Went for the Tao Nan briefing today. Met Ben then took bus 43 all the way on a very long ride to Marine Parade. Realised I came to this area a few times before. MEt XW before going in. Spent about half an hours before leaving. For another long bus ride. Ben stated on the form we were supposed to fill out:

Math was...uh...ok? Basically I only like statistics. Lol. It's not as taxing as pure math. After that, went home to rest a bit before leaving to watch TRANSFORMERSSS!!! with YM, Sixu, and Siwei. Then my phone died on the bus, before I could call to find out where to meet. It felt totally weird without my phone. We've all grown so attached to the convenience of being contactable almost anywhere that it becomes almost impossible for us to communicate otherwise. I couldn't think of any other way to contact them.
The only idea I had was to buy a phonecard from a 7-11 or something, call Shawn and then ask him for either one of the twins number because I didn't remember it. Yet another inadvertent negative effect of being too hooked on handphones. As I passed through Tamp interchange, I was wondering if because of the high volume of human traffic here, I might meet someone I knew. I considered the chances of that and dismissed the thought.
And then I saw Pris(the one from my class lol). I was stunned for a few seconds. I took quite a few seconds to unlock my MP3 player, pause it, and get through the crowd to find her. What is the probability of two different people with two different schedule meeting at the same time and same place within 5 metres of each other? Exactly when I wondering if I would meet someone I knew? Either the probability was much higher than I expected or I was VERY lucky today. So I didn't have to go to all the trouble on wasting my money on an phonecard or something stupid. So I just arranged to meet that at macs and that was it. anyway thanks Pris! =]
Transformers was awesome. Very nice and definitely watching again. Having my life irrevocably changed by PW, I studied the realism of the bots (3D animation!) and was suitably impressed. Effect were greats, scenes were fantastic, movie was omgwtfbbqpWnz0r. =] Definitely recommended. Also, I particularly like the part where [spoiler]Optimus Prime and Megatron tussle and fly straight through a building and come out the other side sitll in mid air with the camera following them sideways through the windows.[/spoiler]
Oh and one thing I have to say about the Fantastic Four:TROTSS.
You see, Dr. Doom
reminds me of Darth Sidious(Star Wars)! Why? Well...
Its almost halfway into the movie when Dr. Doom meets the surfer on a glacier. At the beginning, we are shown that Doom somehow undergoes surgery to remove his metal mask.(Not a spoiler, doesn't have much to do with the plot except we can see Doom's face now.) So when he meets the Surfer, we also get a glimpse under his cloak(which looks strangely similar to the one Sidious wears. =\) and we see an old wrinkly face similar to...Sidious!
One more thing. Both can zap people with some nasty electricity from their fingers. See the link? Similar cloaks, similar zappy powers. Lol. Thus my theory is that the Fantastic 4 and Star Wars are kinda related. Doom survives this movie and goes into hiding for oh, say, a few thousand years. Then as humankind progresses and earth is no more but a memory, Doom resurfaces, styling himself as the Emperor, and lies to poor Anakin that he has the DARK side of the force when it actually is just cosmic radiation. So maybe the dark side doesn't exist? And Darth Sidious actually is Doctor Doom. Even their names are close, with so many Ds. =D

z0mg Bio was fantastic. The paper was okay...but I forgot to bring my GC! Bleahs. I totally forgot about the stupid calculation part. I didn't touch one question and wrote 2 lines for the last question, so I didn't really have that much time. But I did the calculation. At the bottom of the page is a jumble of primary school style pencil working and long division. Lol. So the top half is some 1337 JC H2 Biology statistics notes, and the bottom is some n00b dividing 1320 by 34 or something like that (can't remember the exact nos.)
Paper was ok, so hopefully I can do well in this. Lack of a GC was irritating but survivable. Now TOMORROW is a different story. Without GC would be like leaving you on a desert island with a cellphone with no batteries. And asking you to create an electrical cell with lemon juice and a coconut shell.
Went out after to mug with taky at CP macs. Quite noisy, compared to Kovan macs. We bought Four Leaves donuts, and I realised they were hexagon shaped and had a hole in the middle. Just like...a benzene ring! =D Later went to look at phones. I'm eyeing this model. After the stupid 6280 which gave me so many problems I'll think its worth a try having a retarded typing speed or a few weeks to adapt to the Sony Ericsson style. Stupid Nokia. Plus, that camera has auto focus. Much better for taking pictures in case I want to set them at wallpaper.
Went home, had dinner, tuition for tomorrow, tried and failed to get a lizard out of the kitchen for my mum, was told I was useless, can't do whatever I'm told, or rather, do the opposite of whatever I'm told, and some other stuff in the same vein. Hmm. So I figure after the mid years I shall pack my things, and run away from a home that I don't belong in. ='( And I shal beg on the streets till I get enough money to buy a...Car, Condo, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii, game for the aforementioned, the z610i (yay!), and a ton of other stuff. Oh well, humans have limited resources and unlimited wants. Can't forget the first thing I ever highlighted in econs. =D

