So, another Teacher's day again. One of the better ones I've had, but still, Happy Teacher's Day to all educators out there! =]

Well, I didn't have a black or white shirt, so i came in the T-shirt i bought yesterday, whereas almost everyone came in a shirt w/ tie. =\ Anw, ACES day dance was pretty ridiculous still, so I did it with the same half-enthusiasm I'm-bored-of-this-so-let-just-stop "fervor". Speaking of fervor, 3 words. Poh Boon's Video. look for any NYJCian and ask about him. =D And, some ppl from my sch (now in NY) also got this video of him...ask to view it. ^^

After than came the concert in which innumerable bands performed. Know the song "It's Raining Men"? Change it to "It's Raining Bands" and you get a picture of the concert. Some of them were pretty good though. Well, just bands, they played the couple dance song but i just sat there cos i'd totally forgotten everything.

They played some game with the teachers. (Mr Conrad has the longest tongue!)

And Ben got eyeliner!

Then Mr Lau sang a song he composed, which was pretty cool! He sang quite well...think he can be part time teacher le...lol xD

Ben the Rock Star!

I saw many different themes today, some were well done, some interesting, some downright ridiculous! Lol. Shawn's class did Mafia today (I thought of it too for our class =P) And he really looks like some kind of effing triad boss..lol! fiona's class was retro, her earring looked like they were made in D&T class (giant bright orange acrylic circles) Haha, and Luther' class was doing Zorro with capes...I saw a guy with a cloak and Batman mask and katana earlier. Dunno what he wanna be? Lol.

Death Eaters need to go to school too. (H2 Curses and Spells) =P

And this is H2 Pirating (Foam Stick combat)

And there was this unique class that came all in pink. They definitely stood out cos e main colour of the day was black

More pink. Their mascot- Chesire cat?

*No offence intended to the people within the pictures.*
Later the entire class cam-whored outside the hall. Lol.

After that, went back to Nan Chiau, saw many old friends. =D We sat there looking at the standards of the school ,and it was all we heard about. Student with AP (attitude problem), a proliferation in the number of ah bengs and lians, etc. Someone said he told his younger sibling not to come here. I'm gonna do the same too. it seems a cruel thing to do to one's alma mater, but the situation here is terrible.

The obvious lack of decent people is inescapable. yvonne told us every time she came back, of ten boys she'd see in the corridors, 10 had their shirts tucked out. Sure, the aggregate has increased, but thats the work of our batch. At this rate, i don't see how the school can improve. They're dragging our school name thruogh the mud. we may have been the noisier of the 2 pioneer batches, but we were probably the best they had and might ever have. =\

As Mdm Low (my ex-physics teacher) told us about relief teaching, it pays $65 and if you can handle Nan chiau students, you can handle students ahywhere else. Example: we were talking to Mdm low when this beng came. Fiona was blocking the passageway, but all he did was stand there, give a lan jiao bin and hiu lan and keep quiet. Sorry for all the hokkien, but i really detest/despise/abhor this scum of society. Corny though it may seem, they waste the oxygen on earth.

During the concert, they askied us to rise, greet the teachers, and sit down. Most of the students (including us grads) expected to sing the school song, but were surprised when asked to sit. While we made sounds of puzzlement, the ENTIRE school jeered. I just shook my head, this school has gone to pot. Fancy making the teachers teach a full day on TEACHER'S DAY! What the hell were you on, Mr Ong? noto nly does the day end later, the teachers were stressed by having to sheperd the students into the hall and get them to settle down.

They said a lot of teachers were requesting transfers. I wish all the teacher at my school good luck. =[

ZOMG promos coming shiettt. T_T Yay holiday so not so stressed. gonna fail chem test, I think. Again. Hais. Can't slack too much le. Went to Metro. All the shirts are so expensive! Not to mention ties. It's gonna be a waste of money if I buy all this just for tomorrow. But I didn't go home mepty handed. I went down to 77th and bought a new t-shirt fro $29.90. Lol.

