Nothing much today. Woke up, CSed, (Country Storied) and then went to CP for bre...brunch. Went to the Singtel Shop. I can change to the youth plan but I have to recontract which means I need to get a new phone with it. Wow. Must get a phone. Well, I can get the iPhone but I don't want to get it so early. Might be offer next year(?) So I decided not to. Anyway, the Zoukout tix are sold out. =\
Next yr chg plan before I ORD. Had brunch, came home and played Assasins's Creed. Quite fun. Haha. Damn. Been a quiet day and I squandered away today. Time seems to have gone by very fast. 6 already. Well, tomorrow is the last day of my break. Better enjoy it.
PS: I just signed up for Google Wave. Anyone wants invites? BTW if u already have then tell me ur mail, can add each other. =D
Musing, rants and observations from life around me. May contain a lack of verisimilitude.

Mm. Woke up, did my usual Country Story harvesting this morning, then chilled at home till it was time to go out. Took bus to Tamp, met up with Raye. Took train to Expo. Singaporean. Tsk. They rush into the train like there's gold nuggets scattered over the seats. Those alighting have a hard time. Everything I see scenes like this, I'm ashamed to be Singaporean. One of my first thoughts are: Jeez, I wanna emigrate. I NEVER obstruct the passageway if I can help it. It's inconsiderate and makes the process less efficient due to your selfishness.
Ah well, enough of that. Met ben and surprise, Bel and Ben (The Val Connection) at 7-11. Got a Big Gulp and went in, walked around. Bel was looking for a netbook so we went about the different kiosks to ask around and pick up flyers. After our circuit, we went outside expo to sit down and look through everything. Settled on what seemed to be the best offer and she called home. After a conversation, apparently val was gonna give her laptop to her sis so they didn't get anything after all. The duo left for their TKD class, and ben, raye and I went to Pasir Ris.
Haven't been there in what seems like years. Probably quite close to that either. Months. The place has changed quite a bit. There's a small nook next to the Macdonalds (Don't ask me how they found the space) in which they managed to squeeze a little Subway. The Cavana in which tak and I once studied all the way till closing time (and then some) has become a Manhattan Fish Market. Ben and Jerry's is long since dead. And with this, our memories are merely the faintest of echoes in the hallways of our mind, with no permanance or tangibility in the outside world, all visible landmarks erased forever.
Anyway we had dinner there, and ben showed raye a Peter Chao video. We spent 90% of our time at that table talking in Peter Chao accents, which seemed to amuse Raye intensely. The remaining 10% we used our own voices, because, well, talking in Peter Chao accents is REALLY tiring. Phew. Haha. We had a really funny discussion about Twilight (Peter Chao: OOH TWIRIGHT!) at the expo earlier. (See below) Lol. And saw the 30 weirdest Twiright, oops, Twilight merchandise ever.
I mean, really now. From FB: "Today I realised our generation will be remembered at the one that liked sparkly vampires. FML." The Best Joker Ever (Who happens to be dead now) got beaten by sparkly vampires and werewolves allergic to shirts. Ben laughed like mad when he heard that last line. Seriously. I have YET to see ONE pictures in which the werewolves have to COMMON DECENCY to put on a shirt, or a top, or any other article of torso-covering clothing.
Is there any scene in which they do wear something that prevents the general public from seeing what lies below their shoulders and above their waist? If I were in a theatre I'd probably go: OH! OMG! They're wearing shirts! THEY'RE WEARING SHIRTS! WOW! Uh. That's the general gist of it. Haha I should stop here. Later tak run me through with a carrot or something. Lol!

Nothing much today. Same old. Still this is a lovely long break. Tried to play a little Pokemon but wasn't much in the mood. Probably cos I'm kinda tired or something. Past few days been sleeping at 3 plus to wake at 9 and 10 to harvest the fruit from my trees. Damn Trees keep running out of water so the timing gets delayed. =\ finished Liar Game and Zombieland. Can't wait for the next ep. Zland was funny. Hahaha. I liked it. It's not what you'd properly define as a GOOD movie, but it is entertaining and enjoyable. It's a zombie comedy movie after all. Lol.
Went out at night for dinner. My sis bought an iPod touch. Wait till next year for my iPhone. Heh. =) Going SITEX tomorrow with ben and rainnie. See if got anything interesting. Maybe not. Probably just lots of people. And flyers. That despite their name are lying around on the ground and in trash bins. They should remove the 'f's from flyers, call them lyers. But then they might be confused with liars. So it's all for the best I guess. Hmm. Don't feel like Pokemoning. I think that feeling will come back only in a few days. Which is good. Noone on MSN. No TV shows. Movies? Hmm...Assassin's creed then.

