I was so tired today morning. >< Nearly couldn't wake up. I ended up quite late in meeting ben and rainnie cos I had to go hm first. Made it to Tamp, where we watched Madagascar. Missed a bit of the beginning. Went down to SITEX. Crowded. Lol. I got myself a pair of Audio Technica headphones for $79.20. Quite nice. =] After that, ate a little at WS macs and went home. Booking in again tonight but Tues should be fun.

Saturday, November 29, 2008

Didn't do much today. Been reading this book I picked up at Popular. The Body Language Bible. Quite an interesting read. Might occupy my time. I've got duty next Wed. Gasp. =X Hope I don't screw up. Probably go cycling tonight. Going SITEX tomorrow. Anyways I lent XW my plastic muggers, which I just realised. Now I can't do any comics. =[

Things seem kinda boring now, for some reason. =[ Can't wait for stuff to happen. Tomorrow, SITEX(?) if I can wake up, and recce on Tues. Awesome. Mt Faber. ^^ Heheheh can't wait. Cause my company's organising the thing, we have to prepare for it. Looks cool. I think I haven't gone to Mt. Faber before, or if I have, I've forgotten. Should be fun.

Duty on Wed. Eep. Book out on Thurs! Meeting at Mt. Faber on Fri! Half day hike, then, off to chalet! My dad booked it from Fri to Mon. Since my family will be coming from Fri to Sun, we can have it ALL to OURSELVES. ^^ Sun morn to Mon. Sadly Ben will be overseas. But Val and Tak and XW are coming. XW has some stuff on outside but she'll return.

Unfortunately, any hopes of going overseas for the rest of this year are dashed. They made me clear my leave. So, boo to any chance of taking off with my friends and going somewhere else. But next year is still open. =] Duty on 24th Dec till X'mas morning. RAWR. No outings then too. At least I didn't burn any weekends this month. That's some consolation.

Gee, with no one tagging it feels like I'm talking to myself. =.=
Why noonewanna comment on the interesting events of my mess initiation? Bleahs. Anyways Friday was alright. Did some admin work for the Out-camp Hike next Fri. So fun. Very long nv do admin work already. Looks like I'll be visiting Henderson Waves earlier than expected I guess. Ought to be interesting. Maybe I'll bring camera. Anyone interested in joining me after the event?

Oh oh, and my family's got a chalet on 5-7th, but it's free for us to take over from Sun to Mon. Yay! Can't wait for Sun. Unfortunately I got duty on the 24th of Dec. There goes my Xmas eve.

Last night didn't do much. Went out for dinner with my family, went to YM's house. We went to a small cafe near his house. Order food and drink. Drink until mildly high, then we played Bluff, The number 3 Game, and Uno. Lol. It was fun. We slurred our words on purpose, so when playing Uno, blue came out as bROOO. =.=

Thursday, November 27, 2008

Didn't do much today. We had mess initiation. Had to answer questions in front of all the "vetarans". I had two glasses of warm beer. Ugh. I still held my own. But thankfully it was just two. I don't really like beer. Lol. I got off quite easy. Some people had to drink like 5 glasses of various drinks. Someone (shall not mention names) performed a commendable impression of the Merlion 4 times.

Someone else got half drunk and tried to force-feed me another can. I mentioned that it was a good time to rip off people's formation badges (velcroed), and the whole half-drunk lot of us started ripping off badges, pasting them upside down, yanking out berets from shoulders, and unvelcro-ing smart 4s. Someone...rang the mess ball so hard it went ding-DONG and smacked his forehead on the return journey, earning him a nasty cut, and a free trip to Nee Soon Medical Centre, do not pass GO, do not collect $200. =P Oh, I just heard, he needs stitches. Ow.

Oh and we are NOT drunk. High, not drunk. Different. =P I still plan on sleeping in tomorrow though. ^^

"Wah, you all like chalet ar...wake up then go play game le."

-3SG Tommy, upon seeing us play Risk

Today was alright. We woke up for breakfast, and then returned to bunk to sleep in. Till 9. Played till 11 plus, when we went down to have a short session with someone. Had lunch, came back to continue. I took over the entire southern half of the world, but was constricted at my exit points. Turning point came when we forced White to surrender. Took his cards and split his lands. Things became easy.