Went home to late today due to Chem test and bowling meeting, missed Bleach Ep2. Waiting for the rerun at 12.30AM. Speaking of bolwing, i'm looking forward to the new coaches. They all seem experienced with the trophies to prove it. Plus, they're practical coaches, which would be an intereasting change from book coaches. And, there's 3 of them to 12 of us! Not to mention 2 being national bowlers...(zomgwtfbbq pwnz0r!!!!!11) Also he can bring down professional spinners to teach us. Lololol. ^^

Was bored in Chinese class, before Chem test started.
[Goody it's very "fast" to load my pics. =.=]

Before school ended, it started to rain, but as I left school, the heavens seemed to split asunder. Took some pictures but don't think i'll upload due to the uber-slow load, I'll post something else. Lol.

Muigging. Chem tomorrow. I hope I do ok. Need to get osmeone to test me, but my sis is hooked on Maple just cause my parent's aren't home. You'd think she'd be a little more focused what with her PSLE this year. But then, I didn't have computer games to distract myself 5 years ago...

Was flipping through the papers when I noticed they were highlighting Bleach on Ch56. Finally an anime I recognise.(Even though I've never watched it before.) The previous anime occupying that slot was some kind of "Mermaid Anthology" o_O, which was intruiging, but I never watched it. Well it turned out to be the first episode (they said so on the digital cable info), and after watching it, I must say I'm hooked. Hahaha...it's a really great show, and I can foresee my TV schedule changing in the future. =P So this is what I've missed...ok, back to mugging...

Thoroughly uninteresting day. Nothing much to blog about. Ze Banquet in school. Basically cuttting and pasting the food section of a pasar malam into the canteen. MJ loves using grandiose foreign names for all its vents lah. Ramly burger was good. Spent $7 dollars on food today. Shiet. In Chinese, teacher told us about chinese classics. The most interesting one was "The Golden Peony" which he read before.

Supposedly it's an extremely pornographic book with political undertones, which is why it's in the Chinese Studies section of the library at NUS. I searched it on Wikipedia, and Googled it, and Google Imaged it(for, uh, extracurricular research purpose), but nothing came up. He says someone later added diagrams to the book. Lol. Found no info on it, so, completed homework, now mugging chem.

My neighbour's place for breeding Aedes aegypti, AKA dengue fever vector #1, AKA mosquitoes. Sweet joy.

Went out in the morning to meet up with Shawn and the twins to mug. Lol. Ran into the twins, and met Shawn at the 7-11. Had Breakfast at the foodcourt above where we caught up with each other. Lol. Seems that Sixu's love life is a 1st order reaction one now. xD And Siwei is a house captain. o_O And...all his teachers hate him cause he's damn sarcastic now...lol

Later went to Sengkang CC to study at the benches there. Noticed a very weird phenomenon. Ah Bengs studying. Like LOLOLOLOLOL WTF? Sixu went to buy food and one of them was staring and when he told us and we looked at them, they started staring back. =.=

What kind of person is that? Why must you stare at people who are not even disturbing you, while you are studying? It's so weird. Normal civilised people don't do that. Later when we left to play bowling at Kovan, one of them stared at us with those want-to-fight-is-it looks. =.= Confirm ah beng. It just so happens both twins are skilled at wushu and ninja-do. Hmm...I wonder who will win.

Played 4 games at the alley.

We returned to Compass Point later, where Sixu bought his new phone (W810i), and he's like 80% clueless on how to use it. =P That's cause he did a direct Nokia-Sony Ericsson switch and the keys are very different. So we decided to take advantage of the 2MP auto-focus camera to take some very ridiculous photos, hahahaha. There were some acting cute, some with mouths gaping, and some with tongues sticking out. Hahaha.

Then somehow being very free...(MUST WATCH! LAME+FUNNY!)

Later I left with the twins, then we decided to do something narcissistic in the lift. xD

And directly after we took the picture,SiWei let out an...expulsion of gas from his rear end, which made us burst into horrified laughter and scurry for cover. In a lift. Yes, we attempted to seek a place to hide in an enclosed metal box until SiWei assured us it was scentless. WTF. =X Haha. Well, back home now, had an interesting day today.