Update:
Finished Liar Game. Think I'll stop here, hit S2 tomorrow. I want the most expensive fish in HA. I want all of the magic trees in CS! I would mention MouseHunt but later tak take a mousetrap to certain extremities. >< If it's any consolation, they are trying to take over the world! OR the Town of Gnawnia first.

Forgot to blog yesterday. Didn't do much. Played Pokemon in the morning. Cleared out Silph Co, a messy building. I'm a one man army! Visualise Rambo with a Pikachu and ammo belts of Pokeballs. Lol. Mew is going to introduce a lot of Pokemon to its new friend, A World Of Pain. Thanks to Psychic. Also watched Liar Game. Caught mice on Facebook. This new (ok, not-so-new since S2 is airing now) show I got is a Jap series based on a manga. And it's pretty cool. If there's anything the Japanese are good at, it's inventing convoluted situation in which genius(es) work their brains. It brings to mind the genius VS genius of Death Note, but this is slightly different.
Basically this girl receives 100 million yen, and forced to participate in the Liar Game. In round 1, they have to steal as much of their opponent's money as possible. If you lose, you have to pay the organisation 100 million back. She is pretty gullible and gets tricked but then enlists the help of a genius swindler to help her out. Round 2 and 3 are even nicer to watch and have really interesting games. Haha.
That's about it. At night, went for dinner, then took my passport photo. Uhh..it's not that smart to wear a white shirt on a white background for the photo because you may look like a disembodied head and scare the heck out of people. But it wasn't THAT bad. Bought stuff at NTUC. Today, went for lunch at CP with YM and the twins then went home. I submitted my acceptance to NUS for the normal term.
Jan need to do job hunting. I'm sorta prepared just to stay hall one year for the experience. See how is it. =) OH yeah, going in like SO CONFUSING. It's like playing a game without knowing the rules, the controls, and no manual. And you can't really understand what's being displayed on the screen. There's so many things I encountered while submitting my application. Applying for lectures and tutorials, timetable builder, applying for modules (which can I take?),and how about orientation and stuff? Does it come in the package they'll be sending me? Is there a walkthrough or cheatcode? Can I press UP UP DOWN DOWN LEFT RIGHT A B B A?
Hmm...I suppose I'll understand everything in due time. Lol. Oh I also just found out my speakers are placed wrongly. Left is right and right is left. =.= Which is a bit confusing cos the back of the speaker says (right). So is that Right facing the back or Right from the front?? =\ Anyway it was wrong so I swapped them around, a fairly simple manoeuvre involving removing everything on my table and manipulating the rat's nest of wires while trying not to be bitten by the rats. (I kid. I'm a neat freak, so my wires are as neat as I can make them.)
So anyway I fixed up everything, and somehow everything sounds nicer than before. =) The 2.1CH light is lit up also, where it wasn't before. I wonder why. =S Oh well, at least it's fixed. And I can enjoy my movies much better now. I remember a few times when the sounds sounded a little reversed, but I didn't look/listen(ha-ha) into it.
Hmm...I was wondering about my self-discipline when I go uni. I think maybe I can control myself...I mean if you'e got unfinished work to do, you don't go running off to your nearest hardware store to purchase 2 tins of Nippon and paint the town red right? Plus you'd get arrested! Any opinions? On me.