Just came back. Math was...a total fiasco. I was stuffed into this corner of the class, it was hot and humid, and the fan couldn't reach me. To make things worse, I got a slight headache 25 mins into the paper. Great. =.= As if it couldn't get any worse. I figure my brain was overheating with all the stupid numbers and inside there were signs flashing red and white and great big alarm sounds and popups like:
"Math Exam.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close"
"Math Exam.exe is not responding."
"You are about to close Math Exam.exe, this may result in failure.Cancel or allow?"
"Windows has performed an illegal operation! If you see any suspicious questions, please contact our station staff or call 999. Thank you for your cooperation."
At the end of it all there were so many blanks I got so sianed, I spent the last few minutes writing my name on all the sheets of paper I used(I hadn't filled them in yet), writing my name, class, index number, date, and subject. And wondering what Death by Angry Tutor would be like. To put in neatly in Galvyn's words, it was quite the "clusterfuck". Sigh. Math, math why doth thou hurt me so? Lol.
Later in the evening went out to mug with ben and tak, but ended up reading wikipedia stuff, and messing about with my com(which they asked me to bring) lol. We played the Transformers game at www.chevy.com/autobots! Yay! And we learnt about Charles Whitman, this guy who brought a huge collection of numerous guns and rifles to a tower and starting popping people down below. He killed 13 and injurd 29 before being killed. He was the one who led the SWAT team being invented.
Went to popular but it was closing, so went to minitoons, and kiddy palaces. I want to buy cars! =D WE saw tis cute mugging nodding-head thingy, so all 4 o urs are going to buy it. ^^ Ok, off to sleep now.

Must be the math. =.= Rained last night, which made for nice cool morning weather and a freezing hall. Lol. I like cold weather though. It reminds me of my various holidays in other countries. Well, countries that are ANYWHERE but SINGAPORE. Heh.
Either way I was grateful for my jacket because it truly was cold. Lol. Much worse than Mon. In my jacket, scribbling away, thinking SHIT I spent too much time on Q1 nononono and wishing I were somewhere in Korea or Australia or something...

Tried to mug math. Tried to. I'm somehow descending into a state where I just want the stupid freaking exams to be OVER no matter what, which is not good at all! Shit. Its like I feel like I should put up some semblance of mugging then go to school, score shittily like I always have, go home, and another day is over. Sigh. I know I musn't feel this way but I am. I just want to get it over with without regards to the consequences. And I can't stop it. I try to read up on vectors but nothing is going IN! I feel FUCKING stressed out right now!!! I look at the examples in the notes and go WTF How did you do that? Shit shit shitshitshit....I don't know what to do. I've hit a total and complete mental block. Nothing is going in at all. And I feel totally crap. I'm going to get railed at my by tuition teacher again. FUCK. I almost can't take it anymore.
I blame the school. I blame the school for dumping this shit on me. This is truly stress. Stress pushing me to get it over and done with so I don't have to feel that crushing pressure all the time. Stress is going to screw me up. Big time. Fine. maybe I'm just lousy. Other people can handle it, why can't it? Maybe because I suck astronomically at math and chem. I hate the midyears. Zzz...
You know when I look inside myself and stop lying, I truly from the bottom of my heart 100% regret I came to this Godforsaken place.

Went for Suyi's birthday celeb with the usual 6, Shawn, Calven, YM, and the twins. Well, twin actually. Siwei PSed us for some other thing. Went to the Glass House Fish n Co. The salmon was nice. Went to play pool at Paradiz, went to watch Fantastic 4:TROTSS (lol) at PS. More on the Fantastic 4 later. Reached home around twelve. Tried to finish my work by 2AM, ended up sleeping at 3. So much for trying to get my sleep time back to normal.

Spent most of today sleeping. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to adapt back to my usual 11pm to 0630 routine in just one day. Was sleepy during tuition. Needless to say, it didn't go well. Slept from 2 plus to 6 plus. Had dinner, tried to sleep at 11, ended up falling sleep at about 2AM. =.= Maybe because of the afternoon. Usually I don't sleep then because it screws me up.