Had a terrible time getting to school today. Stepped out at 8AM today, still quite ok. Then I realised I had forgotten to replace my EZ-link card in my wallet. I thought, shit I'm gonna be late...and if i miss the bus i'll reach at 8.50AM. I called home, and 10 mins later my mum showed up. Then, I alighted from the station, tapped out, and saw bus 89 leaving the bustop. I was like no, no way this is happening! No-effing-way! But it was happening in my face, and I couldn't do a single thing because I was on the second floor.

Well, I missed the bus, and sure enough, reached school at 8.50. Well, it wasn't such a waste because I managed to get this on the bus:

Nice eh? One of those uncommon moments when a cloud drifts infront of the sun, and the rays just catch the edge of it, giving it an ethereal glow. So econs lecture ended early, and I went home to do homework/mug/do PW. Yet another boring solitary bus ride home.

Stil having problems with ionic equilibrums. Damn. Really need to get to work on everything...oh well, back to PW...and it seems like the haze is back again...

Yet another day. Chem consultation and Econs extra tutorial. And promos coming up soon. So tense. I wonder if I made the right choice in coming here. Sometimes I really doubt myself. Is anywhere else better than here? I think, it's a high possibility. CJ, SA, Poly? But what's important is this I'm already here. If I really hate this place so much, all the more I should work hard and get out as soon as possible. I really fear for the promos.

I haven exactly started revision yet...only doing my homework takes up a lot of time, not to mention about 1 hour spent on transport each day. I've said before that I don't regret going to JC. i don't regret that, but do I regret coming to this JC?

[Well seriously, what the hell was I on when I posted that? I deleted the rest of the post already. I've only left the poem(?) behind. Hahs. I'm better off keeping everything to myself. I would love to drown my depression in a couple of books from Stephen king though. Hint for(ahem)Sept 11. Ring a bell? *Bappy Hirthday Mo Te*]

Auf wiedersehen.(and yob tvoyu maht. To some. -msg me if you really wanna know the meaning-)

The light fades, flickers, and is lost,
as the world is plunged into eternal darkness.
A thick fog from which none can escape,
all encompassing, and and unstoppable.
They reached for the skies,
and fell to the ground on the hard dry dust.
Pain, anguish in their eyes
as the sky darkens.
Futile attempts to free themselves,
the chains restrain and mutilate
hence comes the End.

Uh. Right. I'm typing nonsense here. Ignore me.

Thursday, August 24, 2006

Finally decided to put the organiser in my phone to good use. And then stared in awe at all the stuff I gotta do. Econs extra everything this week. Lecture and tutorial. Crap. And I don't know what kind of a game Conrad's trying to play with me because I'm not laughing.

I got 29 for my compo. Again. It's like the 3rd freakin' 29 I've gotten! Like WTF? Some of you may say 29's not bad, why are you complaining? Well, that's cos 29 is just ONE mark away from Conrad's "pass rate" of 30 for the better students. Jolly good. So, I'm one mark away and I have to do a redraft of it.

29 here, is a pretty frustrating mark to get because (like duh) I don't want it to go lower. Yet...It doesn't go higher! One mark away again. This is not funny when I have to rewrite and improve a composition just cause it's one mark away from his expected standard.

I'm beginning to have sneaking suspicions that he's doing it on purpose =X Like purposely set the bar higher for me so I can score madly in the promos? Haha. It's too far-fetched. I'm tired of 29s. On the other hand, Priscilla has been getting 30, 31, etc. I dunno how she does it. I also want that kind of standard...no drafts. One measly mark...

Anyway, didn't have much time to revise today. Went home, rushed back to school to play dodgeball. Uber fun. I reached home, spent 30 mins sorting my stuff and 30 mins with dinner, and the papers. Did chem. Well, it's more of staring at the questions and thinking how the heck do I solve this?

Back to dodgeball...very very exciting. Lol. My hand is still hurting from when Chris slid to take the ball but I grabbed it first. The full force of his body weight+inertia smashed into my outstretched hand, hurting my fingers and wrist. Ow. It aches even as I type. I wanna take MC just so I can skip school tomorrow.