Suffering from a slight headache after watching like 20 episodes of How I met Your Mother. That works out to about...420 minutes of TV. Or say, 7 hours. Of course, not including the in-between time doing other mundane time-killing things on Facebook, and waiting for the mundane time-killing things on Facebook to load cos my internet at times is INFURIATINGLY slow. Uhhh...my headache is annoying.
Oh yes, perhaps because I slept all of 2 hours last night, watching the BEFORE these 20 episodes of HIMYM. (And of course need I mention the mundane time-killing things on Facebook?) Went for the project early in the morning, reached quite early. Took a few pics on the way to camp but my headache is sorta like blocking the photos from going from my camera to my computer. Played Assassin's Creed on my PSP which was pretty FUN. And cool. Haha. Interested to go on.
Now I have caught up with HIMYM, I have a Jap TV series to finish, countless movies to watch, more mundane time-killing things on Facebook to play with, and Pokemon Yellow and Assassin's Creed to complete. Kinda spoilt for choice. Anyway was stationed opposite Ritz Carlton for the project. I don't think I can say what I do, because if I told you, I'd have to kill you. (Now isn't that sexy?) And I'd have quite a few troublesome bodies to dispose of too.
There wasn't anything much to take pictures of either. Save the LED balls, I mean LED lights and plastic balls dangling off the trees. Gosh that sounds crude. After the project we headed to Suntec Food Terrace for lunch. Where I self-pwned. =.= I went to this supposed cai fan stall and ordered food. The variety was impressive, but I didn't realise one key fact staring me in the face.
So I ordered my food, went back, and realised I had spent $3.50 on a place of rice, tofu and sauce, and two pieces of crappy mutton that had the texture of cotton wool and tasted suspiciously like mock meat. Guess what? It WAS mock meat. When I looked at the stall from my seat, TA-DA! VEGETARIAN all splashed across its signboard. In capitals. And backlighted. =.= Wow. Ok. Not that I have anything against vegetarians or vegetarianism, (Don't hit me with your carrots! I sometimes eat veggie food in cookhouse for variety!) but I totally didn't realise it was a vege stall.
Anyway they wanted to watch movie after, but we had a tough time decided cos there were so many people and some had watched certain movies already. The Informant, I watched. Amelia, NO TOMMY, if I wanted to see a lay fly across an ocean I could just book a flight an an international airline. Christmas Carol, c'mon it's like a movie about Goldilocks! Everyone knows the story. Fantastic Mister Fox got a mixed bag of reactions (obviously someone shook it too well) so we didn't decide on that. In the end they went up to decide on a show while I went home becauseee...
Rewind to this morning. I was putting my phone in my pocket when my bag containing my camera slid off the bench. I reached to grab it and barely saved it from touching ground, in the process allowing my half-inserted phone to slip out and fall, along with my PSP case.So the back light went out. I intended to go own to Tamp to get it fixed though the warranty was over. I tried smacking it at different angles several times, but no dice. So I made do. On the way home at Dhoby, I took it out and ding! Back light on again. This phone is amazing. After accidentally dropping it quite a few times it keeps on going.
Got home, watched my TV shows. I haven't settled the registration for NUS yet. Need a passport photos. I remember I took some but can't remember where they went...=S Oh well. I think I'll be matriculating later. Save up some money. Economy's been quite bad and we could do with the extra cash. Especially after I enter. I want to stay hall and yet wanna study and maybe get a part time job. I have a feeling it might kill me though. That is, it this headache doesn't get to me first. Not gonna check for spelling. Gah. =X

Forgot to blog on Mon. Hmm. Nothing much, basically just waited for today. Trained up on my afternoon napping skills. Like SNORLAX using REST. (Speaking of which, I caught one. Lobbed like 7 Pokeballs at it before I tried a Great Ball. Caught. =.=) I lay in bed for a really long time as the afternoon died around me. Then finally when I fell asleep, I woke up at 5 for dinner feeling quite messed up. I mean, naps are supposed to make you feel better right? Not make you feel like your head has been through 3 spin cycles. Because I hardly take afternoon naps, I felt like I woke up in a different timezone. Needa train more. Haha.
Today, waited to book out. Doing project tomorrow, so I'm staying out tonight. Anyone wanna meet up at Suntec tomorrow afternoon for lunch or something? =) After that, outcamp run on Thurs so I won't be booking in. Fort Canning Park. Cool. Then it's holiday all the way till Dec 1. =) I took leave. Combo! Though I was considering taking a couple more days to clear my off...
Oh well it's still good. Probably go watch some TV shows now, maybe eat my cookies. (NOM.) Tomorrow returning outside camp at 730 to go down to Suntec. Better pack my bag first.