Damn. I feel like shit. Not my first thought of the day actually. In fact, I can't even remember what was my first thought of today, considering I've been up the whole night. Overnighted at Macs mugging with taky and Junyu. Junyu slept the most. Lol. Obviously not a late nighter, unlike I who has screwed up my biological clock royally this holiday.
We even watched "Helen the Baby Fox" on Crunchyroll, but thanks to Mac's permanently spastic internet connection, we couldn't finish part two cos it kept on DCing. We got till the part where the poor fox was spasming due to some illness, whereupon we figured it would probably die. And we never even got to watch the ending, which from 90% of the comments I saw, made them cry. =[
I was feeling fine up till the wee hours of 4 or 5, and as the day grew lighter I started to feel very weird. I tried to sleep but it was too bright, then this Macs employee with a speech impediment I think, was gesturing complaining about taky who was curled up sleeping on the seats. Then I stared at electrochem, realised I was totally in some twilight zone where I couldn't make head or tail of things, and got irritated.
Vented myself my smashing up stuff on Momentum Missile Mayhem...lol. Anyway soon after we left Macs. And I felt like puking. I think we should term it an educational hangover. After mugging at odd hours for a quite a while you feel tired, soulless, and nauseous at the end of it all.
Funny thing is, I blame the mugging. The other occasions in which I've overnighted have always been for 100% pure and natural fun and leisure. So my first try with mugging overnight left me feeling totally wasted in the morning. I think I shall go sleep...I need to go to a birthday celebration later gahhh..-falls into bed-

Went to Macs today to mug with Ben and taky and Junyu. Its clear why it was ranked the no. 1 top mugging spot in Singapore. Everyone is mugging there. Then I reformatted, den installed OSX which didn't work and somehow hung on a blue screen so then we tried Vista which actually worked. Lol.

And here we have taky who is my first guest blogger ever. o_O So I memorised org chem today and messed about on my com a bit. Somehow the Aero glass effect didn't work so my windows aren't transparent. Ben spent hours trying to fix it but it didn't work. =[ Then later we watched some videos on youtube.

Somehow the Aero glass effect didn't work so my windows aren't transparent. Ben spent hours trying to fix it but it didn't work. =[ Then later we watched some videos on youtube.

Went to CP Yoshi to mug with Eliza today. Managed to get through quite some chem. I'm desperately trying to finish the whole syllabus by today so I can practice tomorrow but it's going to be freaking hard. Still got most of Org Chem to go through. =[ Probably going out to mug tomorrow also. We got bored at 530 or so and started playing Snake and Tetris on my GC which magically will not get erased when I wipe RAM. Haha.
One thing I dislike is the extremely retarded behaviour of Singaporeans whenever I'm boarding an LRT or MRT. Everytime I see them crowding in front on the door when the train arrives, I stand at the side and silently roll my eyes and think, "I'm surrounded by idiots." Everytime the train arrival announcment is played, young and old alike all seem to de-evolve into a horde of dull, grunting cro-magnons who immediately form a human wall in front of the train doors as though they're about to take a free kick in front of the goal.
From the side, this sight reminds me of the LotR battle scenes when the two massive forces gather in a line and then rush at each other head on. The door open, and the "war" begins. Some try to push forward but are pushed back by the flood of passengers disembarking. Most have to take a step back or two. By their inconsiderate actions they delay the passengers getting off by blocking their way and the platform becomes very congested.
Several times while dragging my bowling bag, I have left the train to run into a solid wall of mindless human pillars and have to squeeze through them. It is all I can do not to roll over their toes with my bag. =.= And a few idiots will do a kamikaze charge through the ranks of passengers to try and squeeze through so as to get on the seats. And I notice that because I stand at the side,most of the time I am the one to get a seat first, not the "frontal thrust". So much for kiasuism.=.=

