan Subramaniam. I wonder if it was lost, or legit 2nd hand product...
Anyway after trying and failing to connect online via XW's M1 mobile internet, I tried using my e51 as a router. Which worked. That is, until I found out I had to log in to Mogan's Apple Account to download from the app store. Being unacquainted personally with Mr. Mogan, I couldn't download anything. So we just synced the iPod to XW's minicomputer and downloaded from there, using my account.
After the lesson, I was gonna go back, but her next leson was cancelled to we went to vivo for a really late (close to 4pm) lunch and tried to work on my application letter. Walked around a bit till 7 before going home. I made her spend $60 at a shop. =X Lol!
Anyway I submitted my application earlier. I still feel really shitty cos of the letter. Stayed home and watched Tv today. Mmm...Pop Tarts.

Was really glad to book out today. I left ASAP. Thanks to some fuckup by some incompetent bugger, I now have to come back on my Friday (When I'm on off.) to take some bloody test which I NEED NOT TAKE IN THE FIRST PLACE. Felt really sick and nauseous throughout the whole program today. Probably because of certain stuff I need to handle, and certain stuff I had to plan.
Went home, changed, and met XW and Shurong for dinner. Dinner at Bugis, then went by my place to get some stuff. Went to XW's place to get xw's stuff too. Then Val drove us to her place. Anyway I saw my resume and it looks like shit compared to her. Meh. I dunno wtf was I doing la. Copied mine off a friend's. I dunno where to download these templates. I wasn't even sure you could do that. I feel so useless. So far I've only ever gotten one job before.
So now I need to rewrite my shit resume into a proper one and get a not-fucking-idiotic-sounding gmail account and reupload everything again. Because everything is shit. Almost every. Single. Frickin'. Thing. Bullshit. Everything is fucked up. I am messed up. I want a job ASAP. Need money. I still dunno whether to not take two jobs. OR play stocks instead. Sigh. I'm in a really shitty mood now.

I just can't wait to leave this place. Soon. SOON. Yes. That is a happy thought. Sometimes I just can't stand it here or stand you people anymore. This is one of those times. The thought of not having to see any of you anytime soon brings me great comfort. Yes
Fuck. Off. There are people talking in bunk and i can't play my movie really softly through speakers? What? And you're not even sleeping yet. Wtf. WTF. Just GET ME THE HELL OUT OF HERE. I don't want to have to see you anymore. GoodBYE. Go away. None of you are going to be of much use to me in the future nor do i treasure any of my relationships with you all, so i just can't wait to move on with my life and be done with you all. Be done with this shit.
This is simply THE most stupid, pointless, retarded chapter of my life. Time spent in here is wasted youth. What a fuckin' waste.
So fuck'all.

Went PS to meet Ben and XW. Met tak to exchange gifts and then went for lunch at Kopitiam. Pepper Lunch! Haven't eaten it in a while. Tad pricey, but oh well. That's the way things are nowadays. At least it was tasty and filling. Been a while since I had Pepper Lunch le. I actually like it. Hung about PS, then went home to for the usual FB fix, and to fill in my job hunting stuff.
Went down to Shawn's place where we did a lil hunting of our own. Submitted 5 application, have to see how it goes. Hope it's good. =X I hope to get a job ASAP, and hopefully take on a couple of tutees on the weeekends if possible. Actually considering taking a day job (end at 6)and night job (start at 7 till maybe midnight) Would be could. Might be tiring, but it's a challenge I'm willing to accept. I'm used to sleeping little already. 2 jobs plus weekend tuition? Nice.

Meh. Thanks to this stupid week, I stayed up till 525AM (as of writing) to catch up on my TV shows. Just my luck that Chuck and HIMYM restarted broadcast that week. Glad it's finally over. Totally ruined my capability to catch up on my shows, so had to do so today. Not going to sleep much later I guess...
After book out, stayed at home a while before meeting Raye at 313 to walk around a bit, before going Cine to buy a giant domokun for me (^^) and then to Taka to look at the LEGO store. I want LEGO Star Wars! =X Haha. After that, met ben at City Hall and walked to Timbre. The queue was damn long. Meh. We waited for like at hour before we got a table.
Ordered drinks and a pizza, and that was it. Also passed Raye her present. MEL you never come. Yours is still with me. Nevertheless it was a fun time though cabbing back is kinda expensive. Zzz. The domokun is very huggable. =D Haha. Going sleep now. -Yawn-