Rah-rah-ah-ah-ah-ah!
-Bad Romance, Lady Gaga
I forgot to close the curtains last night. So I ended up waking quite early. Darn. I don't know why my light sensitivity seems to have increased. Perhaps partially due to the friggin' early timetable I've had for the past year plus. (Great now I can star in TWILIGHT! =DDD =.=)Normally I'd have slept past 11, but now I get woken at 9 plus or 10. 11AM on a Saturday morning was not something I would have normally seen.
Anyway I went to CP to return my library books and also to buy brown sugar. Went home, FBed till Rainnie came at 330. Made cookies. Meh. Tasted yummy but looked like sad little brown puddles. =X Apparently one recommendation is to chill the dough. Shall try it again tomorrow and see how it goes. They overflowed the tray and the inside of the oven. It may not be World's Biggest, but it definitely was Oven's Biggest. Partially because it was almost as large as the oven itself. =.=
Oh, I ran out of all purpose flour and used half self-raising. That's probably not good either. A downright sin by serious baking standards I expect. The International Baker's Guild may send a French assassin to decapitate me with a baguette if this gets out. And maybe the baking soda was not well mixed enough. See how it goes tomorrow.
After that, went CP for Cup Walker, then took train down to Vivo. Met YM and SX at Brotzeit. Rawr. Spend more money. 38. SX say just pei him eat. =\ Especially with that joker who suggested Raffles Hotel for cohesion. It's not APEC or the G8 summit, but Company HQ cohesion of one battalion in the Engineers. That's it. That cost us 36. Oh yeah, had to top up EZlink, 40. Went wayyy over budget this week.
Had to take cab back too. Had to spend more money again. Missed the train by a few mins. Kinda pissed YM off, I think. Not missing the train, some...other stuff. Long story. In short, in retrospect it probably was my fault so I feel kinda bad. Sigh.

We bleed only because we are human.
BIG QUESTION: Matriculating early, thoughts? Comments? Does Kenneth have an opinion on this? Frankly, no need to show him my blog though...just what he thinks is fine. But assuming he has seen it...disregard the above then...

Booked out after LIFE run. (Apparently it's LIFE now.) Whatever. Like I care after 2 months or so more. Anyway went home, changed, and waited till the time was about right before I left. You know for something like this, people are definitely going to be late. And sure enough, they were. So eventually we made our way down to Raffles Hotel. Had a rich lunch there (in more ways than one) and then they decided to go play LAN. IT's so typical. Whenever they can't think of anything to do they play LAN.
Oh well, on the bright side, it's cheaper then a movie and I don't play that often cos it's not my thing so it's ok I guess. So we went about attempting to blow little digital analogues of each other to pieces. Battlefield wasn't that great because we lost. =.= And there just wasn't anyone to snipe. Damn. I love picking unaware people off from a really high place. However I did get a couple of good shots in with a tank. And ventilated a few people with the mounted machine gun. Unfortunately they won't really be breathing that easily after.
Left4Dead was much much more fun. Haha. Miraculously we survived getting pretty lost in the maze of drains under the city. Everything was just wall, tunnel, waist high shit, and more shit. Running madly headlong into unknown masses of zombies helped us get to the Safe House quick. And although being the insane point man leading them into this zombie madness cost my life, at least 2 people lived. And I got to say "Go on without me!" Lol. Though it kinda sucked that I was scratched to death outside the entrance of Mercy Hospital. Oh yeah, overall we won.
After that, we decided to take a break. So we left, browsed the old books upstairs and then went to this place for chicken rice. Went home after. Would like to lbog a little more creatively but a litttle tired. Haha. Maybe next time.