Broke through, built up my defences, and tussled with Blue a little. Managed to punch through his defence and he realised his mistake. The weak underbelly was Ukraine. There were a few sparsely defended lands around it only. I overran them. Split blue up. Surrounded his strongholds and cut them off. He fought back a little, but was finished off next turn. That left me and Red, who controlled America and part of Asia. Red conceded. Veni, vedi, veci.

Read PnP for the rest of the day. don't let my blogs fool you though. This period won't last forever. So I'm enjoying it as much as I can now. Plus some of the other platoons have stuff to do too. I'm just lucky. Lol.

今天又没有做什么。

I lazed around. Didn't feel like playing Risk. Controlling a glorious bloodthirsty army surging across entire continents somehow loses its glamour after you've thrown the dice for the 136th time, and removed your 52nd plastic soldier from the godforsaken plains of inner Mongolia for the 8th time. Your soldiers would have been bored to death by this point,. In fact, I think they'd rather the die crush them to death rather than endure this long protracted war.

Played some Magic, read PnP, listened to the radio. I was so bored I actually fell in all the tiny Risk game pieces into battalion level. 3 colours, white, black, and green all laid out neatly, ready for a battle of epic plastic proportions. Now THAT would have been worth a picture. I went back to reading PnP, but fell asleep soon after, for want of something to do. If you'd told me just two months earlier I'd be spending most of my time in the bunk, thinking of nefarious schemes to take over the world, I would have laughed and quietly prayed for your sanity.

Now, well, I don't quite know what to say. Uh. Oh yeah, I think my nights out have been returned to Tues and Thurs. The horror. I was quite devastated at first, but have since gotten over it and am now a better man. (Ha-ha! ) Nah, at least I still can go home tomorrow, and I'll be saving on effort and money. So it's quite alright. Tues and Thurs? Yeah, I could work with that. Besides, who am i to complain? What with the way my days are going, I should enjoy it while I can. =]

I am also considering way to improve myself. Currently people inside are studying for their BTTs (I need to remember to register on the weekends.), SATs (Not applicable to me), and holding TTTs(Table Tennis Tournaments, with two old bats, someone's paddles and balls, and a ratty old net.) Someone's studying a little bit of psychology simply for the sake of learning it. Looks interesting. Maybe I should try. Can I like learn of bit of it in uni? Might help in Industrial Design. Lol.

我今天没做什么。呆在家吧。看电视咯。《The Simpsons Movie》现在在播。 但这个software(I dunno what the chinese characters for software look like, only how they sound.)不错。看来我需要book in了。

Sometimes the pursuit of impossible goals is the only thing that keeps us moving forward.

Went to watch Body of Lies yesterday night at Vivo. Was quite alright, but I don't find it really special or fantastic. Just ok. I thought it was some complex spy thriller, but it was really very simple actually. Not a bad movie, but so-so. Had coffee at starbucks before that, and then crashed at YM's place till the morning when I went home to sleep. Not too sure what esle I can do today. Probably go out for sa haircut, maybe spend my day playing Silkroad. Tomorrow going out to meet my friedns from SISPEC. Might be interesting.

[UPDATE]
Nothing much really. I went to cut my hair earlier, and then went to play Silkroad. Leveled up once. -Yawn- What I want right now is to go out with my friends, maybe for dinner or supper or something. It's boring being cooped up at home. OKAY, finished my game!

Going out for supper with the guys at Jalan Kayu. Prata. so near my camp too. Lol.
[/UPDATE]

Friday, November 21, 2008

Yeah the weekend is here! To all my uni friends I wish you all the best of luck in your papers. =] Had a 5km run today. Lol. After that, had breakfast in the mess. Today is Unit Safety day. Went back, played Risk which was quite fun actually. =P I started out at several points in the good ol' US of A, and had really good locations. I vanquished some opposition before taking over the entire continent.

While playing Obama, I invaded Russia and took over some lands to get the land cards which can be swapped for reinforcements later in the game. Unfortunately, I forgot that I conquered these lands only for resources, and did not build up enough defences, instead leaving them in the freezing wastes of Northeastern Russia. I was attacked from the funnel of Central America, and lost my moderate defending force. Severely weakened, I rallied my forces for a vicious counterattack, but not before losing Central America.