Some language ability test:
Sir Francis Galton, the cousin of Charles Darwin, first popularized the notion of measurable intelligence in the late 1800s. Charles Spearman later discovered that all mental abilities tend to correlate together when statistically analyzed. He called this G. Went for the NS checkup today. Went to the hitherto unexplored reaches of Redhill to get to the CMPB. I saw the construction of the new Mt. Faber treetop canopy walk thingy, and wanted to take a pic but remembered I was using the good ol' 8250. A phone that's 5 or 6 years old I think.
After the security checks, I got in with my camera-less NS ready phone, to have my picture taken. Then the medical checkup, when I got poked twice, scanned, tested, measured, peed on coloured paper, and went for the IQ test. Which lasted two hours but seemed like 4.
I think that vocational test is quite hellish. You stare at the bright colourful words on the screen (MS-DOS?)trying to answer correctly and as quickly as possible for what seems like eternity. When one is completed, another test comes again and you go -_-. And press 1,2,3,4,5 and + over and over. I lost track of how many tests or questions I answered. I didn't finish some tests =.= because I was obsessing over whether I answered osme questions correctly.
Some of the questions try to trick you ("--->LOOK HERE!<---")and some make you press buttons repeatedly which is kinda amusing at first because you can go click-click-click click-click-click click-click-click-click-click-clickclickclickclickclickclickclickclickclickclickclickclick. Until the guy next to you does that test. Then it gets annoying. Lol.
And finally I was done. And I realised I'd totally forgotten about lunch. So I grabbed a bubble tea and hotdog at Redhill. Oh. And I got Pes A. I have no idea why I'm so healthy. Lol. My eyesight alone is like 800-900 degrees. =\ Ah try to bit a little now.

My phone is acting up again. =.= Almost wish I hadn't bought this stupid model. This morning it suddenly dropped out of the network for no frickin' reason. No connection at all, so basically no one can call or sms me, and neither can I call or sms anyone. 3rd time this has happened. The signal strength bar is at totally zero, and it happened out of nowhere. Usually it recovers in a few hours, but not this time, apparently. Fantastic. I didn't even have to drop my phone to spoil it, it did so by itself.
Maybe this is the new prototype Mugsense technology developed by Nokia? Detecting I am in serious need of mugging, the phone automatically drops out of the network, leaving the hapless student without his means of communication, thus forcing him to mug out of boredom. =.=
Well, at least I did osmething decent today by copying out ALL the econs definitions neatly onto a foolscap paper. I suppose I've memorised most of them. =\ Then, I spent the afternoon digging out out phones and chargers from drawers, and guess what I found?
This was my dad's first handphone. A $38 dollar mobile phone. They sure don't make stuff like they used to. $38 for a phone?
Its size compared to an 8250. Oh, and it even has the quaint retro extendable antenna.
That's a old Motorola my mum used in the past. In fact, my mum used all these phones before. Lol.
Found an ancient sim card hiding in the big phone. I tried charging it but it doesn't turn on. The 8250 I thought was spoilt, but after I charged it awhile, it actually could be turned on and used, which makes it the phone I'm using now. THe ringtones are nice. Haven't heard them in a while. Lol.
Dammit Shawn, get a new phone already and return me my 3100. Lol. At least I know I have 2 NS-ready phones.

Am I a serial murder when I fall asleep? =S A few days I discovered unexplainable scratches on my torso. There's a long red line running horizontal from left to right, and on the left of that line(my left), there's a long red line running vertically down, intersecting the horizontal line. Its red and sore and slightly swollen. What the hell? I don't recall doing anything to scratch myself.
I look like I've been marked for sacrifice by a primitive civilisation which has no idea where the heart is. (Uh, Mr. Witch-doctor sir, you might want to cut a little further up?) When I look down it also looks like that same primitive tribe attempted to plot a graph on me with the X and Y axes already mapped out. They're literally perpendicular. Or this may be the human version of crop circles?
Uh damn. It's Father's Day. Or rather was. I knew it was Father's day but I didn't blog about it. Well...uh my sis and I were supposed to treat him to a meal. But he osmehow vanished osmewhere after work. I 'm guessing its with his friends, since osmeone called him yesterday.
Hmm...not sure what to say either. He's not a man to really express himself a lot. Mainly this big stoic guy who used to bring the cane down on me when I was a kid. But I know he cares. He just doen't show it. =] Besides, his job is tough too. He has to work odd hours sometimes leaving at 3 or 4 in the morning to return later in the afternoon when we're at school. But I guess in a way its worth if to get 4 free air tickets every year. Haha. Sigh. Since he's getting on in years I better not screw up the 'A's since its gonna be me pulling in the money in a few more years...

Trying to mug econs. Hopefully can finish it today then that leaves me with 8 days for math and chem. Minus 1 day for a friend's birthday and 1 day for my NS checkup, 6 days. Crap. =[ Just downloaded the Elfen Lied theme song, and got the Music box version, which sounds really nice(featured in one of the episodes). The theme song is actually in Latin, I think and sounds a bit intimidating if you see the lyrics.
But the music box version seems to be a lighter and less heavy rendition of it, which makes it my new ringtone. ^^ Actually I just cropped out one of the segments.