K lay curled up on his bed, enjoying the cool rainy weather as it poured outside. The sky was iron gray, the clouds a sheet of torrential rain. In the darkening gloom, he drifted away in the soft folds of his blanket...content to be away from this world. Suddenly, two figures barged in in civilian attire, one with a large bag.
"EH! You all know or not? Can go already leh!"
"Waa?Who?Whyye? OKAY! LET'S GO!" K mumbled the first partial words, but by the time he reached OKAY, his brain was up and running and he was positively sprightly as he grabbed his specs and put then on. After confirming the validity of the claim, in less than 2 minutes he was in his bookout clothes and had yanked out his bag, filled with glee. (Him filled with glee, not the bag. Although one wonders what a bag filled with glee would look like...but I digress.)
"EH. Not go home leh! Nights out only!" said one of the civilian-clad heroes aka JR.
"HUH? But you? Your bag?" As it turned out, even though they were having cohesion tomorrow, this was only a nights-out-book out, not a book-out-sleep-at-home-attend-cohesion-book out. Oh well, better than nothing. Jamming some clothes into his bag, they were downstairs and in JR's car in no time.
With nary a look back, they became a pair of fading tailights in the rain. He was positively sure it was his fastest bookout yet. Pity there wasn't a Guinness World Records Official around.
Hmm. Not much on today. Helped out with IPPT, then made it back to the mess for a laksa breakfast which was pretty good. =) Then nothing much went on, except for finishing my last library book. and the aforementioned event. So I came home, did my usual online stuff. Time flies. Need to leave soon. Crap. Haven't had time for dinner. Book in for instant noodles then...
Apparently, guys can't be trusted. So I'm a bastard by association. Lovely. Is that true? So how fucked up am I really? Considering that pretty much by that assumption I am a horrible person too? Am I that bad? Cos I never knew, but then again you can never tell by judging yourself right?

Nothing much today. CO dialogue, then OC dialogue. Haha. Just talking and feedback. Can't sleep in tomorrow. Helping out with IPPT. Rar. A lot of times there's a chance of sleeping in, some thing crops up. :( I've always been on the cutting edge of technology (my 3G phone and super useful data plan), and my GameBoy is too now, relatively speaking. Since MP3s and PSPs are nonexistent. It's like the most popular toy in bunk. :(
Oh well, just gotta get through tomorrow, then Friday is cohesion. Cookies on Saturday! (Note to self: Borrow brown sugar from YM) Next week is going to be busy but the end will be good, with a long break at the end. Thinking of clearing my off. Hmm.

Today was cool. Morning we left for some ord roadshow. They encouraged us to use the credits the army gave us online to pick up courses so we can reintegrate into normal human society and lead normal human lives again. Way to go, pluck us from society, squeeze every last drop from us, them pump us back to normalcy as efficiently as possible and hustle us back as thought nothing ever happened. (wow you really can complain about anything if you really put yourself to it. Lol. And sometimes, you don't even have to.)
Anyway the thing that caught my attention was the language courses, and i think i might take us the French one if possible. =) Magnifique! After that we came back, then went on a mess trip to Asia Pacific Breweries. The places where Tiger Beer is born. Nope, contrary to popular belief, there are no tigers. Just lots and lots of steel piping and tanks. It was pretty cool to see the manufacturing and packaging process.
Afterwards, we experienced a cosmic lining up of two stars of the English language. "Free" and "Beer". (I have GOT to learn how to say that in French.)
And fresh beer from the tap is indeed very different from the can. It tastes nicer, and more palatable. Which means you can drink it faster. I downed 2 plus a little more in the short span of a few minutes and got a nice healthy buzz going. Lately everytime there's been free alcohol, i've been glad to make use of it. Huh.
Nights out, they went JK for tau huay. We came back early to nothing to do.

I finished HIMYM S04! Lol. Attempting to procure S05 now. Basically i woke up and did all my usual online stuff today and finished S04, which only had 13 episodes. Been a long and packed weekend but it's been fun and gratifying. Enjoyed myself. It actually passed quite fast. Looking forward to this week. Tomorrow booking out twice for stuff, and cohesion on Fri. Long break coming at end Nov. The tough part's over. Looking forward to baking cookies this weekend.