Yay. I am proud to announce I have developed a freakin' headache after the past crappy week. To be able to finish it today was a great load of our backs. The feeling was akin to ORDing, because this is likely our last work week. alas, my head is throbbing. Sigh. Really annoyed they did this to me. Day after day after day of cooped up in a room listing to people go yada yada yada about stuff that doesn't concern me. It would be strange to absent ourselves, but still...
Had a 5km run today. After so many months of not running, AND the holiday season, AND my CCC, today was quite shitty. I'm not good at running in the first place, so I lagged behind the rest at first, and the gap slowly increased. Was glad it was over. After that, had a dialogue with Formation SM in the mess. He's a nice guy. But after so many hours of people talking, my headache started to develop here. After that we had lunch and then settled some stuff before booking out.
Or rather, trying to book out. We were told to leave before 2, but apparently no one cleared the arms, so we ended up waiting till 230 before leaving. Sigh. Well, glad to be back for the weekend at least.

Tues, Wed, Thurs, ALL the same old thing. Well, pretty much. Discussions, blah blah, all the stuff-for-which-we'd-have-to-kill-people-if-we-told-those-people-about-that-stuff. Whole day. Thank heavens for mobile internet. [This is SO like my Mon post] My Skyfire is acting up and I can't play Country Story. GAHH. Don't know why. Tues was still okay. Wed...was when things started to get a lit-tle kooky.
See now, at this period you have had THREE straight days with like 30+ guys cramped into one freezing room with one computer discussing the stuff you'd have to kill people for, blah, from pretty much 830-1200 and 1330-1700. That's 7 hours. In there. Wed near the end, the discussion got a wee bit cracked, with heated points about using markers or glowsticks or spray paint yada yada yada. Markers. Glowsticks. Okay...
Luckily it was near the end of the session. Things were starting to break down there. We were all glad to get out of that room from some fresh air. Today was different stuff, but still kill-people-etc stuff. Felt kinda long too. Tomorrow, also similar. Expect there's PT in the morning. And a dialogue session. And more stuff. ROAR. This has been a REALLY LONG week. Sigh. It's finally Friday tomorrow. Can't wait for it to be over.
This week has really been horrible. It's a so-called retreat, but it's just been a full-frontal assault on the administrative processes and planning for the future of everything here. I guess the people actually doing stuff must feel worse and the people staying behind to carry on these changes, but it has really been a tough week for all. Glad it'll be over soon. Hopefully can book out early on Fri. Less than 24 hours to go. Must endure. I really can't stand much longer. The last stretch is really quite hard.
And danr I forgot to bring my PSP home. I got my latest HIMYM episode le. Sigh. I Shall watch it on Fri instead, when I'm fully free of this week. From here on it ought to be better.

Forgot to blog about Sun. Nothing much, stayed at home and surfed net. Things have cleared up enough to put me in a better mood for job hunting. Shawn mailed me a few, shall send out my CV. I'm also hoping to give tuition on weekends, so XW if you're reading this, your help is needed. Haha. My plan is to do both, then drop the job once uni starts and HOPEFULLY give tuition on the weekend. That is, if I can still fit it into hall life.
Got home today specially to mail out my CV, hopefully I can nab myself something good. Probably starting after CNY. That's it for Sun. OH I forgot to bring PSP. =.= Apparently it WAS banned but then allowed again, which I forgot. Oh well, at least i'm back now. =)
Today was the start of our almost week-long discussion session for Stuff-For-Which-You'd-Have-To-Kill-People-If-You'd-Told-Those-People. Which is, pardon me, not VERY relevant to my interests now. So, yay for mobile internet. Tomorrow is more relaxed (no more Smart 4) and day-by-day, we're getting through this week.

Today was quite okay. =) Went driving, then back home. Driving was...kinda sucky. Maybe I oughta start getting more sleep. Rar. I got home and decided to redesign my farm with my newfound wealth. Haha. I was having trouble planning it in my head so I decided to take a risk and work it out. I wiped out my plots that were in the way and designed it around my magic tree garden. Almost feared it wouldn't work, but found a way. Arranged my animals in the most space-efficient way and my plots neatly in 10s too! Just the way I like it. It looks really pretty now! Haha.
After that went Orchard to find XW and ben. XW and I went to Suntec to find a Bakerzin cos Val wanted to eat. Then ben joined us. we went Carrefour to hunt for more dessert ("There reeeallly was a cakeee...") and got some stuff. And honey chicken too. Cabbed down to her place, and had a nice dinner. =) After some iPhone distractions, watched Se7en! Now we all know what's in the box! Well, tak wasn't there but I can send her the movie too!
And recent developments seem to show things seems to be settling down, so that's a load off my shoulders. It's really been spoiling my mood recently and making me stressed too, so I couldn't really concentrate on finding a job, which is really important right now. Now that it's (mostly) over, I can do so in peace. Yay. Need money badly. I spent a LOT last month cos of the holiday AND the holiday season. Going to spend a lot more this year cos of all the b'days!
Tomorrow will be 31 days to ORD. Oops, today. Lol. Need to start adapting to a normal life again. How exciting! Like to announce that (because of some stupid requirements) I'm on off on 18th (Mon) till evening, so 17th can go out late, and on off from 19th (evening) onwards till 27! So free then! Thing is, school probably started by then...so see if we can put together anything...oh, 1st Feb on off too.