The Phobos vs Phobos match was thrilling because it soon narrowed down to Valerie vs Syahida and Anmari when Sabrina and Chen En accidentally fouled. We thought we were gonna lose when the time was up, and I was from a hit to the back of my legs, and Ben too. Then the subbed Ben in who (I think) killed Anmari, so they subbed syahida with Chris. Showdown. And the best part is when Chris shot, and Ben caught the ball.

The tide was turned! I ran in, shot, missed, and Ben took the kill. Lol. We were celebrating because Phobos won even though we would have won anyway. (Same class& same house) Then in then second match VS Atlas, My specs kept flying off because I was sweating. Sometimes I played fruitlessly without my specs. Couldn't touch anyone. The good thing is, I didn't get killed! =D

I ran about but dodged everything. I got touched once, but the ball had hit the ground before. =P Then the most exciting part was too fast to be remembered. I dodged a volley of (i think) 3 balls in quick succession. Hahaha. Dodged the one to my left, whirled to the right, dodged the second, third incoming, leaned back. All gone. Lol. Instincts discovered when playing poison ball with my cousins. Luckily I haven't lost them.

But then I was subbed out cos of the specs, then Chris and Sabrina were assaulted by overkill. Game over. But I still had fun. If only we could do this in PE instead of ACES day dance. =.= The song's the same one as SRJC's orientation. So much for creativity. Even some moves were similar.

Back to chem now. Yawn.

Nothing much today. GP test. Hoping I do ok. Gah. Feel so...weird. Like i'm losing interest in it. Which is NOT a good thing for the only subject I'm any good at. Chinese tutorial was pretty slacky...the school is like advertising all sorts of high tech gadgets...didn't know they could do that. Bowling was...ok at best. First game in-training sucked shit. 2nd was better. How can I like get 147 on my second game of the day, but get 84(!!!!!!!) 20 mins later when training starts...it's just not logical! off to do homework.
(Sometimes I just fucking hate technology)
1. I can't figure out how to set up a wireless home network because its all so frickin' confusing.
2. Clicked too fast previously, and I failed to FUCKIN save my EoM so I have to retype everysingle thing for draft 3 again.
3.I accidentally somehow KNNBCCB hit the insert key and didn't realise it and lost a whole chunk of passage.

Tuesday, August 22, 2006

Okay, plenty has gone on since I last updated. Been pretty tired everyday, which makes me kind of irritable...and feeling resentful towards life and all...oh well. Recently I saw this ad for SBS on an SBS bus. Mostly MJ students would probably have seen this 89 bus with the pic of a guy holding flowers. On the back of the bus it reads: He's going to his first date. Please help us by giving way to this bus.

When I saw that I was like WTF? Are they going to make a TV serial based on SBS? Or is it just a poorly planned ad campaign? Either way, pasting a "give way" sign on the back of the bus isn't gonna be of much use is it? It all seems rather stupid to me...Anyway, on Sunday evening, I went to Macdonalds, and found out that the food cheats had stuck again! Now, my sundae was the victim!

Just look at it!

The ice-cream is so pitiful, and a few minutes after i got it, it started melting into a very dilute solution of vanilla ice-cream, not to mention at least 10 percent of the cup consists of air bubbles. =.=

Monday was pretty cool, cos it was phototaking day! And I didn't even know. Still thought they were gonna have an attire check in the morning. Thankfully not. =D Conrad was nice and gave us the entire period to camwhore with professional photographers. =P And I took a disturbing and incriminating pic of Diana and Chen En that I dare not put up in case I get whacked to death =P (Holy~! Ok the 3rd pic is also of their faces...let's hope they don't see this.)=X

And here's Sunny, Danson, and Chris. xD

Here's Diana after she whacks Benedict...

Ben, Diana, Kiaming

Ben, Diana&Kiaming are moving away after he sticks his tongue out at them.

Yup...so after Monday, came Tuesday, another long day. Was pretty sucky cos I screwed up Bio SPA pretty badly. Like I had started the second experiment 5 minutes ago, then I looked up and, shit. I forgot to change the water in the beaker.