Wow this has been a really packed and busy week. I'm surprised I have so much energy. Pretty eventful too. Lol. Okay, from the top.
Sat morning finished my Guard2 duty. Friggin' tiring. I slept like 1 hour only. Somemore it was stressful for most of the night as I had to be on my toes in case they turned out the guards. (I'll need to wake all of them and give them their rifles and rounds and report strength within 4 mins.) In the end it rained till 3 plus and it turned out that there was no turnout. (ha-ha) Well thank goodness. Being really tired, I packed up and went home straight. * Remember this key point.
Next I reached home at 9 plus, rested and unpacked and go ready to go val's place for tuition by 950. By then my body had given up on being tired, seeing as how it was early morning already. Something I've pretty conditioned to, from many nights studying overnight. Val was going suntec in the evening, and since tuition was over, I asked to tag along. =) We then asked XW and Ben out too. So we left.
Since we were rushing for time, we bought along a pack of charsiew rice which she finished in the car. Lol. Ben and xw were on the way, so val stopped by The Face Shop. And promptly got kidnapped. Verbally, by the salesgirl. She bought val on a magical fantasy tour of the shop, proclaiming the virtues of a small bottle of magic juice before cleverly linking it to another similar bottle out of the tens of similar bottles which if used in conjuction with the first bottle of magic juice when the stars align will result in a small bright nuclear explosion, whitening your skin or something. Or other.
I kid. I was listening to the conversation but I couldn't really find a convenient time to hint to val. She only went in considering the masks, and chose the $39.90 one. She went out with $109 in facial products. =X lol. No offence, but it was quite surprising as I watched her defences go down and she just started buying. For the salesgirl it must've been something like 3 hit combo! GOOD! 6 hit! EXCELLENT! K.O.! Face Shop Winner!
After the Face Shop spree, we went to settles some M'sia stuff and went to meet ben and XW. By then they had been waiing about half an hour for us. =X We just met up for about 20 mins before Xw and to go, and so did I. Ben and I took vals car. I just remembered, on the road she said "today, don't need to worry, cos traffic jam I can't drive fast."
Then she started looking for her sunglasses. So I helped too. Shortly after the aforementioned accident, while I was hunting for the spectales worth 4 car rims, there was a THUMP-SHUDDER-SHUDDER-SHUDDER... I looked up with a start and thought we were grazing the kerb. In fact, we had somehow hit the kerb at an odd enough angle for us not to mount it, but to achieve a complete tyre blowout, causing the car to shudder. Our hopes that it was temporary faded when the car shook non stop.
Val stopped the car and we got out. About 30% of the tyre was blown and the rim looked like a particularly hungry metal-eating robot dog had taken a chunk out of it, decided Nissan flavour wasn't to its liking, and spit it out. She got the limping and injured car to the roadside and ben set up the hazard sign. On the job experience then.
We whipped out all the tools and set about fixing the car. I jacked it up while ben tried to remove the nuts. Eventually removed the tyre, and rolled in the new one which was attached below her car. But I was in a bit of a rush so I hailed a cab first though I wish I had been able to help them finish the job. Well it was quite the learning experience.
Went home, changed, and went out. Watched Coraline in Tamp cos it's one of the few w/ 3D technology. Anyway, I think it was kinda good that I haven't watched a 3D movie. Because unlike movies with a 3D option(i.e. UP), this one is a true-blue, dyed in the wool, genny-wine, for sure 3D movie. It's just Coraline in 3D. And it was COOL. The glasses need a little getting used to because although they're not uncomfortable, it's something extra on your face but it was really really fun to watch! I loved the experience. It's so much more successful compared to the old green-red 3D screenings. It's less effort on the eyes. Wonder how it works. Wiki it later, I guess.
After that was supposed to meet up with some army friends for drinks but they didn't tell me it was off. =.= They figure i'd call or sms b4 I came. =\ Oh well. I still had a direct route so I wasn't too troubled. Went home, online till about 340 something. Slept, woke at 545 today. 3 hours of sleep in 2 days. RAR. Quite tired in the morning which wore off. Picked up at 630, drove to town area. helping out with APEC, security stuff. Very interesting experience. Quite liked it. Freaking cool.
After that went to Raffles City Subway for breakfast, then took MRT back. Found out YM and his bro and SW were watching 2012 at 1130. Turned back and YM booked a ticket for me too. Changed out of work clothes in the toilet. I knew extra clothes would come in handy. =) 2012 was epic. Not that it was VERY good, (firstly the plot is a tad thin) but mostly because everything happends on such an EPIC (in capitals) scale.
Plots thin but for a movie like this, I think the plot is just a metaphorical hanger to hang a really BOOMZ metaphorical suit on. And this suit is the whole host of disasters that ravage the earth like its 50% off on destruction for the Closing Down sale. Sure some scenes are TOO coincidental, and some too implausible, (can they really drive a car through a superquake and have EVERYTHING miss them?) but the pure visual splendour is awesome. The graphics are amazing.
It sorta taps into the little perverse side of us that delights in seeing things fall and stuff go BOOM. Without the z. Somehow you derive pleasure from seeing the fall of man and all his building go tumbling like so many LEGO towers. How easily our consrtuctions may be overwhelming. Sure there's the lives lost and damage and sad stories, but i already said it was a perverse side. If you're the type who built LEGO stuff to stomp them flat cos it was fun, this is definitely beyond your wildest dreams. Contrived, but fun to watch as long as you don't take it too seriously.
After that, went to compass point to have lunch with YM and came home. Wanted to go out tonight but XW and the Val are studying. See how. Maybe supper. =)