Friday. Stayed up late last night, made a call to settle stuff. Left the mosquitoes at Seletar a few more presents. Stayed up till 2AM. I drank tea before that anyway so I couldn't sleep. RAR. Note To Self: No tea before bed. LOL. Anyway after the late call I was able to sleep already. There was going to be PT conducted today morning and I thought I'd have to wake up at 8. =(
Thankfully no one was available to conduct it. So we waited to leave. Around 1130 left camp to go Nee Soon for PRIDE day. Booked out from there. Now at home...trying to enjoy my weekend. But everything seems to be falling apart. Timbre shifted to next week. (I know it's not your fault. =X) No longer going Val's place to play L4D, late night movie plans scrapped because the movie is not...relevant to our interests.
So...breakfast still? Got driving from 1230 to 2. After that...I dunno about the proposed Star Wars marathon. Sun morning, think ben is going down for tuition now, so nothing for me. Need to get over next week! And endure this final stretch. and find something to do this weekend.

Wed. Nothing much. Helped out with some stuff in the day. Reminds me of pioneer course. Had CO dialogue with everyone in the evening. Everyone cramped into that not-small-but-not-very-big audit (actually just a room with a lot of chairs in it) for the dialogue. They had to form teams and ask questions. Quite a lot of teams and quite a lot of questions. The whole thing went from 6 pm to close to 10.
Near the end, one of the pioneers asked something about the specialists bringing in PSPs. Oo...touchy. The final verdict is that PSPs are still, ahem, banned. Oh dear. That's a little tricky. Hence, soon we believe there's going to be a little stir going on. Oh well, won't concern me much either. I welcome my PSP and iPhone with open arms.
As for today, we were called to dispose of refuse at the rubbish point. Bulky refuse. Stuff like office swivel chairs and smashed tables from the burnt office. In the rain. And by dispose, I mean if the commonly accepted meaning of the term 'dispose' refers to two people tossing entire office chairs and tabletops airborne and into the back of a dump truck.
See now...a dump truck? Wow. Because it was virtually impossible to open the rear flap, (Things go OUT from there.) we had to figure how to get large and heavy things that required two people lifting like chairs and tables in. We only had to look one way. Up. So we got to it.
The rubbish point was just that. A shed with chairs and wooden planks and boards stacked hapzaradly atop one another, all still covered with soot and grease. The floor had puddles of some unidentifible gooey brown substance that wasn't probably of this earth. Clomping around over the boards and shit, picking pieces out here and there. Also, the rain wasn't the main thing here. The rain was, well, rain.
The main thing was to watch where you were going, as all around you, office furniture could be falling out of the sky anywhere. Several times if they didn't throw hard enough, the chair would hit the side of the dump truck and fall off. Sometimes onto the people who threw it. And not just chairs. Window blinds, drawers, tabletops. All came up, and some looked like they were going to come down on you.
Not just from above, danger lurked below too. I put my foot into a drain once too. Pop, there you go. No drain cover in the first place. Michael put his foot in too. Only somehow he fractured his toe. Like a month before ORD. And a week before his TP. Yup. He's in a cast now. KH stepped onto guess what? A board with a nail. And not just any nail, a rusty nail! Luckily we were wearing boots. There were a few of these lying around. Perfect zombie killing weapons. Tossed them into the truck. I'd hate to be hit by one of those babies coming down.
Anyway, came home to notice Country Story has had a major update. A lot of new stuff! I levelled up by doing n00b quests. And there are a LOT of them. I almost thought it was a bug. AND...the requirements from the trophies have been lowered to more reasonable levels. Levels that non-obsessed people can attain. =X Which means those people who did SO MUCH for the trophies in the past...(dunno if this applies to you tak) well, you didSO MUCH quite a lot for them...I kinda feel bad. Lol