We tussled over Central America for quite a few times, each taking losses, until I had the entire Easten United States and Western United States overrun. I took a big risk, seeing as I was so weak now no one would attack me too, and gathered all available reinforcements from my lands, and ran through the US, regaining Central America. I could had overrun into South America in a rout, taking all his one-man lands, but I was afraid I'd spread myself out too much.

He rallied too, summoning a huge army, and we clashed at the tiny border that was between Venezuela and Central America. 12 VS 12 units, free-for-all, Battle Royale. He tried hard, but my men held, and he failed to invade. Holding the continent of North America, I could now gain 5 more reinforcements per turn.

You realise that through all this, there are huge battles taking place all over the world in various places from the other 2 players, which makes Risk a LONG protracted game. Now with America under my control, and appearing weak, I amassed a growing army in the United States while the other superpowers tussled in Asia, and I blockaded Red till he was entirely confined to South America, and on a short leash.

In Asia, Black sent in a massive army through the Middle East from Africa, and in a massive two-pronged attack, attempted to take White's Fortress of Siam. Though outnumbered, White's men fought bravely and blunted the force of Black's attack. The two armies arrived at Siam battered, and were held off. White came back with a swift counterattack, destroying the Asian forces of Black even though he was going to retreat anyway. Meanwhile, Red decided to find another way out of S. America, and managed to punch into North Africa. Black had to regroup and re-take his land.

Green, which once held Europe was also vanquished completely by Black, and all his forces obliterated. The map now stands at Middle: Africa, Europe - Black; Bottom Left: S. America - Red (Constrained) Top Left - Blue (Weakened, but slowly coming back) Right - Bit of blue(once there for the land cards), White (Highly defended point of Australia, and a big swathe of Asia)

From this lengthy description you can see how this game lasted hours, and was still put on hold because of our book out. Lol. Right now my current strategy is to gain a bit of land for the cards, swap them for a MASSIVE army, and turn America into FORTRESS USA. Then...I shall scheme. I've already nibbled into Iceland, denying Black the 3 men bonus that comes from holding Europe.

If they ignore me long enough, I may be able to pull this off. If not, I'll go down fighting. That was what I planned to do when I was critically wounded. I've amassed my forces in America, and I'm going to make them pay for killing me, if they try it. I'll take as much of them out as I can before I go down. It's going to be a long expensive price to pay for America, land of the free, home of the brave. Go Blue force!

And yes, that was pretty much all I did today. There was a safety talk, but, notihng that interesting.

Back! Got my nights out today. Lol. Life in Bravo is quite alright, I'm adjusting I guess. It's nice place and I'm counting my lucky stars. =] I can see the book-out road from my window. ^^ I mounted my speakers behind me for some surround sound entertainment, and I wonder if I can find a small cheap radio somewhere. My MP3 dangles from the 'roof' above me, and when I'm listening to it too. It looks quite cool to have the wires dangle all the way to a small black pouch hanging from the Grid. That's what I'm going to call it. The Grid. That's how cool it is.

It's a nice place to hang my Engineer gloves and camp pass, which I've mentioned, and I'm thinking of other stuff that can be made more accessible. I might put some more photos up on the Grid too. I bemoan the lack of a small cupboard, so I can keep the clothes I have worn, and will be wearing regularly, i.e. admin set/breakfast/bunk clothes; pt set. But it's so much more fun when you can customise your personal space.

We also slung a ladder across two beds to make a neat rack where you can hang clothes you want to air. ^^ This place is fun. Lol. Anyway, I met my PC and PS today. They seem like nice people, especially my PC. My PS is a funny one. Self-professed hokkien peng. =P

Basically just read PnP and listened to music and watched the other guys play Risk today. I found the part where Mr. Collins asked for Elizabeth's hand ridiculously funny. =D And...That's about it. Going to leave the house at 945 to catch the bus, book in around 1030. Maybe I can leave later, depends. Latest time to book in is 2300. ^^

I had a thought. A sucky thought. A small little sneaky thought. I crushed it. It was just a thought.

It came back in the night like a foul little demon; and stole his life away.

Wednesday, November 19, 2008

Hey, back here again. Din get the chance yest. I had a really really weird dream las night. Creepy really. Thinking of it gives me the shivers.

