Last day of the long weekend coming up. Went to remake new lenses for my specs. $50. Went to R'vale plaza to eat. y sis didn't want to bring her tuition bag along, so she waited at R'vale plave while my mum had to go home and get it for her, so she was late for tuition. Went home again, did some work, went out.
Hougang Mall this time. Cos she wanted to buy a protective cover for her Ipod nano. I thot she wanted an Ipod condom, those rubber skintight covers. But nooo she rought us to see this "carabiner case" which looks as though its made from leather and costs $36. Wth. She says this is the only thing she knows can protect the ipod. =.=
Went downstairs to Harvey Norman, and found one of the ipod condoms. Proudly showed it to her. "See! See! i told you these existed. They aren't hard to find. And cheaper too!" She burst into tears. Like, wtf?!
They spent 15 mins choosing 1 ipod condom. And here comes the good part. 1 brand has this little ring at the bottom so you can attach the strap that comes along with the ipod condom. The other brand didn't but provided a strap so she asked me where it went. I just shrugged and pointed to the two slits on the back of the condom and said maybe it was there. She bought the one with the ring, and asked me to attach it for her. I attached it to the ring and she was stunned. She said she thought it was meant to go in between the slits. I mean c'mon, its so easy to see that it was impossible. =.= She cried because the strap didn't go where she wanted it to go. =.=
Anw, went to Compass point afterwards, checked out the Labour day offers at Singtel. 6280 is 398, 338 after discount. I have to pay $100 more cuz my plan isnt over 21 months, but over 12. Crap. Otherwise it'd be 238...I'm pissed now. I might wait 5 months or get it tomorrow. =S It's my money so i have to think carefully. T_T So confused. The phone is sooo desirable but so is my money...argh. Plus they don't have black but I can plastic wrap the silver one, which ould be pretty cool. Confusing...T_T I'm still doin hw now...
Musing, rants and observations from life around me. May contain a lack of verisimilitude.

Ahh. Still coughing like hell. Saw doc in the morn. Slacked about at home...redid my final PI, and did some econs. Gotta find time for homework tomorrow or Mon. Think I'm not going bowling. A lot of screwups when I left the house today. Left at 4pm, wanted to reach CP by 4.30.
Then, I waited very long for the lift to come. WAs leaning my head against the lift door when I got startled by this long grey cable leaning at the window. I gaped. The lift cable had snapped. I peeked in to see the lift jamming half a floor below, its emergengy brakes engaged. A life saved, perhaps.

Then, I got to the LRT station to realise I left my EZ-link in my other pair of pants, the one I wore ytd, went home to take it, went back and dicovered my water bottle was leaking in my bag. Grrr. After that, the bad lcuk streak ended, whew and I met up with the rest. Went to Raffles Place, but they wanted to eat and htat was at City Hall, den to save money I walked from RP to CH with the guys in poly (adult fare) Hahaha.
Had this Hokkien Mee which I tried to tihkn was not bad but cos i was sick, tasted...not so nice. I kept biting into the towgay(beansprouts) Which I absolutely hate, and turned me off further. Left about an eighth or so on the plate. Then, we walked back to Victoria Concert Hall, Went to this entrance, and Sixu was like "I don't know anyone here...I tihnk this isn't it..." And Junjie was "Do you see any guys around here?" I looked, and Shit! The whole entrance is just girls everywhere. Ws are so in the wrong place. LOL. Qucikyl got out, and found the correct entrance
Went to the toilet and had some fun inside. Pictures please.

Shawn tries to open the door while Sixu's inside, with a 20 cent coin! He looks like a bandit here...hahaha.

The coin works!

Junjie tries to barge in, as Sixu blocks the door with his leg.

Sixu makes his entrance. Snapped some pics before the concert started.

Concert was fantastic. Very nicely done. Good choreography. Expressing emotions for fear, anger, etc, and a memerising star scene with glowing costumes. Got shushed by this lame guy when the whole theatre was murmuring. So big you go shush the entire place la. Trying to act all high and mighty to cover up your inadequacies in some other (ahem) areas. There's no need. You're fat enough to be mighty, but you need to work on the height thing a little bit. LLLLLoser. =D
Anway went home after that, took some shots of the city lights but quite blur cos I had to move quick...the rest were walking on without me.

Supreme Court.

At night.

On to other stuff, yesterday I finally saw the elections heating up my estate. Finally. Saw an SDA truck roar by blaring SDA message. Cool, never did think I'd see one of those. Lots of PAP posters. PAP and SDA flyers on the doorstep Speaking of election, I love the new colour of my estate after upgrading.