Never thought I'd say this, but I think I'm developing a hate for English. A shoot of evil slowly germinating within me. All becaase of? The Application Question. You know something's very wrong with your education system if it can make a student HATE his favourite subject in a few months...

Saturday, August 19, 2006

Went for the Interhouse bowling competition today. Was quite let when I met Shawn and his friend at the bus-stop. They commented on how long the back of my hair was. They were like wow, didn't you get caught for that? Hahaha...I didn't realise it was long enough to get that kind of reaction.

Anyway, we got there quite early, waited from everyone to arrive settled the basic admin stuff. Everything went swimmingly, also thanks in no small part to Azlyna who helped out. Took some photos to upload on the bowling site, and informed Mr Ng of its existence too.

[Oh goody I just sent the email and it said: Cannot Find Server. Bloody (insert choice expletive). Something told me I should have copied the text, but I ignored it. Effking internet explorer.]

Some scenes from the competition.

In the end I dragged my bowling bag for nothing because none of the school bowlers wanted to play after the competition, and I had to drag it home again. So sian. Lol. By the time it was all over, it was already evening, and almost half of the weekend was gone.

Later I went to Compass Point for dinner. Was browsing through Popular when I saw this on the back of a strangely enough, RUBBER keyboard. Apparently it's washable, virtually indestructible, able to survive coffee spills, and flexible.

It's an ingenious product, only if they had better English. In the pictures, it declares the keyboard as "Dustproof, Can Used in Sandstorm". Which idiot would use his computer in the MIDDLE of a Sandstorm? The last I heard, the Sahara was not a wireless hotspot. Hahaha.

[Crap my post was wiped out when pathetic Blogger requested me to log in again after I clicked publish. Luckily I have this habit of copying all my posts before publishing.]

Anyway I woke up this morning to see my sis watching this Chinese entrepreneur show, when the kids went to Orchard Road to sell stuff. They also sold bookmarks at Bedok interchange.

From my experience with selling bookmarks at Bedok interchange, I thought haha! bookmarks are too ex, they wont sell that much, just a bit cos they're kids. But I was proven wrong. Hence I've come up with revised guidelines on how to go through flag day.

-If you're a kids or a girl, good for you! Society is (almost all the time) biased towards both categories.

-If you're selling something expensive and and you're not one of the above, tough luck. The price will...basic economics lah.

-Go for the tin can flag days. They're easy to do. Low prices, etc.

-Wonderful if you're one of the tin can people (TCP). Now, go for the heartlands. Aunties will gladly give you their spare change after their shopping. City area, nono. (Past experience)

And that's basically it. =D

Have I mentioned before that I would very much to tie all smokers by their hair from a building 20 storeys up and have a go at them with baseball bats? Or put them in a tank of starving piranahs, and take pot shots with rifles? Or do unmentionable thing to certain bits of their anatomy? Because that is what I'm feeling now.

Here I am in front of my com, when I smell the foul, bestial odour of cigarette smoke. Like what the heck? I look for the source, and joy!!! The window of my room is open, and the bastard who is smoking above has managed to fill my room with his second hand smoke. Hence, I won't wake up and smell the roses, I'll wake up and smell the frickin' secondhand smoke from the progeny of a female canine who lives upstairs(read:son of a b***h).

Enough of violence. my room stinks of second hand smoke now. It's just so strange, and it defies logic. Which species actively kills itself slowly and is willing to fork out lot of cash while doing it? Those members are effectively eradicating them selves, but sadly not before they reproduce. All smokers should be given Darwin Awards. (If you don't know what's a Darwin Award, search the net)

If left up to me, I'd stick them all on Jurong island and them blow themselves to kingdom come. Or rather, fiery hell. Imagine the sins you commit by harming hundreds of people throughout your smoking life. I love Singapore and its harsh anti-smoking policy. But still, people still do what's wrong all the time, testifying to the irrationality of human nature.