Stayed home to mug today. =\ Econs. Something is seriously wrong this holiday. I can't get any momentum or motivation to kickstart the mugging process, unlike before other tests in the past. I'm in a constant mood of "mugging? sigh." and no matter what the logic says (10 more days) I'm still stuck in this rut. Highly unusual.
I know the usual sermon about scoring well, your future, blah, pulling your grades and the whole crock of nonsense that every authority figure has been repeating for the past two years,but I just can't get the focus. I sit down to study and my mind says NO and wanders off into a little corner to think about other stuff. I can't concentrate fully. I don't even know why I can't mug like I used to in the past. Its just weird. I can't get it to settle down and fix on a subject. =[

(Frankly it's pretty obvious if you look.)
Sigh. I really dunno how else to put this. I don't want to like tell the entire world...but I need to let it out. I hope they don't read this, or if they do, they understand my situation here. I'm sorry. This friend. Let's just say...ah fine. X. Very original. I do too much math. Anyway I've known X for...6 years now. He's a nice guy in person. Perfectly okay. But sometimes...let me start from the beginning. X likes Y. (Yes, another original choice of name.) He's done so for...4 years.
Commendable feat. Okay. Deal is, X wanted to buy Y a Preposterously Super Powerful present. Call it a PSP for short. But, X lacks money. So...I lent him a hundred. anyone see the irony here? I'm not bitter or anything. He's my friend and I have absolutely NO qualms at lending him 100. Heck, I've known him 6 years and I trust him. But the irony...this Preposterously Super Powerful present is like the very first thing on my I-WANT list, and I lend someone else 100 to get theirs. But it's ok. I don't mind. Friends.
Then on that day we bought it, Y asked me to buy a gift for her. I had 40 in my wallet. Just nice to buy an average PSP game. One problem...that 40 was my next week's allowance. If it disappeared in one day...I was going home to some very akward questions. So...I refused. I know you're my friend and all also, but...that's my allowance, and I don't exactly feel great asking from extra money from my mother.
When I refused, it was kinda awkward as well...and I also felt bad doing it because Y was my friend too. She kept begging me, and I was saying no and feeling very bad about it and in a very tight spot. I felt like I was choosing the lesser of two evils(?) For some times after that I agonized over my decision because I was not sure I had made the right choice. I felt bad for rejecting a friend. Till now...I still not even 100% sure if i did make the right call. But then...my entire week's allowance...and...and I don't even know right now.
Then later came October and the celebration of X's birthday. Supposedly mine also. Mine's one month before his. so...the plan was to have a steamboat at X's house. So we did. We went and bought a whole lot of food at Cold Storage. Somehow I got cajoled into paying for it. Which was $60. Supposedly we were supposed to split the cost, but I didn't ask for it on that day because I didn't want to spoil the mood. Well, sorta. I wasn't exactly comfortable with some stuff we did and all but it's a long story. (In fact this IS a long story.) Either way. I decided to strike off Y's share because it probably wasn't nice to ask a girl for money. =.= So add on another 20 to X's. I spent 60 dollars on my also(?) birthday on dinner for 3.
The day before Mr Yeow's wedding, I went to to buy something nice to wear. X only had a little some cash with him. I also didn't have enough. I paid by nets. Imagine my embarrassment when my card was rejected. Not enough cash. Originally I had Z dollars. Z-50 (personal consumption) Z-50-100-60 (100 I lent X and the birthday) Z-50-100-60-30 (extra $ for clothes). Z-240=No damn money. I was a little unnerved at this already. Oh and by the way, the money I spent on clothes, less than 1/3 was given by my mother. The rest all hard-saved cash.
Then now, I'm going to Taiwan with X and some other guy friends. Y complained we were leaving her in Singapore. X promised to buy a gift for her. But Y has...good tastes. Today we met to eat at ikea. He said we're buying a wallet. I said ok how much. He said 300. I felt my stomach drop out from under me. Later when she went to the toilet I asked who's paying. He said I'll try to ask the twins but now its both of us. Then he said you can transfer the money into my bank account. I was like DUDE I DON'T EVEN HAVE 150 in my account right now. She came back before we could continue.
I don't know what to say. I mean, I like both of you as friends, and I don't want anything to come between us, and I really hope I don't cause any problem between us with them but I seriously need to let it out. I feel like punching something right now. But I can't just keep SPEND SPEND SPEND. The impression I got was its like you said "ok" for me. Like saying to Y: ok I'll get the $300 wallet and then turning around to me and saying hey, cough up $150 I promised her a wallet. I know we're friends...but...
Anyway...I don't recall the actual exchange just now at Ikea, but either way if the twins pay also, I'll have to fork out $75 which is A LOT of money to me. And then I can't remember but Y said something and I was kinda reluctant and then X said "不要这样 la..."(don't be like that) Inside I was thinking how can I not be like that? I can't just give, give, give. It's not a song. Reliant K - Give Until There's Nothing Left to Give? I dunno what to say now.
I don't even want to put this figures up. My dad makes 1.6k a month working at SIA. Sure we got the free air tickets, but Korea stretched our savings so we can't go anywhere right now. I FEEL bad going to Taiwan. My mum makes less than 1k a month. 800? I don't know. Truth is, they have to support me and my sister who is schooling. I have uni to go through and she has the rest of sec sch, JC or poly or whatever. Your dad can earn 10k in a good month. Your mom a similar amount(?), Your sis is working. Y is in poly, works part-time during the holidays.
Please don't put me through this. You're a great friend. I don't want to lose either of you. But I...cant keep giving just like that. I just can't. I'm sorry. I hope you understand. I don't know if it would be better if either of you read this blog, or if you didn't. I hope I'm not being selfish. I don't want to be...but my family is not brimming with cash and I don't know how I can keep up with this.
I just want to say, seriously, from the bottom of my heart, please don't be offended, I don't want anything to affect us being friends AT ALL. Really. You people are among the few people whom I truly treasure as great friends. But I can't keep doing this forever. I also have my wants and needs. I also want to buy stuff when I get a job . X doesn't mind sacrificing for you because he likes you. Me, I'm just an ordinary guy. If I had all the cash I want, I wouldn't mind getting ANYTHING for you guys...but I can't.