90 days more. Less if you count working days. Watched them play Risk today. From most of 2 till 11. Haha. Phone got bumped off the table by someone else. Sigh. Hoping not to hurt this phone too much because it's super good. Not going to trade it in after i ord. After quite a few drops it was a little messed up, but drop a few times more and it somehow fixed itself and didn't take much more damage. Still, i feel sorry for it. Tomorrow will be a Friday with duty. Bleah. Just when people ask me out. Unlucky. Big time.
Growing old is mandatory,
growing up is optional.
Thought we opt to do so,
it involves a whole lotta pain we could do without.

Not much of interest today. Slept a lil overtime today, and it was GREAT. Heh. Read a bit, and went to do up the Heritage Room after lunch. Hmm. It's probably a lot better now but I still might need to find a way to mount up all those photos and frames and commendations and events and whatnot. I also had the chance to mess around with a few WWII-era gas masks(kinda cool actually), if by mess around you mean shift around from case to case, touching their sometimes icky, flaky, rusty, rotted rubber.
Still need to get rid of all the excess stuff inside, which consists of several information boards and literally hundreds, if not thousands of photos. Probably can shift it somewhere, but that's a problem for later. I think if we put in effort we could like plaster the ceiling with the amount of photos we have. =.= Lol. Friday approaching. Sigh. Well at least it's not a full day of duty (that was a killer). Probably not gonna sleep anyway. Save my novel to read then.

Monday, nothing interesting. Started pokemon. Just caught Mew today. Haha! It's a splendid time killer. Today, we went Plaza Sing on nights out. Not bad. Walked to Orchard Central. We went Gelare for waffles and ice cream because it was half price waffles day. Yum. This cute girl sat at the table opposite ours but back facing us. :( Life is good with cars. We just pile in and go off. Grr. Guard2 on Friday. Annoying.

Woke up, watched TV. I wanted to bake cookies but I had no brown sugar. Maybe next week. No time to finish HIMYM too. =( That's the thing about the weekends. Sometimes it's just too little time, too many options. I settled for watching my recorded shows. Well at least I'll be bringing in TIME, my library books and Pokemon Yellow. Oh I also passed my GBA to ben in the evening.
Woke up at 8 plus with only 4 hours of sleep. Dunno why I wake up so early for. Stupid camp life. Everyday wake up before 8. No wonder I outside still wake earlier and earlier than before. KNS. Went down to val's place for tuition, decided to go through basic techniques for answering questions. There seems to be improvement. I hope her sis does better for this test. It would at least be a proof of concept that I actually am helping.
Later went Ion with Shawn. YM asked about dinner at 6 and I was gonna pass Ben my GBA at 6 but both were cancelled in the end. Walked about Ion and got dragged into all the atas shops. Hugo Boss la, D&G la, Burberry la,etc. I saw this really cute Pokemon shirt at Uniqlo going for $22 which I really wanted. I ended up going for a $220 Burberry Polo. Yes. You read that right. It was not a typo. My only excuse is: BUT it was so niceeeee... =X
And on the bright side, my pay is coming and I haven't shopped in months. =X After that went home for dinner and then to Ym's place. Heinvited us over, but he was so tired after his field camp, we didn't do much besides watch TV. =S I wanna bake cookies tomorrow.