Yesterday, I saw the gahmen installing panels with nails on them to deter people from playing soccer at the local multi-purpose hall. The teens in my neighbourhood often play at that hall, and love ramming the ball into the side panel so that the panels will often be smashed out of the frames. Supposedly, the panels are to puncture any balls kicked against it.

However, it seems that the boys don't give a damn about the panels, since I spotted some boys playing soccer again today, and they were kicking the ball pretty high. Lol.

Nothing much interesting...resetted in MUonline today, did this in GP class,

which soon multiplied into this at the end of the lesson.

(Wow I didn't realize I was that free.)

9 people and 1 dog at last count. I wish I could see the face of the next person to sit at that seat. I'll see if I can get the clearer pics from Ben. His cam has auto-focus. Also, I was in shock at what me sister showed me just now. I even thought it was fake until she did it again for me to see. I didn't realise she was so insane. Then again, it's called insaniquarium. =

Thursday, August 17, 2006

NAPFA retest today. All cos of my 2.4. =.= Got 14.03 for that, which is...just E. 45 sit-ups, which is an A, 10.2s for shuttle run, B, 226 for standing broad jump, C, 32, sit-and-reach, C, 3 pull-up, which is uh...C? I forgot.

Anyway, test tomorrow...gotta go my homework and study. Can't wait to slack abit tomorrow, but I must also study. (duh) Today, pretty ok I guess. Been getting better then usual, I hope? Haha...back to workkk...

Wednesday, August 16, 2006

Homework. Everything crammed up. No training today. No time to do PW. Attended this "out of this world" Dialogue with a Senior civil Servant. Thanks but I'd rather have a Dialogue with Ten Pins and my Bowling Ball. After this, we also had the College Representative Appreciation Ceremony, which was the reason training was cancelled.

so durin the dialogue, I discussed the Singapore's economic competitiveness with my novel, and when I finished it, with my handphone game. We all gathered to sit at a corner and had the (free) buffet picnic style after the ceremony. Got the Windows XP theme for my phone from Vaibz. Very fun.

So, the next few thing I gotta battle are: Bio mindmap, Vectors 1,2,3,4 summary, and Vectors 1,2,3 test, and find time to do PW. Great.

[UPDATE]
Completed: Bio mindmap, my part of the WR. Feel like crap now. My eyes hurt. Need sleep. 12.47am. Only got 5 hours last night. This sucks. *Yawn* Maths vectors 4 undone, shit, Vectors test haven't studied, double shit. What hte heck am I doing here. Bye. =D

Tuesday, August 15, 2006

Sometimes it just seems like this world is our asylum, and we are all the nutcases running about within.

If you don't think we're nuts; ever ask yourself why you gesture while on the phone even when the other person can't see you?

Anyway, attempting do bio mindmap today which is useless since I can't blog and write at once. I'm getting sick of them, but I have to do it. I used to think, mindmaps? No big deal. While others groaned, I recalled the great time I had doing mindmaps of the ENTIRE bio textbook.

We had such fun. Lol. I have a whole set of notes made in 4-5 different styles, each by a different person and my bio text still has the name of the person assigned to do each chapter..lol.

Now, having to do one after each chapter is beginning to take its toll, but hey, I suppose it's for our own good? An example of a merit good.(economics) Anyway, biology was uber funny today. Haha. Mr Yeow was discussing the light gate with us, and wanted us to use this word A_________. Well, it was "automated", but he drew an extra line, so he filled that up with an exclamation mark before proclaiming that he should play hangman...hahaha.

The look on his face was so comic...lol...like everyone laughed so much during his class today. Then he commented that Valerie disappeared cos she was laughing so hard she bent down and disappeared below his line of sight...lol. And, I borrowed a laptop from the library to use in PW.

Turns out we couldn't save our stuff cos of an unexplainable error, and only assigned different parts of the WR, and use it for all of like 20 or so mins? So i returned it after school. At the bus-stop, someone called and reminded me I was signed up for the Inter-house Bridge Tournament.