Shit brown and industrial red colour. Now it looks like some looney has smeared shit all over the pillars of my estate. Oh, and the gahmen has to take note that Xiaoqiang is still running about my estate, and could they please send the exterminators.

No more cockroaches. How about the nice scenery pics I took yesterday evening?

Hmm...not easy to go online recently. Didn't do well in training on Thurs. Consisent but lousy. =.= I'd radther inconsistent but good. I think. Had Colosseum today. sorta like Sports Day. Realised how mugger MJ is. Other school cancel lesson for something like this, but noooo, MJ has to hold ALL its lesson then start off the thing.
Involved in the prize presentation, which had its pros and cons.I had to stand in the hot sun and record who came 1st, etc, and this made my whole shirt soaked. But the good thing is I was right in the middle of the action, unlike my house Phobos where everyone was right at the far end on the second floor. All cos of the mugger(?) Phobos girls who never turned up/took part in any of the heats except for 1 from my class. House participation involves points, and the resulted in Phobos getting its ass owned with 16 points total, 1 point contributed by the girls only. The rest came from the guys. Compare that to other houses which had like 95 points...
Oh ya, but I also got free food. I don't know why but I found the sardine with French toast HIGHLY addictive. =D Koped a few from others. Everyone sang the school song and went home. Went to PS for my sis's Ipod...repair. And it rained like there was no tomorrow. Bought and watched I Not Stupid 2. Quite good. A lot sadder and more profound than the first one. Haha. found the special effects at the end a little too cheesy. Haha, but I'm working on that in....ssshh....not yet. Top Secret! xD
Was sth wrong with the cable of my sis's Ipod nano. Swapped it and its ok now. All my friends jaws dropped when they heard my 12 yr old sis has one. Who knows what she's thinking...whatever floats your boat. I found the rubber grip on my 3220 was coming off, and a tiny bubble in another one. Ruptured it and the hole became bigger. Rubbed it vigorously and the entire grip became the mass of rough...I dunno, crap or something. Like lots of eraser dust all over it.
Maybe I'll get a new phone. With my own money, I must add. My mum keeps recommending the 6111. Shawn's phone but I don't want it. I prefer the 6280, with is nicer (to me.). I think its kind of...feminine(I'm referring to the 6111). Plus, the screen's bigger! =D I also didn't realise until I picked up a display set that it was Vaibz's phone. Lol. Mum says the 6111 is nicer, the the 6280 is too big and brutish. =.= Well, mayb cos you're a woman? No offence to guys using, but the 6111 is not my cuppa tea, hahaha. But...6280 is more expensive. =S
I'm considering now. It has the functions I want, Buletooth, IR, Decent camera (2MP)which equals better movies, slide up(tired of bar phones), larger screen, ability to transfer content to computer (easy for blogging!), and I just realised when I saw it. 3G. =\ Ok. Mayyyybe my expectations are abit high...we'll see how it goes, shall we? Who knows, I may get the 6111 in the end. =X Haha.