Went to Ikea with Shawn and Suyi today. Then she said she was bored so we had to go to Giant opposite to look for stuff. We bought books, then went back. The books at Giant are quite cheap compared to other places. Though the range is quite small, that's to be expected. The store doesn't seem to take up the entire building either...lol
Ikea has good quality glasses. Using a wet finger(yes I know that sounds wrong =.=) and running it around the rim of the glass several times you can create a high pitched note; which is possible only in glass of good quality. Lol. So anyone interested can do it the next time they're using the clear glasses in the restaurant.
Ran into Ben and his family there also. Lol. Quite surprised to see him. Oh and I also saw the class tee already. Later walked Ikea for a while before going home.
This fruit juice is nice.
Square toilets! Well, sorta.

Brilliant. Just fucking brilliant. I cannot believe the "luck" I am having today. I came into my room and saw the the fan was blowing my notes up such that a few pages from my set of notes were flying. I rushed over to smack them down and ta-da! Guess why they were upright. That's right! The fan had blown the pages over and they were leaning against...a full cup of cold water!
Anyway, I flipped the papers back, and guess what else I flipped back. No prizes for gussing. I hear a thunk! and the JC equivalent of the Boxing Day tsunami swept over my notes. Not just the lone set of bio notes, but the all the notes from the other subjects also got hit by splash damage. Ha. The irony. Splash damage. Oh and one more thing. Quite a bit of my notes are written on water soluble ink. So I'm going to have quite artistic notes with swirls of purple and splashes of black all over. Oh joy.

Well spent the rest of the day with bio. Saw one ep of this anime called Elfen Lied. It is pretty cool, if cool is defined as having as many gory sequences as possible, coupled with the sudden removal of heads from bodies and/or detachment of limbs. It is a slasher flick in 2D, it is an excuse for a bloodbath, it is comparable to, or perhaps even surpasses Blood+'s violence content, because here, the blood practically rolls like a carpet.
Oh, and there's some nudity also, but nothing explicit. When I first saw it, I was speechless. The limbs went flying as if the people were not made from flesh and blood but paper bags containing ketchup. Torsos were cleanly split in half, and heads were rudely plucked from their attached bodies the way you'd pop out the head of a tiny LEGO figure. I was like, this is an ANIME?? The first ep was packed to the gills with blood, gore, severed limbs and enough dead bodies to fill up a half a cemetery.
Anyway, violence aside, the story is about a type of mutant human, who have two little horns on their head. At first I thought they had psychic powers, because without lifting a finger, this naked girl was slicing people apart like a professional Italian chef preparing a baloney sandwich. Turns out actually they are "invisible hands" called "vectors" which give her z0mfgwtfbbqpWnsauce powers of uberpWnag3. OH and she stops bullets a la Neo in the Matrix. Lol.