I dreamt I was doing my own thing happily, when suddenly scars began to show up on my hands. My two arms began to look horribly mutilated and scarred, as through they had been chopped into chunks and glued poorly back together again. Thick circular scars encircled each arm 3 or 4 times, as though a large knife had been used to neatly go around the circumference of each arm in one long cut. Yellow dried pus clung onto deep wounds on my hands that were only just healed.

I freaked out, and then somehow upon inquiring with someone, I learnt that some time ago during the exam period, I had attempted to kill myself and severely mutilated my arms, cutting myself with the penknife I keep under my desk at home. I just cut around each arm, splitting the flesh into several segments. On the edge of death, some friends rushed to my rescue and they got me to the hospital. the doctor managed to save me, but I was left with these arms that looked like disjointed chunks of ham stuck together on a stick. Then one day the pigment injected into my arms faded, revealing the scars and revealing the horrible truth.

It was quite a vivid dream. Not really a nightmare, but more of something seriously disturbing. =[ However, the rest of today was ok. We split up to our respective companies, and it is a bit sad to see my friends go off, but at least our companies are close to each other. Can still see each other more lah. =] Then we were told to help out clear some vegetation behind the building, and I hacked and slashed at the branches of a small woody plant around my tree, and did battle with fiery red ants and tiny black ones.

Then we went up to bunk, cleaned up our cupboards, unpacked, and clean the toilet, voluntarily. Lol. It's different sleeping in a double decker bed, but life in the lower bunk is fun! I can customise my own space and hang stuff from the bed above, and make my bed all mine. I hang my MP3, and camp pass and engineer gloves above me. So cool!I thought having double deckers would be damn sian and cramped, but it turned out our bunk seems really cosy and nice to live in. ^^ I love Seletar.

(Anyways I'm REALLY bored. Can someone like Superpoke me or something? lol.)

Oh yeah, and since Bravo is waiting for pioneers to come in, it's having a "lull period" which means we can have nights out. Yeah! But we're staying in to keep the Alpha people company. See our course is so nice. =D

"Please, do not march to the cookhouse, ok?"
-CPT G

Hello. No prizes for guessing where I am. Lol. Today was alright. Mostly lectures in our Unit Induction Program. Tomorrow we'll most likely find out our posting to which company. Feels different wearing a 'new' uniform. After so long the day has finally come. With some power comes a certain amount of responsibility. But it feels nice. =]

[UPDATE]
Back again. Our day ended quite early today. Spent our time in bunk playing, of all things, Truth or Dare. Or rather, Truth or Truth since everyone was too afraid to contemplate what we might be asked to do. Then dinner.
[/UPDATE]
Spent the home day slacking at home watching TV. Went out in the evening. Was a complicated and confusing process because we got shawn, ym, and the twins to come, then sixu says he gotta book in, can't make it, then shawn says he's tired and can't make it. Then YM wants it at 7:15, and oh forget it. Let's just say it was a LONG story, with a lot of variables including cinema, movie, and timing, and the people coming.

Eventually though, Shawn YM, and I went down to Vivo as Shawn wanted to collect something, and we shopped around a little. Saw a nice pair at River Island, then walked around some more. Settled for a pair from Geox. They feel pretty good. It was $208, but thanks to a mysterious 40% discount, I got them for $124.80. Wow.

Went over to cine, bought 4 tix to see Madagascar. Went down to Gloria Jean's for coffee. $3 a regular ice blended, so I got it for them. Madagascar 2 was not bad. The plot is a bit thin, but it's pretty damn funny. Lol. Everyone was laughing throughout. Some of the lines are darn good. I give it 4 out of 5. The plot may be weak, but the humor will ensure you're entertained. =P

"Hurry up, before we come to our senses!"

Uh. Gee. I got wasted last night. Totally smashed. I think I've had enough clubbing for a while. Haha. I think it was a little scary. I can't remember lots of stuff. Had Vodka Orange, one Graveyard, B-52, Flaming Lambo, and most of one jug of Long Island. I think it was the Graveyard. Pow. Somehow got separated from the rest, and in semi-consciousness I made it outside, which some of the guys from Bridging Engineers found me. They helped a lot. Thanks guys.