??????? ??? ???? ?????, of Class 06S305 has studied at Meridian Junior College from 2005-2006, at the end of which he sat for the GCE ‘A’ Level Examinations. He has attained full distinctions and an EE grade for project work.
Kenneth is quick to understand concepts and is able to understand and use them effectively. He is a humorous and enthusiastic student who never fails to cheer up his classmates. He bonds well with his classmates and interacts well with them. He often plans ahead and is very meticulous. Because of this, his work is often exemplary and detailed. He is punctual and often hands his work in on time. He never fails to clarify any doubts he has, and on hand to help his peers, especially subjects he is stronger in, such as General Paper and biology. He is often seen staying back after school to help his peers in their work. This shows his commitment towards his friends and class.
As the General Paper representative of the class, he has done well, collecting notes on time and sending out relays. When he was ill and unable to attend school, he still informed one of his classmates to inform the rest of the class, and appointed a temporary General Paper representative to ensure work was still collected and everything went smoothly. He is an avid lover of the English language and this has enabled him to better mentor his peers who are weaker in the subject. He has consistently scored well in the subject, topping the school in General Paper in 2006 and 2007.
Kenneth also was his Project Work Team Leader, and has exhibited many exemplary qualitites of leadership. He has initiative, drive, and passion in whatever he does, and is able to motivate his team members and encourage them all the way. He drew up an excellent Preliminary Idea using a simple yet uncommon topic, which ensured his idea was unique and fresh. This demonstrates his quick-thinking and creative mind, with the capacity to spot objects of interest which prove to be very useful later. As a result, the team unanimously elected him as Team Leader and used his idea for their project.
Kenneth was in the reserve team for the bowling team in the A' Division of 2006. The team acheived 8th position this year, but being in the reserve team spurred him to do better. He made tremendous improvement, and made it to Team 1 of the 3 boys' team sent. Team 1 then clinched 1st place in the A' division of 2007, which is due to no small contribution from this impressive bowler. He is an excellent team player, and works well under pressure, managing to score a perfect game during the competition, a feat which many thought impossible. His humor often encourages fellow teammates, and he is well-liked by all members of his CCA. He is also the treasurer of the bowling team and is always on hand to aid in efficient and quick collection of money, whether it be for the bowling uniforms or the fees.
Through his CCA, he has learnt many invaluable qualities, such as perseverance and determination. Although he only picked up the techinique of spinning during March, and did not do very well at first, he persevered, and made it into the reserve team. Through his determination, he managed to train hard enough and scores high games consistently now. He has also learnt how to handle pressure effectively, and now uses it to his advantage.
Kenneth also excels in non-academic and sporting areas too, with his friendly and helpful nature, he is an enthusiatic volunteer, performing over 150 hours of CIP to-date. He has taken part in 3 Flag Days, and gone on an overseas trip to Cambodia to help build a school for the needy students there. He has initiated several CIP activities with his class and CCA, and these include helping out at an old folks' home, and teaching children at an orphanage.
Kenneth is a friendly, hardworking and compassionate person, who exhibits several leadership qualities and always ready to help. He has done well academically and in his CCA and has contributed greatly to both. With such drives and passion, it is certain he will succeed in whatever he does, and he will be a great asset to whichever orgsnization he joins. Meridian Junior College wishes him success in what ever he does.
Right. That me. Yup. Me. Right...there. Ahahaha. Right. Allow me to scream. I have to go to school tomorrow, I have tried and failed to revise Math, and I had to do this simulated testimonial of what I wanted to see in my testimonial at the end of 2 years. I want sleep! I want rest! I want water! My throat hurts! I'm afraid of Math test on Fri! No! Argh! Ow! Shiat! =) Ranting completed.

Okay...dunno what to type. Let's see. Training on Tues, Wed Thur. Reach home so late on Tues, I fell into bed. Woke up on Wed feeling relatively well-rested, surprisingly. Trying to revise Maths. Won't have much time tomorrow. Damn. Bloody throt killing me. Have a craving for chocolate now...noooo. sight of all the yummy choccies around the house is sooo tempting. Hello Panda, Twix, Oreos, Pocky. =P *drools*.
Mayb I should drink the 2litre bottle of apple juice + aloe vera I bought from carrefour. I love it. Is drinking apple ok on a sore throat? =\ Maybe...with all the vitamin C and all. Haha. Did ok for training. Slow start...damn. Thank God for "System Restore". Stupid MSN wouldn't start up just now. Restored everything back...whew. Tra9ining tml again..whee...I'm slowly improving each training. Sadly it's after the A' div selection. Nvm...next year then. At least I'm in the reserves. Hmm...gotta study chem. Bye!

- What I wanted to type yesterday but couldn't because blogger was fucking pmsing me. I want to ram a red hot spike up its programmers' asshole...fuck blogger. :) -
Won't continue previous post. What's the point? Sore throat killing me...lol. Hurts like having a piece of sandpaper grated up and down my throat. Partially wish I'm not well enough to go to school tomorrow. Quick break from it all. But I'll have to do make-up practical and miss lessons. =S Studying bio...test on Wed.
Math test on Fri. Need to dig out my notes from the locker and bring m home. 5 hours of lesson non-stop tomorrow. Can anyone spell torture? At least I have CCA tml. Whee. Throwing 5 kilograms of ball at stuff. Came home to dicover my mum cooked fried rice! o_O Fighting fire with fire?
Hahaha...dug out a thermometer cos the school wanted to see us with it. =.= Wet day. Top deck of the bus was flooded at the left and right sides. Got a recap lesson on the inertia part of physics. Bus brakes. Water rushes forward. I put my feet up. Water dashes itself on the wall. Water flows back. Feet come down.
It was like that all the way home. Came home and saw some North Vista Sec girls running about the b-ball court. o_O! Interesting display of erratic human behaviour. Saw that their friends/bfs were at the multi-purpose space kicking about soccer balls.
Aha! You cunning devils you...what did you do to make them frolick in the rain? Ulterior motives eh? Lol...joking. Ah...better get back to my biology. That's all. Stupid throat. AHA! I have you now! Stupid f***ing blogger you cunning little devil.
Tried to ruin my posts like all the times you did before right? HAH! No chance! I copied my post! Mwahahahahahahaz! Feel my wrath. Posted and you just started looping "publishing posts"? No chance @$$#0|3!!! I'm gonna post again, and you're gonna publish it this time! Right. Okay. Talking to programs. Not a good sign...not good...