Mugged at home today...
Some funny test I did on Ben's site. Lol. It only has twenty questions, so I suspect the variance may be quite great, and so is the no. of degrees of freedom. But I've done longer ones like 60-100 questions, and I've always gotten about 130 or so, so its pretty accurate I guess...I have always been quite adept at riddles and stuff...lol.

Momentum Missle Mayhem. A slightly strange name for what is one of the more interesting and fun games I've found on the internet. MMM is a physics based collision game in which you launch energy balls at oncoming waves of enemies to destroy them by smashing them into each other or into the walls. And it is FUN.
However, for a flash game, it is unusually intensive, thus it is not recommended to play this game on a slower computer. For the rest, enjoy. Being able to obliterate numerous tanks with the resounding booms of explosions shaking the screen is definitely an entertaining experience.
A variety of weapons are offered, some of which are quite fun to use, like the following yellow energy ball. Its special ability is sticking to the enemy(large object, right of picture), leaving the tank thrashing around and causing chaos in the ranks as it smashes into everything around it. Its stay-on effect makes it great for dealing with the high HP of bosses. Be sure to watch as its effect progesses the longer it stays on.
Different techniques are intrumental in winning, with spectacular effects. The careful usage of the green energy ball (speeds up after every collision with tank/wall) can easily take out one row of tanks in the first onslaught.
Graphics are quite decent and even the sounds also are quite good, with the shriek of tortured metal rending as tanks crash into each others, and the crumbling of rock as the hapless enemies are flung into walls.
Enemies are highly vulnerable when close together, which makes the special abilities very powerful weapons. Shockwave can obliterate one row straight, and Implosion if placed in the right place can deal high damage to two bosses at the same time by having them smash into each other and sucking in other smaller units to destruction on their flanks.
During this, lag may occur as the the system processes the few stragglers left alive, and all the units being crushed together and several explosions going off at once. Oh, and watch out for the nuke tanks which are capable of self-destructing next to you. (though this is rare, it has happened, and I was nearly done in by it. Left with 15 HP, I survived till my HP recovered. =])
Overall, a totally great game to play. If you love carnage and wanton destruction, this is the game for you. You can even download it if you're bored. I've completed it twice already. Lol. And there's a survival mode, survival extreme mode, and Armageddon mode.

Its special ability is sticking to the enemy(large object, right of picture), leaving the tank thrashing around and causing chaos in the ranks as it smashes into everything around it. Its stay-on effect makes it great for dealing with the high HP of bosses. Be sure to watch as its effect progesses the longer it stays on.
Different techniques are intrumental in winning, with spectacular effects. The careful usage of the green energy ball (speeds up after every collision with tank/wall) can easily take out one row of tanks in the first onslaught.
Graphics are quite decent and even the sounds also are quite good, with the shriek of tortured metal rending as tanks crash into each others, and the crumbling of rock as the hapless enemies are flung into walls.
Enemies are highly vulnerable when close together, which makes the special abilities very powerful weapons. Shockwave can obliterate one row straight, and Implosion if placed in the right place can deal high damage to two bosses at the same time by having them smash into each other and sucking in other smaller units to destruction on their flanks.
During this, lag may occur as the the system processes the few stragglers left alive, and all the units being crushed together and several explosions going off at once. Oh, and watch out for the nuke tanks which are capable of self-destructing next to you. (though this is rare, it has happened, and I was nearly done in by it. Left with 15 HP, I survived till my HP recovered. =])
Overall, a totally great game to play. If you love carnage and wanton destruction, this is the game for you. You can even download it if you're bored. I've completed it twice already. Lol. And there's a survival mode, survival extreme mode, and Armageddon mode.

FUCK. Now I have to wait I-don't-fucking-know-how-long before I can reload them again. DAMMIT. I am SO getting an Apple. Better than this piece of Microshit. =.= Fantastic.