Threw up a little outside, they got me sobered up a little and got me a cab home, where I just KO'ed on the sofa. Kudos to the cab driver too, was a great help. Last night was a little too extreme, but at least now I know where my limits are. And Dylan lost his ipod touch. =\ Looking at this description, I think I better tone down things a little. This is not a path I want to go further down. Lol.

What I did last night was pretty stupid and reckless. At least I have the sense to acknowledge that, which means I'm not too far gone. I feel stupid but I'm lucky I made it home in one piece. =X This is not the way to live life. At least not to this extreme.

Basically I don't know what to say about last night. It was fun, but not something I wanna repeat ever again. Everything in moderation, and I've had enough for quite some time. Maybe things will settle down from here. This is not the kind of life for me, not on a regular basis I guess. I want to watch movies. I want to go out with my friends again. Just go out and enjoy life in daylight for once.=.=

Maybe I've been a little lost, but I think I'm finding my way back now. Back to the old me.

Friday, November 14, 2008

Hoho. 3SG le. Will upload photos tomorrow. I'm going off to Zouk. Ceremony was not bad. My mum managed to switch shifts and my dad got urgent leave so they both made it there. Took quite a few photos with my coursemates. Look out for them on FB.

Thursday, November 13, 2008

Nothing much today. Lecture, prepared for the ceremony today. In case anyone wants to know, I'm becoming 3SG tomorrow. Yup. Something simple, just the presentation of a certificate. No grand parades and such. Lol. Good too, because I ABSOLUTELY HATE rehearsals. You have to do the sme old thing over and over and oer again and it's just so boring and frustrating. Just enough times to get the thing right and that's it. Which is why this ceremony just takes only a few tries to settle everything.

However because they only informed us at the last minute, and the exact date of our course ending was still unclear till very late, I don't know if my mum will be able to switch shifts. My dad will be working. And thanks to their impeccable timing, all my friends will be having exams, so most probably noone will be attending. Well, it's no big deal. Some people don't have anyone coming too. It's alright I guess. It's going to be really far for my friends too. Lol.

"All the people who don't have anyone coming should join us, then we can drown our sorrows."
-Can't rmb who said this, on Fri's planned trip to Zouk. Lol!

Ah yeah. Going Zouk tomorrow night. Most likely will still be on, unlike the last one =.= which will probably be on when the cadets return from Thailand. I'm going to get my drinks from Dylan. Hehs. And I'm going to try and get smashed. Bridging people went Mambo yest night! CRAZY. lol. I wanna get a Graveyard, and a B-52 again. Tak can we go drinking next time? That time u wanted right? Heheh...=P

Something random: I feel like getting contacts just to try it out. Do I look better w/o specs? Lol!

Wednesday, November 12, 2008

"Eh, I can't take this anymore. Let's go for a walk." Eric said to K, as he stood up.

"Yeah, let's go out for a while."

They had just finished what seemed like more than an hour long talk by a warrant who was elaborating on the benefits of joining the army, during which K had trouble opening his eyes. Now, the guy from the recruitment centre was at the corner of the room, waiting to answer any queries.

As they were about to pass by, Eric saw Andrew raise his hand in a "What?" gesture, asking where they were going.

Eric grinned and pointed at the guy, making the motion of signing a piece of paper with his hand. "We're signing on," was what he was implying. K looked at Andrew and the guy and grinned and nodded eagerly.

Andrew gave then the =.= face and flipped them the finger.

They burst out laughing.

Today was boring. lectures lectures lectures. -Yawn- Our consolidation week was supposed to finish off the course and all other items we haven't gone through, but it's turned up to be a tying up of loose ends week. Besides going through all manner of random topics, and inducing us into a highly placid trace-like state of deep hypnotism, they turn your brain into a state much resembling melted yam ice cream and force you into epic battles with the Z monster.

We are occasionally used as the friendly neighbourhood cleaner as we cleaned up 3 floors toilets and staircases yesterday, even thoguh we're not staying there. Haha. Today, we tidied up 4 storeroom, and put everything neatly. It's pretty amazing to see how fast things can be straightened our if you get enough manpower (and enough motivation for them; i.e. book out) to do the job.