A quick one before I book in again. Helped out a little today. Well. Kinda. They don't really need our help but we just went down as a show of support for the unlucky few who were chosen to do the demonstration. It's not all of us now. The rest are probably going to help out with some other stuff. Yup. Camp's com is worse than ever, so I'm off CS for the time being. Harvesting with my phone is a bitch, but oh well. Only a month more.
And the good news is that everything will (HOPEFULLY) just be for these two weeks. After that thay're gonna let us go in peace(once more, HOPEFULLY). Return our shit on 18th (Mon) and go for an extended break to clear off and leave till Fri. So that's good. Then after than, come back to wait out the last week or so before ORD. YES. After all this time. Haha.
Things seem to be taking a turn for the better. I have yet to write my reply, but yeah I have more to say. Andddd...these event sorta killed my mood so I decided not to go for the half-price waffles at Gelare with everyone, but return home to settle stuff. Turns out I got totally sidetracked by facebook, which helped lift my spirits. And also typing email on my phone is really annoying, so I'll have to leave that for another day. =\
The invite by S next week is a bitch, butt I'll take things as they come. For now, the main thing is to get past tomorrow, and the rest of this week and the next. RAH. Did I mention I'm now CLIMBING A ****ING MOUNTAIN in July? Yup. A REAL mountain. I'll leave that for another day.

[Update]
The mess was really crowded so I retreated to my bunk. I was the first one back. It's dark and blasting my MP3 through my speakers feels great. I could stay here for a while. Listening to all the old songs brings back the good old memories.
And then some. I fully realised what you did to me then. And how we did nothing. That issue is still unresolved. And we pretended like nothing happened. All the way till now. How could you treat me like that? At a time when i needed my friends the most.
Xiwen-Stars! Playing on shuffle.
---
It never rains but it pours. First day back in camp and a whole shitstorm descends on us. Arrows arrows everywhere. It's like that scene in 300 only there aren't any shields and the arrows aren't cgi. So yeah, we're going to have plenty work to do for our last month here. Crap. Stores, drills, and some demonstration. Just let us dekit and give away our equipment. Did stores again earlier.
So now i got stuff to cope with outside and shit to deal with inside. And S invited me to his gf's house to play wii. =.= after breaking up and coming to me for help, i'm supposed to go back there and pretend nothing happened? Sigh. Now we're trying to solve our issues in camp.

Woke up, played Country Story and Facebook. Decided to try and play Left 4 Dead 2. It's fun! Haha. Especially making sashimi out of zombies with the Samurai Sword. After a while, headed to do the stupid MyORD quiz. It really was a pain in the ass.
You're supposed to open a page full of stupid mind-numbing info, read and memorise that in under a minute (Sure, you could take a couple hours and read through everything slowly, but WHO DOES THAT?), and take a quiz. If you answer twice, wrongly, you're directed to the main page and you have to open the quiz again.
It's freaking annoying because the wording in some answers are ambiguous, sometimes the words in the answers and the info are totally different, and in some cases, COMPLETELY wrong, which results in a sick game of trial and error and frustration as you vainly do the quiz several times to find the right answers. And despair as you note the vast amounts of bureaucratic bullshit you have to cut through even after ORDing.
Just the sight of all that nonsense is enough to make you want to leave this place. Like my FB status says: "Exemption from NS is granted only when the SAF Medical Board has certified an NSman to be medically and permanently unfit for military service or when one renounces his citizenship." Simply DOING the MyORD quiz is enough to make me puke blood. Or, renounce my citizenship.
Well, I finally completed it. Thanks to two important techonological tools, namely "Open New Tab" and Ctrl-f. which turn the quiz into an (aided) open page test. I also learnt to open and tick "I have read this page" instantly and close it because some pages don't have a quiz. Hah. Done with that annoying crap. For now. Gotta book in tonight. sigh. Wonder if I can clear my last offs.

Today went out to meet XW and Ben for lunch at PS. Ben woke up late. =\ So we went to food court to eat first. Ben met up with us later and we walked around till 330. Pics later on FB. Lol. At 330, we left, for Orchard and Ben went home. XW went for tkd, and I met YM at Ion. Walked around a bit. He was looking for a jacket. I got a new shirt I wasn't intending to buy. Haha. But I suppose I can wear it for CNY. =) Lol.
He bought quite a few things too. After that went to Somerset, Had dinner at 313. Then went to Heeren to walk a bit before going home. Feet quite tired. Rawr. Tomorrow is the last day of my break. =(
Something nasty occurred earlier. At a traffic light with YM, a bird suddenly landed on his shoulder. Instinctively, he brushed it away and it flew off, but quite low. It eventually flew back into the crowd and then landed on this guy's pants pocket. Afraid of hurting it, I stuck out my finger but it didn't hop on. The guy brushed it off and it landed on the floor.
It fluttered around, and flew straight into the intersection. Landed on the ground. It avoided the first one or two cars, but in (very low) mid flight, it got run over. Once. Twice. And again. And again. Until it stopped moving. It wasn't flattened, but it was still. One leg stuck out at a crooked angle. We were thinking, if he had let the bird stay on his shoulder, if I had just grabbed the bird with my hands, it may have survived. But we not doing so, we indirectly caused it death. Furthermore it landed in a place where cars were passing over constantly, regardless of the light. One couldn't run out to scoop it up.