Well, i went back and i think the person didn't know so they called after I was at the class room for less than 5 mins, and told me that I didn't need to come anymore. =\ So I left. Besides, i don't think my bridge skills are that great...lol So might as well not go. =p Was so relieved when the day came to an end...a short day tml..whew...

Monday, August 14, 2006

Yet another banal day at school. Discovered L'hopital's[lop-pee-ter] rule in differentiation today. Why do all the people we learn about have such weird names? Basically the only interesting one I've heard is Okazaki(biology). We've got Watson and CRICK o_O, Le Chatelier(yawn), L'hopital(wtf), Pyathagoras(slightly funny).

It's always the mathematicians. They get all the kooky names. Descartes[day-carts], Euler[oiler], and some other weird ones the teacher named our groups in maths. Did their parents hate them or something? Or was it the fad back then to call your kid something unpronounceable? Hahaha. Why aren't there any John's Rules, Tan Ah Kow's Principles? It would make things much simpler.

Somehow I figure there is some evil mastermind in MOE rubbing his palms and laughing crazily as he sets our syllabus. "Hmm, this name looks like a string of alien gibberish. Let's make the students memorise this! [evil laugh]" *scribbles* All students must use Le Chatelier's principle and write the guy's name or no marks! =P

See, everything we learn was discovered/invented by old (and maybe some young) guys, so why don't we learn about the rest and credit them all,or learn none at all. Instead we learn the name of some long figure with a name from the planet Gharbla-9 in the Hurdla galaxy...In fact, I think they poor guys must have been tormented by their peers from young because of their names. So being a bit damaged, they become introverted and all, and coop themselves up in a room all day and start studying Maths or Chem, and discovering some more new stuff we have to learn. Lol.

*No offence intended, just for laughs. =P I know these guys are geniuses and all...

Anyway, finished Chem SPA. Everything went smoothly for once, and I kept checking, so I hope everything is ok, cos it seemed so. I even finished with 15 minutes left. Some minor errors like forgetting to swirl the flask and clamp it, but mainly all was ok.

Ben was damn unlucky cos his pipette filler was broken and his rubber tubing too, and he had to redo an experiment...but he managed to finish with time too. Something bugging me is that my expt 1 is faster, and expt 2 slower, and I'm quite sure I did it correctly, but some ppl said 1 is slower. =S Hopefully I'm ok.

Like in the O level comb. chem, I insisted the metal was zinc(i think, cant quite rmb) while the rest said aluminium. In the end the teacher who also did the expt said it was probably zinc. =D. Alright, I'd better get back to econs. Dammit I haven done Bio mind map. =X

Sunday, August 13, 2006

Chem SPA tomorrow, [long string of expletives] so a short picture and video blog of Saturday and Sunday. Hmm, so went to YM's house in the afternoon. Played the highly interactive and addictive Crash Tag Team racing for a while.

Then we tried out the Jenga blocks, you know, where you remove a piece of wood from a tower and place it on top. We also found other uses for the blocks.

As also as a domino set. The reason we were here today was to celebrate the twins' (Sixu and Siwei's) belated birthday. And, they just arrive in the last part of the video.

Later, I managed to lose this rubber ball in the bushes and I get Siwei to try and fish it out with his...scythe?

Then, we get the fire started, and start cooking!

[can't post some pics. =.=]
Anyway, halfway thruogh dinner, YM's brother smashed a lamp while playing soccer.(Siwei's looking at it)

And here's Siwei congratulating him on his recent feat.

As the sun sets and dusk approaches, a forlorn sight is captured in the boy trying to repair the lamp.

shawn and Calven kicked about a prawn head,

JJ came later on, we watched him play God of War(which, surprisingly, contains some nudity), then stayed overnight watching a movie and some great American cartoons. When we entered YM's room, we found some warriors fighting inside. Pint-sized ones.

And that's all. YM and Calven were playing CS, and I and Shawn were mugging like true MJCians.(And here's something I came up with.)

We, the students of MJC
Pledge ourselves to mug now and forever
Regardless of subject, language and combination
To get our 6'As and 3H3 subjects
Based on hard work and mugging
So as to acheive happiness, prosperity and progress for our college