Of course we were very happy to leave once we finished all the lectures, and all in all, it was an alright day, if not for the SERIOUSLY mind-numding lectures. =[ Oh, and the sole of one of my sneakers has split open and because it was raining when we left today, my foot got wet. Time to go shopping!~ Hoho. Went to Upper Thompson to eat prata with osme of the guys. Food was not too bad, but my "mee goreng mutton" did not appear to have any visible parts of mutton inside, along with it being 4.50 for a kinda small plate.

The fun part was when the guy came to take our order. Then he just memorised everything. There were 12 of us. We thought that was quite 'up'. Well, it turned out some orders were messed up when we were served the food, but you can't blame him for trying. It was a good effort. =P

Tuesday, November 11, 2008

I'm back! Today was alright. Just settled osme administrative stuff before going to ETI. Returned our 3/4 weeks old bedsheets(yecch.), and exchanged our temporary pass for ANOTHER temporary pass. =S Then waited for the bus to come. ETI was ok, although better, probably because we're going to pass out soon. =P We can take the lift now. Hoho. JUst had some lectures today, before a little area cleaning and book out. I dunno should I cut my hair. Rawr.

MSN's hotmail is acting up. =.= The new "upgrade" isn't all it's worth. Stupid crap.
I'm going off to ETI today. But, fortunately it's stay-out! Yay! haha. Means I get to go home. I'll just be back there till Fri till the ceremony's done and we come back here.

Sunday, November 09, 2008

Went to YM's home to ride my bike back and get my HP book back form Eliza. I bought a drink, and went to throw it away. I had pushed my bike with me EVERYWHERE, and only just decided to leave it for a moment. Then just as I was walking to the trash bin, I saw Eliza, and she passed me my book. Went back, put the book in. Was going off and wanted to turn on my MP3 when I realised that the earphones which I put in the basket were gone. Someone stole them.

I hope they die in the most horrible and painful slow way imaginable, involving large amounts of suffering and sadness and despair. Oh well. They cost about 15 or 19, I can't remember which so it's not TOO bad, but I am still pissed off about my earphones. Is ear cancer a painful, drawn-out, debilitating disease? Hmm. =.=

Went home, played SR. That's all I guess. Booking in tomorrow morning. Got a lot of stuff.

Saturday, November 08, 2008

Slae was crap. Nothing nice. Spent most of the morninhg at home. Went all the way there for nothing. Went over to Ym's house to watch him play SR and powerlevel him a little. Came home, and played SR till they went to sleep. Nothing much else. Tomorrow morning going over to YM's house to get my bike and cycle down to HG to meet Eliza. Lol. That's about it I guess. Good luck to everyone taking exams now!
Went to watch Quantum of Solace with YM, Shawn and the twins today. Full of action-packed sequences. Was okay I guess, though some might find it boring. I think I almost dozed off, and I don't know their reasoning for picking an 11pm movie. Midnight movies at this time only make me more prone to sleeping, and incur a midnight cab fare, something not really friendly to my finances. Especially when it's like $10 home compared to an MRT ride. =\

Think going to the CLub 21 sale tomorrow. Nothing much else. Might be dropping by YM's house to ride my bike home tomorrow.

Thursday, November 06, 2008

Back home! Half day leave today. They had an anniversary celebration. Need to stitch up my uniforms with the new badges before next week. Nothing much else I guess. Had a brief scare with the internet but it's back up. Went bowling, ok I guess. booking in tomorrow morning so I can book out at 7pm. =.= While some of them head off to Family Day at Sentosa. What? So we don't have family lah? =[

Book in and out within one day is just...anyway, Zouk on Saturday. Maybe we can get most of the course down. and I'm already feeling guilty spending so much even though besides the fact that payday is around the corner. Nevermind. Dylan still owes me a drink (or two) from the Flaming Lambo. Heheh.

Wednesday, November 05, 2008

Back again. Had nights out last night. Wasn't too bad. Lol. Went to play LAN for the first time because EVERYBODY else wanted to play. =\ It was alright I guess. Haha. I am not a particular fan of peering at a one of the hundreds of computers in a dark room, slaughtering the people around me online.

Nevertheless it was quite an amusing experience.