I do not understand these things, he thought. But it is good that we do not have to try to kill the sun or the moon or the stars. It is enough to live on the sea and kill our true brothers.

Blog b4 I sleep. So, yest after my driving XW met me at the bus stop to go my place. We baked cheesecake! After that, decided to get chicken, so went by BTUC to buy 1 chicken, which we basted with honey and mayo and put on the rotisserie in my oven for a while. Ben and Raye came by and we watched Raye attempted to open her present, which was sealed very securely by ben. lol! And there was a smaller present inside it. And another one after that!
Went down, picked up by Yh who drove us over to val's place. Dropped Raye off at CP. Val was a little disappointed that the mounds of food we were supposed to bring didn't materialise, but well, we had a whole chicken. And soup. (BTW I LOVED THE SOUP) And rice. And cake. Can't forget cake.
We had dinner, and then a short video game experience session where ben tantalised val with L4D2, which was fun and yet also scary to play for her. I could hardly believe that she used to play LAN before when she was younger. Apparently years of not playing have made her more vulnerable to unarmed assailants running at her growling and flailing their arms, compared to say, masked terrorists with automatic weapons.
Ben and XW were addicted to well, not the game itself, but beating each other's high scores on one of my iPhone's games, which involves doing really nasty things to a rag doll. Like pushing it down a flight of stairs. Several times. Over and over again. Ben held the high score then. So after MUCH ado and addictive video gaming where everyone couldn't really control themselves, we went to her bro's room to watch a movie. And after much deciding, we settled on Planet Terror! 2010 came during the movie, looked around a bit, and decided to settle in. Weijin came during the movie too, looked around a bit, said hi to xw, and left.
After the movie, we went out to pull xmas crackers! We got them at Spotlight for 1.50 a packet thanks to a post xmas 75% markdown. Yay! We bought 4 boxes. 32 crackers. Since there were only 5 of us, val's bro helped out too. Lol. We had fun playing with the party hats and little toys!
Next came present exchange. I won't elaborate too much on it because photos are on Facebook, but suffice to say Mousehunt was the flavour of the day. Lol. After present exchange, YH and ben left, buy XW and I decided to stay on. We drank a bit, and retired to val's bro's room to watch movie. XW fell asleep during like the first 5 mins. After watching a while, I felt sleepy too and went to sleep.
Woke up in the middle up the night cos her bro was making a lot of noise. Apparently, he drank ALL our Vodka while we were asleep, and neat too. Now he was, to quote James Blunt, "fucking high" and practially flying. And talking a lot. Now XW and I just wanted to go back to sleep but he kept talking to us. and using his laptop. Eventually we shut it off and got him to sleep by saying we wouldn't tell val. He did so by himself the next day. Even showed her the bottle.
Went home around 12, stayed there till I left for Ym's place to go play Munchkin at this hangout place near his house. Then came home, passed him my magic book of Combat Engineer Knowledge. He's going to be extremely well-prepared for his future lectures. Lol! Going out tomorrow. Yay!

It was going to be a new year,
it was going to be a new day.
But the angry kitten came,
and took something from us away.

I'm kinda tired now. Staying over at Val's place. Will blog tomorrow.
The Reaper and the Flowers
There is a Reaper, whose name is Death,
And, with his sickle keen,
He reaps the bearded grain at a breath,
And the flowers that grow between.
"Shall I have naught that is fair?" Saith he;
"Having naught but the bearded grain?
Though the breath of these flowers is sweet to me,
I will give them all back again,"
He gazed at the flowers with tearful eye,
He kissed their drooping leaves;
It was for the Lord of Paradise
He bound them in his sheaves.
"My Lord has need of these floweretsgay,"
The Reaper said, and smiled:
"Dear tokens of the earth are they,
Where he was once a child."
"They shall all bloom in fields of light,
Transplanted by my care,
And saints, upon their garments white,
These sacred blossoms wear."
And the mother gave, in tears and pain,
The flowers she most did love:
She knew she should find them all again
In the fields of light above.
O, not in cruelty, not in wrath,
The Reaper came that day;
'Twas an angel visited the green earth,
And took the flowers away.