Hmm...maybe I do have something to say. Just bored I guess. Today, or maybe yesterday, I realised that everywhere I went, pieces of memories would appear. Shades of the past, shards of remembrance of places I knew in the past. Happened on the bus. Memories, flashbacks returned like the contents of an old box.
Got on at Bishan and dozed off as it was leaving. Woke at AMK, and saw the MRT station there. Ah. Flag day in sec 4. Good memories. Took neoprints with the STT gang. Hahaha. Slacked 4 hours on the job then.
Dozed off, woke at Hougang. Sights flashed by. The Macdonlds I ate at for almost 10 years before moving house. Saw 2 girls wearing Nan Chiau Sec 3 orientation cmap t-shirts. Good itmes. Fun days. Saw my primary school, remembered my teachers and friends. Opposite it, the 7-11 where we would dash to after school to buy fast food, and eat before going home. Mum just came in to remind me of school. Thanks. =[
Pressure of real schooling gets me irritated now. I still can never forget the memoires I had in the 1st 3 months. The idyllic slacking days. I loved those days, and can safeky say I won't forget them. Goning out with close friends, watching movies, skipping class, not doing homework, with O levels just behind us. Online everyday till 11, numerous outings and sms...sweet sweet times. I wish we could return to a happier place, a better world.
But even as memories are good, they are bad. Most remain with me. As there are places with contain good memories, there are those too which do not. And I do return to revisit them once in a while. Return to the past...where what was once right became were all wrong not. Places I wish I'd never existed or I had never gone to. But I cannot deny their existence. More about this next time if i feel like it...
[UPDATE]
Struck by the monotony of life while doing homework. Very bored. Benn feeling troubled all day. Went to PS. Sis bought her Apple Ipod Nano. Looked at digicams. Gonna do PI soon. No mood for much. School tomorrow. Sucks.

Whee! Fun day. Photo log today. Morning didn't start out too well...the alarm clock woke me up at 10 instead of 9! Small wonder considering I've been using it since late primary school...lol. Bathed changed and rushed out without eating. Originally wanted to meet them at 12.30, ended up 11. And when I reached Orchard...
Sarah and Gina were at Bishan Mos Burger! T_T They thought I wouldn't reach so early, but I estimated so correctly I was on time. =.= Then Gina's food hadn't come so I went to Bishan.
Went to Raffles City as Gina wanted to get the employment application form from Coffee Club. We wasted time walking in the wrong direction (to Citylink Mall). =X Along they was we saw people fixing the mega screen at Suntec.

If you squint, you can just make out a man sticking his head and arm out through a hole in the screen. While I had my lunch (too late for breakfast now) at the food court, they camwhored with Gina's new phone and my camera. =P

On the way to the esplanade, we saw some installation art which was totally cool. Click the pics to see what the boards proclaim.

Our first picture at the esplanade was enhanced by a healthy blue glow from the neon lights stylishly installed on the ceiling.

It was an expensive day with $4 cai fan and $3.20 Starbucks Mocha Frappucino. But oh so yummy...the frappucino I mean.Remember what I said about the lights being stylishly installed? Well, here they are...

After we walked about abit, we decided to go when we saw...Haagen-daz!!!This meant...TRY OUT the FONDUE I've been hearing so much about!!!

It looked so delicious and tempting when it arrived. My first time. Yum.

As Gina rightfully pointed out, this was almost sinful. Ahaha.

Cake and choco is SO right. Mmm...

And banana. Mmm...chocooolate.

And icecream. With strawberry sauce.

The remains. *Takes deep breath* I LOVE HAAGEN-DAZS' FONDUE! AHHHH!!! AHHHH!!! =D

Passed by more installation art...

The Esplanade. On a billboard.

On the way to TPJC Carnival.

Gina act chio in TPJ. Ahahaha.

The new ad for Gina's Panasonic phone...hahaha.

Isn't that the building we've seen in a lot of TV shows? I didn't realise it was here!

On the way home.