Did math. I will not say I hate maths, but I shall say maths sucks. Zzz...damn integration. Decided go to cycle awhile later. Haven't done that in quite a long time. Had to take a dirt path through a some forest to get to the tail end of the cycling/jogging trail. Venturing into the trees all I saw were paths in several directions, countless trees and bushes, and the heavy stench of vegetation. I was almost afraid I would take the wrong path, but I got to the trail in the end.
Overall I guess the total distance was about 5km, which wasn't too bad considering I hadn't cycled in months, so I pushed myself a bit this time. Maybe I'll go cycle again tomorrow evening. Had to return fast to beat twilight though. Because I came from the tail end of the trail, everyone was going in the opposite direction, which left me and a few hundred metres of murky tree lined asphalt. Wasn't sure I'd like to attempt the forest section of my path in darkness. Plus, the dirt track was bumpy and strewn with rocks and stones. Made it out before last light, by the time I reached home night was fast approaching. And then, to do integration again. =.=

Mugged bio today...later was feeling bored so went out for pool with Calven and Shawn. I found out there's actually a wiki article on mugging. (well, sort of) On the train home my I discovered my MP3 was playing songs without the vocals. Kinda interesting when your MP3 suddenly develops voice-canceling technology on its own. So there was only guitars and drums. Then I twisted the the jack a little, and I heards words from the background hiss. Twisted it more and it was back to normal. I tried the other way but the stange effect never returned. =\

Went out with Shawn and Jasmine to get stuff for someone's birthday. I forgot to buy a present also. Lol. Went to Chinatown, but couldn't find the shop, so went to Dhoby's Spotlight for it. Came home, mugged a while, then went out to Kovan with Jas to watch Alvin(small xD), Marcus, and Jonathan bowl. Shawn was busy at home fiddling with the Present. Heheh...that's about it I guess. Amazingly everyday can be summarised into a little paragraph now...lol. Saves time, I guess.

WLM is one of the greatest pieces of shit Microsoft has dumped on us. Just now I couldn't log in because apparently it had "lost" my contact list. After several hours I couldn't sign in so I just went to make a new email account. Then I went to try it one last time. And I finally logged in. WTF is this shit?! How can you LOSE a contact list when the info is supposed to be in your servers? And mine seems to be the only one affected. I see everyone who was online still online. =.= I could get a MAc simply for the fact that its not made by the money-grubbing fools at MS. At least the UI is more interesting.

Went for a "class outing" of sorts today. Only about 10 people, but it was fun though. Supposed to have some picnic at East Coast or something, but I had already left when I got the relay that bad weather would cause a change of plans. Ended up lugging the tub of "nutrient agar" everywhere today. =[
Went to Macs to slack because I was quite early. Ended up having a horrible meal. Either my tongue was malfunctioning or Macs food has become unimaginably awful. Coke tasted like diluted dishwater. The garlic chilli was unusually sour, and the fries were bland. I took so long to get everything down because I didn't want to throw away my money. When I got to the nuggets, they were cold. My only consolation was that I upsized a student meal so it wasn't that expensive.
My fries have an er...normal distribution curve...
We went to Marina^2(please don't tell me you don't get this lol) to watch Shrek 3. Basically they only had Arachnidman 3 and PotC 3 so we decided to watch Shrek 3. (Why is EVERYONE concluding their trilogies at the same time???) Supposed to watch it on Wed with someone else, but whatthehell, won't kill me to watch it twice. Besides, it was the best choice then, as it was still quite new.
Shrek was ok I guess. Lol. Later was some difficulty over dinner as Galvyn wanted dim sum (o_O) and it probably wasn't halal for ariffin (lol). But Diana and Val and Fin left, so we went to Changing Appetites. Food was ok I guess. Edison left, so Dan, Sunny, Galvyn and I went to play pool. Was pretty fun. Wouldn't mind doing again. Lol. But couldn't take pictures. =.=
Dug a bit into my savings today. T_T I am considering getting new jeans. Lol. Maybe Topman or something? Won't somebody please tag? I sense the early stages of death. Do I have to change my blogskin to make you all respond? lol. =X Oh and my chocopets are suffering a little bit from the chage in coding...a little hungry. Lol.

Tuition was so-so. Went out with Shawn and the twins go look at the warehouse sale of Zara and Fcuk. The sale truly was fcuk. Lol. Calesta was right. Pretty much all crap. Went to wander at Raffles instead. Saw the traffic lights at the 4-way intersection screw up. Police were on scene quick. Luckily no one was injured. Saw some nice shirts at Ralph Lauren, but the damn shop assistant attitude us.
"Everyone saw looks nice and nice to wear, but noone buy." =.= Maybe its because of him that they didn't wanna buy. Great service. We left to go look at other stuff. Bought a Levi's shirt. Still had extra money and saw some other nice stuff but didn't get. Lol. Later went to bugis, looked around, had dinner then went home. Didn't spend a lot today. Someone still owes me money. =D Some random pictures now...

Glow-in-the-dark bacteria we grew. Technically we'd be able to make humans glow in the dark too, except for a bothersome little problem called ethics. Lol.
Wedding dinner last night.