We played the quintessial classic of all LAN games, Counter-strike, of which i spent the first few mins bored out of my mind, just recklessly dashing everywhere and getting killed. Then I started laughing, because I ran straight into enemy territory, turned two corners and popped up behind 2 guys.

I did something no sane combatant would do, which was to fire at the second of the two guys on full auto and run at him until he fell to the ground. Then while I had to reload, the first guy was still running away from me, unaware of my predicament. So I ran towards him, and just as he turned around to return fire, I opened up with a hail of lead, killing him. I turned the corner and was shot in the back.

The sniper map was fun in CS. Lol. In Battlefield 2, I climbed up onto buildings and a crane like some hellish monkey, taking out people hundreds of metres away with my sniper rifle. Then I crept around buildings and destryoed tanks. then I spawned miraculously behind Kelvin and opened up into his head, such that his head turned into dust.

So...it was an interesting experiece, but I don't think it will develop into a habit. Lol. I'm still not that attracted to LAN. It's fun in its own way, but not really my thing I guess. We had pizza after. Then booked in just nice near 2300. Not that much to do today. Lol.

[UPDATE]
Went to watch a DVD after lunch in the com lab. Some film about a simulated radiological terrorist attack in London, called Dirty War. It was pretty nice, though the ending wasn't so great. But it was quite a good film, and of course, relevant to our vocation. Haha. =P Back in mess after dinner.

Hello! i'm back again! Today did nothing much really. Listened to 987 in the morning, went down to a room titled Resource Library and spent some time there. There were no books. Imagine that! A library with no books! Just tables and chairs. Had lunch, came down to the com room. There should be something for us to do later i think. Possibly nights out. Lol. Maybe a movie. But Quantum of solace is not out yet. Hmm...

Hoho. I'm in mess now. Breakfast was not indented so had cup noodles for breakfast this morning. How unhealthy. =\ Reported and had a 2k run. Gosh, haven't run in ages. Lol. Quite alright though I think I deproved. Still can do quite a few pull-ups, thank goodness. Lol. Haven't been doing much the past few weeks cos of exercise and leave. Then went to fill out a coupla forms, and basically th whole day is ours, I think. Lol.

So going for lunch at 12, then probably going down to the emart later. And...I dunno what else.

[UPDATE]
Went to the emart after lunch. Was supposed to be open but mysteriously the vendor wasn't there. =[ Wasted a trip. Had to walk so far too. So ended up having ice cream over in the canteen and walking back. Didn't do much else after that. Haha. Wish I could call my friends but they're all having exams. Rawr. Couple more weeks ba. Haha. There's nothing much else to do. I've finished The White Tiger, and restarted on Pride and Prejudice which I put on hold after enlisting. Quite nice, and I find the characters very amusing. Lol. I know I can't read as much into it as the Lit students do, but it's still fun to read.

Went cycling last night. Really far. It's the first time we cycled until we were really tired, so I guess now we know where our limits are. Quite an interesting route, though the beginning is a little tricky. It was part of the way down to tak's place actually but htey wanted to go farther so we deviated to Bukit Timah. You can really feel the riches in the air there. The trees might as well be growing dollar notes.

Was a really big NW loop, reaching Woodlands along the MRT. Went home and slept all the way till 6 plus before I woke up. Going to book in soon.

Ah yes, went out again today. Lol. Had dinner at home so not too bad. Wanted to meet up at 7 but turned out everyone was amazingly late. I have a strange feeling we should stop setting tight timings, or at least, not say YES to those timings, especially when you have 10 mins to bathe, eat dinner and leave. LOL. Yes, I am referring to myself, although having to be at a place given 40 mins notice while nothing is prepared is also a tad pushing it.

Watched Tropic Thunder (again) with XW, Ben, Shurong, and his friend whose name eludes me. Watching it again, but I wasn't going to complain since I got to meet up with my friends. Was quite alright. Still funny the second time around. We were wondering whether to stay out a while more, but ben wanted to go home since he came from camp so we went home instead. Just as well. The guy spends money like a three-handed gambling addict in Las Vegas. LOL. 700 billion from the US isn't helping the economy much, so just keep your pay with you for now, yeah? =P

And before I forget:
TAK the next time we go out we are going to drag you here even it means tying you to wild horses and FedEx-ing those wild horses here from the plains of America for that sole purpose. =[