95. Where did I leave off? Hmm. Anyway, Thurday, went to see RSM about the room. Looks like I've got a little more work ahead of me. Sigh. I caught The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor in the mess. It was amazingly funny and weird. Like, a mixture of Iron Man+Star Wars+300+LOTR a whole host of other movies. Like what you'd get if you threw their signature scenes together and swapped the cast around a bit. I mean the Emperor has Force-like powers! And there's a magic dagger and panoramic Epic Undead Army VS Epic Army scene. LOTR anyone?
The limit came when they introduced the Abominable Snowmen. YES. Men as in M-E-N. Not ONE, but THREE of them. Yeti, if you prefer. I know for some movies you are supposed to suspend your disbelief, but multiple Yeti? And Shangri-La? I suppose there'll be Santa in a rocket-propelled sleigh as a supporting actor? Lol. I was like WTF?! This was starting to look really ludicrous. And it was really getting good because the Mummy Emperor could transform into a three-headed dragon a la the finest in Monster Hunter, and also into a very stunning resemblance of Jet Li. Unfortunately I had to leave for my aforementioned meeting.
In the evening, we had Mess Initiation. YES. HAHA. I've been waiting for this for very long. It was so fun. I was right in convincing, cajoling, persuading, and bullying him into doing it. Okay, not so much the last bit. But he DID take a significant amount of nudging before he got down to it.
Basically the uninitiated follow a simple ceremony to enter the mess at a half-march, step up onto a bench (together), down a beer with the requisite lines that must be spoken, and then proceed to introduce themselves. Next within a set time, the floor is allowed to ask them a question about the unit. If they get it wrong, they drink. That's it. =) And because the higher-ranked are around, you will hear stuff like who was the first so-and-so, and who held this position, stuff they won't know. Muahahaha.
It's been a while since I sought refuge in alcohol, so I decided to really find a nice refuge this time, and just enjoy. It took 4 beers to get me slightly buzzed. =( So I had 5, enjoyed the feeling and took part in the drunken-high karaoke singalong on the mess' new karaoke machine. So fun. The buzz managed to last until I went to bed, which was good cos it felt really great to be lying on a bed, until I was woken at 8 today by some grass-cutters. =.= Spoil my sleep. Can't imagine what that sound would have done to someone with a hangover. Lol.
So, did the same old usual, read in bunk, booked out a little earlier than usual today. Going out for movie with Val, Ben and Xw later. YAY. =D

Man, i'm bored. Nothing much today. PC interview. Never expected it but i wound up talking about issues with the company and...stuff. So emo. :( Oh well, he's ORDing soon anyway. Sigh. Got back to bunk and didn't feel like reading. Yet, i can't listen to music. Neither can i kill Nazis on my PSP. Just nothing. Oh boy. An SMS! I wonder who might it be OH SHIT. Shit shit shit.

Cleared combat shoot today. Day was ok. Night, was as usual, not that great. However should be a pass. Dunno what happened to my detail though. Sigh. Got one of the lowest out of day shoot. However i'm fairly certain i got 12 out of 15. =/ Well that's the last of the ranges, i hope. Tomorrow i think i might have to deal with the intercontinental ballistic missile that is the heritage room. =.=

Coraline was calceled. Cos my friend was tired. So I stayed home today. And tended to my crops on my virutal farm. Watched my recorded shows. Digital cable is fantastic. I can save all my shows for the weekend. Watched a little bit of HIMYM. Just might be able to finish it. Booking in again. =( So I got down to the library. Unable to find Atlass Shrugged. Damn. =( I got another Lovecraft though. =) On the bright side tomorrow is 99 days.
99 days to ORD,
99 days to go!
